Black and blue.. sounds like backstreet boys album right? Well, That is just the color I am wearing. If you don’t know yet, my favorite color is blue and I really wanna wear them now. I don not want to wait for summer to wear it, so I mixed it with the all time classic black jeans to represent winter. I do believe that these days. You just have to experiment and see what color goes perfectly together. With these style, I noticed they are both strong colors so they just balance out.

I matched my cobalt blue shoes as it goes well with the sweater. So it is also a lesson that you can now wear white after labor day. I believe blue is a very versatile color you can wear any day and time of the year. I just had to add some neutral colors like this very soft pashmina scarf. It was so windy when we were shooting this so the scarf has been all over me.

I am just so excited that Spring is coming soon. It is not obvious that I don not like winter so much right? Can’t blame me as a was born and raised in a tropical country and secondly I love to look at the snow but not to drive on it. When we had a very bad winter snow storm here in the East. I was stuck for 5 Hours where it will only take me 10 mins drive to home from work. So no Thank you, If I can escape it why not. It made me miss last year as I was back home in the Philippines where I was able to escape winter for 3 weeks.

What is your favorite color? Is it something you will wear all year round? Share it to me as I wanna get to know you too.

Happy Wednesday and thank you for stopping by.

Christianne

COLUMBIA WINTER BOOTS

Happy New Year! I am glad you are here with me with my first post. I hope you all have a great time welcoming 2017. Since this is winter season I am here to talk about a winter outfit. It was so windy and in the 30’s temperature when we shot this look. I was also next to a man made lake so can you just imagine how cold it was when we were shooting this photo. It did not bother me at all as I was wearing this winter cozy outfit I got from Columbia (this is not a sponsored post) as I just wanna share my experience with all of you.

I also wore this outfit when we went snow tubing with out family and friends few days ago and you’ll know it when you follow me on instagram. I was also wearing a North face sweater inside then but I was really warm as I started moving. I actually really did not need it as this jacket provided me enough warmth that I need. I was also wearing a snow gloves to keep my hands warm.

These winter outfit you need to invest with when you live in a place were winter can be brutal as it is worth the price. Specially if you love winter adventures and doesn’t want to get sick.

I hope I was able to give you some inspiration with this look and go ahead and enjoy this winter weather as there are a lot of things you can do. Up next I will post our Snow Tubing experience so stay tuned.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have wonderful year and week ahead.

Are you ready to face 2017? I know I am as I am so thankful to have a wonderful 2016 and excited to see what 2017 has for me. I really enjoyed doing this blog as I can really express the creative aspect in my life. My right side of the brain is really working hard to show the world my creative side.

I love working in the healthcare field because I love helping people and see that they get better. But on the other side of me, I also envision myself wearing high heel shoes and chic outfits. Which I will not be able to do in the healthcare as I have to wear scrub suit for professionalism and comfort. At least here, you my readers have been a part of my journey towards the fashion, lifestyle and travel world. All those other passion I really love doing.

I just wanna thank you all for all your support, this blog wouldn’t be possible without you my dearest. Also with the help of my supportive and loving family specially my official (well I just forced him into this actually) photographer (thank God he loves photography!)

I am hoping to see you all in 2017 to see the other looks of me, my travel adventures with my family… I chose this look as this is fierce and classy look that I really wanna take with me in 2017.

Cheers to the New Year! Have a blessed one to all of you!

This bell sleeve trend is something That I really embraced so much. If you have been following me, I have worn so many different bell sleeve tops. The good thing about it is that it comes in so many different styles like this one and this one. If you have clicked on those other two links you will noticed I have worn them in the Summer and Fall. I actually have worn it all year round and it just varies on the material of the clothing depending on what season it is.

I truly adore this sweater as it is really chic due to the added bow embellishment. This sweater is one size fits all, I always wear medium from Shein as you can see it still fits me it is just a little short to me so I wore it over my high waist pants so It doesn’t look so short on the torso.

I also love this and this style as they are so chic and stylish. I would be wearing more of this styles in the coming New Year. I also apologize for wearing these ankle boots so much. They are just so comfy and stylish.

Have a wonderful day and Thank you for stopping by.

It is officially Winter today! Are you equipped with all the coziest outfits to wear this season? As long as you have all the basic, you will survive the cold. Perfect example was the time we did this photo shoot. It was 28 degrees and it was windy. Thank good for this wool coat as it really is the life saver to cover me from the windy chills together with this cozy, super soft scarf!! I am not really a scarf person but it really gives you protection and makes you feel warm. This ankle boots actually is already enough but if you are really cold, you should wear gloves that has touchscreen fingertips, OTK boots or just mid calf boots and a hat!

Another tip, always keep a lotion with you and lip balms too. I hope I was able to make a good recommendations. Specially if you are new to a country that has this winter weather. I actually had to learn all that. And You really have to invest for worthy pieces as they last long. Most of the winter items are really expensive so buy those worthy of your hard earned money.

Happy Wednesday and thank you for stoppin by.

Have you tried wearing Satin Blazer? It is something to try on this Holiday as to its satin texture. It pass like a metallic outfit. It gives that festive look to any simple outfit you are wearing. It is also not bulky as you can put a coat on top of it. I just wore this as a casual look for an evening dinner with friends or if I will be strolling the MGM National Harbor. I will pass to their dress code if I will lounge to one of their bars there.

If you are really in to really fancy festive look. I would recommend you pair it with these shoesIt really is such a cute shoes and can also be work with a dress or skirt while still wearing your blazer on top of it.

I am the type who tries pout something different lately. I am trying not to be wearing something that when I go to a place, there will be one or two people with the similar outfit on. Has that ever happened to you? That would be embarrassing right?

Happy Monday and Have a wonderful week ahead as we only have 6 days to go before Christmas.

The reason I posted this look is that this is an outfit that is easy to wear when visiting places I will mention for you to visit this Holidays. As those are the ones mostly I have been to and some of it I would want to visit and see for myself and heard so many good reviews from my friends. It is just a comfy and cozy look and those shoes are just my favorite this season.

These are the places to visit….

  1. Ice at the Gaylord Hotel it has been I think 4 or 5 years that we have been going there as a family. It never fails to amaze us and also we always enjoy the ice slides and looking at all the pretty sculptures. Be prepared though and wear boots, scarf, gloves, hat and heavy coat. it really is super cold inside even though they will give you another long coat.
  2. Winter Festival of Lights at Watkins Park in Upper Marlboro. We were just there Monday and it has been our second year because we really enjoyed last year. You will just drive around the park and watch all the beautiful Christmas lights with different designs. It is $5  admission for a car.
  3. Holiday at Six Flags I always get their invites as a season pass holder and I heard it is really good. It is only until January 2, 2017
  4. Zoo Lights at the SmithsonianNational Zoo in DC as it is really pretty at dark with all the Christmas lights and plus seeing all the beautiful animals.
  5. Christmas tree outside the White House while strolling around and touring DC.
  6. King Street In Alexandria, Va which we always go as they have those pretty small shops and nice restaurants to eat plus all the Christmas decor the whole street and all the Christmas lights. You will really feel very festive!
  7. Walking in Winter Wonderland to see the gorgeous Christmas lights which your family and friends and make sure to bundle up and enjoy what you will see.

So far, these are the fun places that I myself have been to and would love to go. There are I am sure a lot more fun places and if you know one. Let me know in your comments if you also live here in the DMV.

Happy Holidays, I can’t believe we are just few days away before Christmas. Have a nice weekend everyone!

Are you ready for the coldest days of the season? Winter is already here in Maryland, I can feel it as I am getting some colds. Geez! This season makes me wanna move to Texas or Florida or much better California. Oh well, enough of my sentiments as I got me covered for those days. I have this Tailored Long coat to beat the cold and it gives enough coverage. It’s not only serving that purpose but also add class and chicness to you outfit.

I might say that when it is this time of the year. Most of the time even when we are inside some buildings even though they have the heater on we still feel cold and will leave the coat on. Then you don’t get to see the full outfit. Might as well wear a coat that is already stylish right? I also love this stylish burgundy coat  and this one too!

If you really are anemic 🙂 nope, If you are a person who is always cold. Then add an over the knee boots to not only style it more but gives you more coverage. Don’t forget to add some scarf and hat to add more warmth if really needed.

Happy Monday to all of you and I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week.

Christianne

VINCI CAMUTO SHOES (OLD) SIMILAR HERE AND HERE

I can’t believe we are just a few days away from Christmas and the New Year. I am here still working on completing my Christmas gift  list as I have a big family and a lot of friends. But at least I am done with my outfit for that day. I have this green wrap front Midi Dress for a change as I do not wanna be a little unique (somewhat?!) You know what I mean. Green is a hard color to wear but this one is just perfect for the holiday. It actually goes well with most Holiday colored (metallics  of gold, silver etc.) accessories. Because I do believe a lot of people already have thought of red and black the most.

I am also the type who likes to experiment because I do not want to be confined into just one style. I wanna be able to wear anything depending on my mood and the places I am going to wear them. Since this dress is for Holiday so I added my favorite shoes which I have worn so many times and it has gold plates and paired it with this pretty faux fur clutch, as you can see from my previous post here that I added these Anne Klein accessories which made the whole ensemble chic.

I also would recommend you to try this velvet dress and this shoes together but if you really wanna be on the safe side… Give this LBD a try and pair it with this shoes.

I hope I was able to give another outfit inspiration before the Holiday comes. Have a great weekend and Thank you for stopping by.

Simply,

Christianne
