Why My love for Polka Dots Outfit keeps on Growing. How can you not if that is a classic print you can wear all year round like a good investment. In case you have not noticed, I also just posted a polka dot dress like a week ago, here, in case you missed it. What got me into this is the stylish cut of this top which is a perfect transitioning piece from Summer to Fall. I would also wear this with jeans and pair it with pumps or even sneakers. This print is so versatile that you can wear it with pretty much anything.

It is still hot and humid so I folded the sleeves a bit and wore it with shorts. To make it even comfier and fancier is pairing it with kitten heels shoes like this Valentino Rockstud or any pointed toe shoes, making you look longer. I was able to wear this for a coffee around Old town Alexandria, VA which has a European feel, specially around King Street.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway at the Poconos

Every year we always visit Eagle Rock for a family get together with our relatives from New York. So this year it happened this weekend. Labor Day Weekend Getaway at the Poconos, our way of spending the last days of summer vacation with the whole family in Pennsylvania. It was a fun filled event as we gather with family and friends and we had a summer olympics where we have different teams that played with each other for some games.

It was hard to get the kids in the picture here because they were having so much fun and playing with the other kids here. You might be wondering why most of it is just me. I really wanted them to be on the blog as much but I do not want them to be obliged to be in the pictures if they are enjoying their moments. Remember most of the happiest moments are not captured because if you really having fun, you probably do not have any gadgets or camera in your hand. Do you agree?

As for the outfit highlights here, the romper is the best! The style with chic and comfort feel it gave me while wearing it my flip flops is priceless. The sweater came in handy because it was chilly up in the mountains!

For all the lucky ladies who can wear anything to work, this is an outfit inspiration for you! if your work place doesn’t have a strict dress code this Not your typical Work Clothes is for you. Most of the time working at the fashion industry, advertising agencies, marketing and the likes, will let you dress up like this. There might be other work places that are not strict that you know, let m know from the comments below to add to my knowledge.

So now, Let me talk about this flattering dress from Black halo. Such a good brand, I did a review on one of their jumpsuits here. It is really worth the price! I can say that this dress is true to size but it looks tight fitted to me as I sized down. As you can see, it fits like a glove. It will definitely show your shape and the length is a little short. This styling is absolutely out of the box! This dress can also be worn on parties as you can see with its glam details.

When I wore this, it really made me feel like a boss and the confidence was just there. I just cannot explain the feeling. I bet if you will try this look, you can tell yourself I can conquer the world! The color too is not commonly seen everywhere. You really have to choose which type of green shade you are gonna wear. This one is in between being light and being dark so it really went well with the handbag and shoes.

Work appropriate Striped Shirt Dress that is chic and comfy and will make you productive all throughout the day just by feeling fabulous. I just wish that I wear this kind of outfits everyday at work. Being a Physical therapist I have to wear scrub suit. And let me tell you, there is this lady , the manager at the business office at work and she really dresses well. She walks confidently in it like a true Boss lady! That is what I was projecting while I was doing this shots here. Also do not ever forget that confidence is the best outfit ever, if you have it, it shows and you will really nail any look you have for that day.

As for this shirt dress, it is so flattering with belted style and the stripes are just creating this illusion making you look taller and if you are not into wearing heels. You can wear pointed toe flats or if you are a sneaker girl, you also make use of it, it will also make a good combination. As for the purse, this shirt dress also goes well with everything. This will also make a good transitional dress for Summer to Fall. You just need to add a light coat or jacket.

Can you feel that fall is starting to make an early entrance? Every morning when going to work I can already feel its cool breeze. And here I am sharing this Fall Trend: Retro and Feminine Top that will sure give you the fresh style and will give you enough warmth on a cool breezy fall air. I added wearing these very comfy booties from last Fall. It is undeniably exciting to see those colors changing on the trees and the smell of pumpkin spice everywhere.

I was shopping at the mall yesterday and smelled the scent of fall fragrances and it got me shopped for a new pair of booties who are on clearance that you will get to see on the blog soon. Making a Difference by Starting #Iappreciateyoumovement

This blog post is not just about fashion but about life in general and Making a Difference by Starting #Iappreciateyoumovement is something I have been thinking about for a while now. I have been noticing a lot of negativity around me like people complaining about everything here and there. That kept me thinking why do they do this? It was made crystal clear that most of the people are not being appreciated.

I am currently re-reading the book of Dale Carnegie “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and he clearly stated there this. The deepest urge in human nature is “desire is to be important. This desire makes you want to wear the latest styles, drive the latest cars, and talk about your brilliant children. So he stated on the book to show people they are important is to show sincere appreciation.

Greatest example of it was my brother. He was really excelling in school for consistent year and every year my parents failed to show up on recognition days and I will be the one there with him to accept his award. Of course for his young mind, he was proud of his achievements and wanting my parents to be proud of him too. Then after a few years, he started not excelling in school and now thought about this quote “If you don’t show your appreciation to those who deserve it, They’ll learn to stop doing the things you appreciate.” -from pinterest

And another good example is “A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected.” I was always being noticed by my father when I was younger that I love to draw and he always tells me I really draw good and I can be an artist in the future. That kept me practicing more and even competing in some poster making contests in school. My effort is being recognized and that is a greatest feeling.

So today, I am starting #Iappreciateyoumovement because I want you to “Be Somebody who makes everybody feel like Somebody.” I encouraged you share this post if you really like this and start spreading this positive vibe throughout our community. I suggest get a sticky note pad and give it to somebody that you truly appreciate and start seeing the big difference (in a good way). By showing someone how you appreciate them, you are making that persons day and I bet it will make our day too knowing you made someone feel important equals both of you being happy.

Planning a trip to Virginia Beach? Here’s a detailed guide based on our recent experience to help you make the most of your visit.

Where to Stay:
We stayed at the Courtyard By Marriott North Oceanfront, which has recently renovated its rooms. The decor exudes a beach vibe, thanks to the stylish wallpaper. The beds are extremely comfortable, and each room is equipped with complimentary coffee and tea, a microwave, and ice vending machines on every floor. The highlight of our stay was the resort-style pool area, complete with a pool bar. In case of bad weather, the indoor pool is available and stays open until 11 pm.

Back to Basics with Denim Overall for a chic casual everyday look that is easy to pull if you are always on the go and wanna look fab. You know I am all into dressing up good and easy that is why I love dresses, jumpsuits and romper. If you are a mom like me, you do not have that much time for preparation for yourself because you have to help your kids get dressed to.

This outfit is also a good transitional style from Summer to Fall. Another good style for back to school style. This style is for all ages. Any age group can pull this off and if you are really in to comfort, you can easily wear sneakers with this look. The length of this overall is long that is why I wore it with the wedge sandals so I do not have to roll it up. But I suggest you do it when it is long for you and you wanna wear it with flats.

Have you tried the polka dot trend yet? I have been seeing it a lot lately and embracing the Polka dot trend. I have seen a few come start of this year and let me tell you something about this trend. Polka dot outfits is something you will see yearly every New Year’s Eve in the Philippines because of the belief that it is a sign of money. So if you are wearing one, you are summoning it to come to you.

Polka dot is such a classic just like the stripes for me. This particular dress really got me because of the ruffled hem and it being a wrap dress with flared sleeves. For me, this is a good transitional outfit from Summer to Fall. It is light and the color is just so gorgeous for both seasons. As you all know me, I love pairing same colors for my accessories and I came up with white. It is neutral and can be paired literally with anything.

What about the cobble stones here? Do not attempt walking on them when you are wearing heels. It is for trained professionals like me. Lol! You don’t want to sprain your ankle then you are gonna have to see me and I will give you therapy 🙂
