Designer Dress for Less

I am so happy to see this collection come true with one of my favorite designers. I have worn some of her pieces before, they are on the expensive side but it was worth the buy with its classy design and good quality materials. So over the moon that @shopalexis was able to collaborate with Target to make this Designer dress for less! I am so happy that she has my favorite color in this style. The pattern, the material and how flowy it is is the perfect combination plus the rope belt that is so flattering. This can be worn as a Wedding guest dress, any Spring/Summer cocktail events, brunch, date nights and the likes. This dress is also perfect for Memorial Day outfit given its color. Here are the previous Shopalexis dresses I have worn for Memorial Day Outfit inspiration back in May 2018 here. and this dress was similar to the one I am wearing here. Below are other Designer pieces I love from this collaboration.

Most of these pieces are perfect for all the ocassions we all have been longing for since we had the pandemic. I am loving the colorful vibe of all these dresses. It is just giving me all the good vibe and all the fun things we can all do this Spring and Summer now that we are all trying to go back to our normal lives. Praying for this pandemic to be over! This has caused all of us anxiety and all but also thankful for all the lessons we learned from it.

Past Weekend Vacation Styles

Sharing this past weekend vacation styles I wore at the beach. So we went on an overnight beach trip and I wish it was at least a 3D2N stay but hey not complaining to get some vitamin sea with the family. As you can see here this sweater is very versatile. There are so many ways you can wear it depending on your style and the weather of course. The first two will be perfect for Fall and the third one for Winter or you can switch out the leopard shoes into an over the knee or high knee boots as well. The sweater is so cozy and soft and the color is so beautiful.

These are non maternity swimsuits but I will make a post for that if you are interested in some maternity swimsuits. I would love to share some cute ones for the expecting mom like me.

This Summer I will probably be by the pool mostly as I cannot be as far away travelling. It will be the start of my third trimester next week and It means I am getting closer to my due date.

What we were thinking are just quick trips to the Water Park so the kids can enjoy this Summer, Or the nearest beach here in our area. I was wondering if we can still do babymoon. I really have no plans, so if you have some ideas you want to share. I would love to hear them out.

Maternity Work Wear Style File

Being pregnant can be uncomfortable specially when your belly gets big and this dresses will help you pull through. I wish I can do this in real life.. You might be wondering why I said this. If you you just started following me. You probably don’t know that I work as a Physical Therapist during the day. It means wearing scrub suit is my most comfortable outfit.

If I will work in a typical office setting. These are the dresses I would wear my whole pregnancy. I know I will be able to move freely with them without sacrificing comfort and style. As I always mention this on most of my outfit post. You should be able to do both when styling your outfit.

I can pair it with flats, heeled sandals and so many more. I can add blazer, a coat if the weather gets chilly or if your office is in full blast AC. And if you don’t know me, I have all the excuses to wear dresses. Couldn’t wear much of them during the cold seasons. So expect more dresses style inspiration to come your way.

Stay tuned for more maternity style and update in the upcoming weeks as my tummy gets bigger. I am still on my second trimester but I already feel that my tummy is too big for 21 weeks. I am so scared for what my belly will look like on the third trimester. But also excited that it makes it closer to meeting my baby girl soon.

Happy Monday! Do you feel tired of having 1 hour less sleep? Let us think of it this way, it means we will have more days and the sign that Spring is on its way. A lot of outdoor things we can do and a lot flowers and trees coming back to life. Blushing for Spring with a Wrap Top here is my game plan. Simply chic look you can pull through everyday. If the temp drops just don’t forget to add a light trench coat or a light denim jacket to top it off.

This look is easy to recreate and I must say a classy basic. Any simply top combined with a designer handbag and a chic pumps already elevated the look to simple to chic. Need not to say more but Like what I have mentioned before that designer handbags are a good investment. I always save money for them because you know they are expensive but it is really worth having.

Happy Wednesday and lovely morning to all! I am sharing another Shein style I have this spring. Sharing this Shein Floral Dress white spaghetti strap that I really love. Because you can dress up or dress down with it. As you can see I just added this Denim Blazer that I had for years to add more class to it and dressing down just by taking it off. You can wear this outfit everywhere like the mall, having lunch or dinner with friends. And knowing me I added contrast with the white dress by adding the denim style which is the blazer and the shoes (which I am really obsessed this season).

Entry Way Re-decorated

Hello and good morning my dear friends! How is your week going so far. Today I will be sharing a part of my home to you which my husband and I re-decorated. When we bought the house of course it has a different look. The previous owner also have their own style which is not same as ours. So when we do have a budget a budget. We change it by means of re-painting or adding some wall stickers.

BEFORE

As you can see on the before pictures. The wall in our entry way area has floral wall paper and we just changed it using this gray wall paper we got from target, we also like this and this. They are very chic, affordable and very easy to use. It is just like a big sticker that you have to peel the white part and just stick it to the wall, that simple. It has to be 2 person to put them , one will be putting on the sticker while the other one peels the white part and hold it until you are at the end.

We took off the floral candle holder wall decor and replaced it with this very lovely wall art also from Target. The decorative objects we got from Home goods. I wanted them to be white as it adds contrast to the accent table. I also love this white elephant and this white plant, we added faux floral to make it look very lovely, I would also like to get this faux flower in a vase. I also added some books to add more accent.

AFTER

We also changed the lighting and we got this semi flush mount light we got from Home depot and also used LED for energy efficiency. What do you think about the new look? Did it look chic and stylish?

I hope I was able to give home inspiration and home re-decorating ideas to you. Our next project is to change the Lighting in our dining room to a modern style like what we added here.

Toning

Happy Friday! Today, I will start back to my workout routine as I have slacked during the holidays. It was really hard for me to keep up with my daily workout routine. As I was planning on packing things for our recent family vacation. And all the food that was there during the festivities.

This day, moving forward and as my goal for this year. I will be more active than I was last year. I must say that 2015 was really a great year for me being somewhat consistent with working out. Again, I will use my nike training App and S health from my android phone. I want to be toned and look very fit. Not only by exercising but also eating the right food and the right amount. Being fit makes me feel good. And I know that I am becoming a good example to my children as sometimes they will follow my workout routines, It becomes our bonding.

And to all the mommies like me. You know you also have to take care of you as how you take care of the whole family.

Let’s workout together and be fit! I know it is hard but all we can do is start.
