Today, I will be talking about Spring outfit ideas for Church as it has been the most requested topic lately for me. Some church imposes a dress code that you must adhere but if they don’t then here is your guide for dressing up for church. Church outfits are usually conservative and modest, So make sure to choose clothes that are not too revealing. Some church allows some sleeveless or some skirt but are not mini depending on the weather. I know it is somewhat hard getting dressed early in the morning, it can also be a challenge, and how dressing up for church during the spring season can also be a great way to show your own personal style. So here I am sharing some outfits, mostly dresses that are church appropriate.
Spring Outfit For Church
This dress is perfect as it has sleeves but you can always add a layer when the weather is chilly. Maxi and midi dresses provide good coverage as Spring weather is unpredictable. Long sleeve dresses are another option too if you do not want to add extra layer on your clothing. For me it is always a good idea to layer so if the temp goes up, you can easily remove it.
This second outfit is good if you are not a dress lady. This is a chic look with denim jeans and you can always add layer like denim jacket, utility jacket or a trench coat if you may.
This maxi dress is perfect example of layering an outfit for church, a simple blazer can make a difference!
Long sleeve dresses is another way to wear it be it as short as this, midi or maxi length. But always make sure to check for your church dress code and then you can go from there, but all these options work. On the safe side always consider a more conservative outfit option if you are unsure of the dress code.
Tips for creating the perfect church outfits for Spring:
Break out the pastels:
There is no better time than Spring to break out all your favorite pastel colors. Yellow, pink, baby blue, purple, and any other color that reminds you of Springtime and Easter are the perfect colors for creating the cutest church outfits. Don’t forget a lightweight layer:
Springtime is know for those days that are cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon. So its for this reason that I recommend bringing along an extra lightweight layer. If your worried about being cold before and / or during church, you can bring along a light layer like a cardigan, a shacket, or a shawl.
Be prepared for a surprise spring rain shower:
Springtime is not only known for it’s diverse weather, but also for it’s surprise rain showers. To protect yourself from the elements and make sure your church outfit stays in tip top condition, don’t forget to bring a light jain jacket, poncho, or umbrella to accompany your church outfit.
