Trench coats are always in style. I remember seeing them in old classic movies throughout the years and I have always loved them. They make a return each and every fall as they are the perfect fall and winter staple. Not only are they very stylish and warm, but most also protect you from the rain and wind.

What To Wear With A Trench Coat

A Sweat Suit

I love a good sweat suit and trench coat outfit. It’s so comfortable and relaxed, yet somehow still very chic and modern. Also trendy right now as both streetwear and casual wear. This is one of my favorite outfits for all types of travel.

Jeans

I have found that jeans always look good with a trench coat. Especially skinny jeans. You will see that I am wearing jeans in a couple of the outfits featured below. It is really easy to pair jeans with a neutral trench coat. Neutral matches black jeans, white jeans, and regular blue jeans. If you are wearing a colored trench coat, you may need to choose the color of your jeans more wisely.

Dresses

This one might seem obvious but I will mention it anyway. Dresses and trench coats go perfectly together no matter the length of your dress. If you are attending any special event where you need a stylish jacket to wear over your fancy dress, a trench coat is usually perfect.

Fashion-forward Sun Glasses

I love wearing powerful sunglasses with my trench coat because it gives all the James Bond vibes. It makes me feel confident and smart, and it is such a powerful statement.

Because trench coats stop around the calves, they provide the perfect opportunity to show off your statement shoes. Whether they be stylish modern kicks, classy black heels, or your favorite pair of ankle boots. Since trench coats and statement shoes are both very eye-catching, they make for a very balanced look when paired together.

I love statement handbags and I am always very particular when purchasing them. I take my time doing all the research and then I enjoy creating outfits with them again and again.
