Are you one of those people like me who are incline to fashion and would love to express more of your passion by becoming a fashion or personal style blogger? Let me tell you how it all started for me. I do not know anyone personally who is into fashion, lifestyle or travel blogger so I was hesitant to be one as I know I will be all alone in this journey. I have no one to talk to about it that can relate and can give an insight. But then I kept on seeing these beautiful pictures of @songofstyle @hellofashionblog @rachparcell @lovelypepa and how successful they are blogging and I am truly inspired by them. So I started googling about how to start a blog then sign up on wordpress , so there is no backing out.

So when I was starting out, it was really frustrating because I do not have much resources myself, just relying on goggle pretty much on everything. I have been making a lot of mistakes and it would have been prevented If at first I already have the right resources for me to grow as a blogger. I just wanna give a special thanks to another blogger Mr. Craig Smith of http://thewiseaffiliate.com/ who helped me transfer my files from wordpress.com to my own hosting site without asking for anything in return, just helping another blogger.

To cut the story short, I was already blogging for a year and half and I still feel lost. Then I came across this community of bloggers and see that they uplift and grow with each other. So i joined as I really want to be successful with this and level up my blog. If you have been following me, you’ll be able to tell how my website, my instagram, my pictures and other social media has improved. It is all because I joined the Style Collective Community. Paying $10 a month is so worth it for all the resources I get that helps me to grow as a blogger, meeting new people and getting a lot of help through them as they overflow with great resources coming from Tax experts, IT experts… brand collaboration…

Every experience though I cherish because I learn from them. There are a lot of things to know if you want to be a successful in your passion. So if you are like me who wants to get better with what you do, or just want to make friends in the community sign up here. It is soooo worth it!!

I have been dreaming about Spring so much lately as we have been having this lovely Spring like weather. Like I have been saying it is weird for February but I am loving it. So I created this Spring trends that I myself is excited about to wear. I Have worn some of the trends already since January when the weather permits. Like the mules and the ruffled top here. Another trend that I have been thinking of trying to wear are the balloon sleeves top and embroidered jeans.

There are so many beautiful Spring trends that really excites me and looking forward to trying on myself and showing off to you guys. If you also noticed that frayed hem jeans is also here. I made one myself out of my old jeans here on this post. It was actually easy to do it yourself and it was fun to experiment. I felt like a designer for a little bit. lol!

How was everybody’s Valentine’s day? Did you do something special or you went low key and stayed at home? We all just stayed at home as yesterday was one of our busiest day as my hubby does coaching for a HS basketball team and I had to take Adi to her gymnastics class after school. That being said, Talking about the comfy outfit I wear when I want to get things done. We all want to look good and chic always but that doesn’t mean that can only be achieved by wearing cute blouses and dress. As a mom like me, I run a lot of errands at home like taking my kids to some class, going to the groceries, banks and stuff like that. When I am on the go like that, I wanna be comfy. The easiest way to do it is just by pulling these simply look out of my closet and viola, I am ready for a spin.

I know most of you have these basic outfit in your closet. This style just get things done with no sweet, aching feet wearing heels. I also wear hoodies sweater as they make me move around so fast, you know what I mean. How about you? Are you the type that you really have to be all dressed up even when you only need to fill up the gas tank, groceries or just by getting some drive thru?

Looking for a stylish transition pieces for Spring? I actually found this one at Ross and fell in love as it has a cool style and the material is so soft. This jacket is easy to style as it already looks like a statement piece with its edgy zip front. If it feels winter you use this as it is a jacket to put on top of your top and comes Spring temps you can just wear it as it is. Just like how I am wearing it right now as the temps are just right. You can actually make a sporty look out of this too by pairing it with jogger pants and these sneakers.

A lot of looks can be created with this jacket. It can also be paired with boots of any length with jeans of course. With just this one piece you can already play a lot of future looks to pull out of it. Worth investing on this piece I should say. I would also pair this with blush pinks and it is perfect Spring fling!

Happy Monday! Mondays in Camel Faux Suede Jacket Today I am sharing this look that is really appropriate for the windy and chilly weather we are having right now here in Maryland. I am wearing this chic outfit on Mondays camel faux suede jacket from chicwish. I really love the texture of it. I am wearing medium here but if you want to wear something thick inside I suggest you size up one. I really love this style making me feel so fierce and ready to face Monday. It is a little upgraded fall casual look. I was also thinking of pairing it with a leopard print flat if I didn’t feel like wearing any heels. As you all know me, I love doing some color coordination with my styles. I was also thinking of wearing my yellow mirrored sunnies but then I forgot to bring it. lol!

Did you like my Monday ootd mixing browns and blacks (earth colors) for my fall casual? Will you wear something like this? Let me know your thoughts.

By the way, are you all ready for halloween? I was thinking of only wearing all black and just putting on a cat make up just looking cute. Since it is a week day and work week, I do not have any halloween parties to attend to. We will just take the kids for a trick or treat in the neighborhood.

Okay, we are few weeks away from Spring and I can definitely feel it here in our area. For the past 3 days we have been getting 60’s -70’s weather, I know it is weird and not normal for Winter specially in February but hey I am loving it. So today, I just wanna share to all of you the must haves shoes for Spring and one perfect pair I really found like a gem are these mules. They are just perfect as they are comfy and under $100. Best deal ever!!! I also love the color nude because it goes well together with every outfit I have. I was able to give it a spin due to the Spring like weather.

I am also obsessed with these beauties as well….

Can’t you tell, I am into mules? They are the perfect transition shoes as they provide enough coverage for some chilly days that might be there and still gives you that chic look you need for the season.

How do I Stay Fit without a Gym Membership

Being a mom with a full time day job and a blog on the side. It is really hard to keep up and work out or even go to a gym. It is almost close to impossible at times. But of course I work in the Medical field so I gotta be fit and to also to be a good example to my kids.

So the question I get a lot is How do I stay fit without a gym membership? Honestly, I have my own gym at home but I never really go there and use the equipment. What I do is….

of course I try to eat healthy food as much as I can (this gotta be number one)
As I have been saying before, I have been using the Nike training app and they have all these program you can follow depending on what your goal is. I actually wanna be toned, specially on my mid section.
You have to have a supportive Husband who will actually give you time at least 30 mins to workout and also motivates you. (if you don’t have that… I suggest workout really early or late when the kids are sleep, I use that time to do my blog…)
I use Youtube and follow Ricardo Rodrigues Zumba exercises, it is sooo extreme. I really sweat a lot afterwards.
I use this Zumba workout set . I just do at least one of each each week.

I usually do it at night, all my workout. At least 30 mins and at least 3-4x a week. I just started back again January as I really wanna be toned by Spring. I am looking forward to our up coming trip for Adi’s 7th birthday.

Most of them you already have at home. It is the disciple and staying focus is the hard part. Let’s all be a better us this year.

Simplicity is beauty right? That is what this outfit is all about and all of us I know have tried it. What made this look special is the added bell sleeve style of this light sweater. It made this whole outfit chic and stylish at the same time. This look can be your go too meeting with friends just hanging out with them like a coffee date. You can also never go wrong with those red soles. If you are a fashionista like me, hey you know what I am talking about. Thankful to receive this special gift from hubby. This is a good investment for all fashion lovers as you can wear this dressed up or down.

Also about this Zac Posen hand bag. I know you have been seeing it a lot but it really is handy for all outfits as it match with everything. Casual looks doesn’t have to be boring right? Happy Heart’s month my dearest! Yes, all of you reading this post right now. I have summed up all the cute, chic and stylish stuff for Valentine’s here in this post. Get inspired by all things girly and romantic. With all bad things going on in the news. We have some simple things in life that will still make us smile. Valentines is just around the corner and that is the sweetest time of the year. Where you can see a lot of flowers, hearts, chocolates, cards and the likes. Today I am just sharing this simple, all time classic little black dress that is made perfect for a V day look as I have added pretty pieces with it. I have chosen to incorporate blush pinks in this look to make it subtle and be Valentine’s day inspire look. The black and these light pink combo balances out the whole ensemble.

So if you receive a bouquet of red roses, Viola! Instant Romantic date night look was just made. I cannot emphasize enough that reds and pinks has its romantic touch. This is just a classy casual look easy to create and most likely you probably have these items in your closet.
