Quarantine Series: Patio Makeover

Quarantine Series: Patio Makeover. Making use of this time of not going anywhere by beautifying our patio to make it our new hangout space. Since this stay at home order has been in placed. we have used our energy to work in the house and give it a new look. We cannot go or we don’t want to go anywhere at this time of pandemic so we made use of the time we usually do have when we are busy at work.

Quarantine Series: Beauty Haul for Self Care. What beauty items favorite I got this stay at home moment and why they are a must have.

There are a lot of things we realize during this quarantine period. Like self care, the most important thing that we usually does not invest much time. We have to nourish ourselves, give it rest and beautify it also. One of the things that is a game changer for me here is the Clarins extra firming cream. I apply it on my neck as I have loose skin there. In just few usage it is already showing progress.

I always use different beauty products from drug store items to high end beauty products. I always mix them up especially if they really gives good impact on me. The eyeliner here is so good and ever since I used it I stick with it. The blush and the lipstick is a good combination for me right now. I am into pink this Spring and it feels and looks so refreshing to me.

I just enjoyed the time when I was on isolation and I was so bored so I just got my make up set, nail set and hair care essentials and worked with it. How about you aside for beautifying your home, homeschooling your kids, Spring cleaning and working on storage at home. What else have you invested your time during these times?

Quarantine Series: Life Update and A Giveaway

HEALTHCARE WARRIOR SHIRT

YES, I’M ESSENTIAL SHIRT

Today is my 8th day in isolation for me. I just tested positive and I have covid. As you all know, I am a physical therapist who work in a SNF so I have been exposed. It is really a though job specially these days. I am also heartbroken by our patients being so sick. I am so thankful though that my symptoms are really mild but since I have 3 kids and my mom who has asthma is with us. I had to really isolate myself until the doctor tells me what to do next.

With all that being said, I have realized a lot of things on how blessed I am to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends who always checks on me and prays for me. I have been praying for y’all too as in everybody. We are all in this together right?

Quarantine Series: Comfy Styles at Home. Stuck at home and want to look comfy and cute, then these items here are for you then. I am am essential worker as I am a healthcare worker and only get to wear comfy styles like these all day during weekends. But these would be the clothes I would want to wear when being at home all day. just like this one below here that I am wearing.

If dressing up keep you sane then do it. I know I have been shopping online a lot lately due to the fear of over exposure when outside. This one I am wearing here I worn all day and is super cute as you can see here and little miss Andi looks like she likes it too.

This is also a work from home style that you need if you are not going to meet with your co workers via zoom. This will not be appropriate then for it.

Any other topics you would like me to work on for you here? I know I have not been posting regularly here, it is so hard to keep up working and the kids are home all day. So when I get home I try to make time with them as well.

Quarantine Series: Storage and Organization

Over the weekend, was able to organize at home. I usually work on every Saturday on another facility but then since we have this pandemic I have not been doing it. Now I had that time to organize at home and was able to literally clean the house the way I would want it. This is another good side of this quarantine.

On this sets here, I was able to get the sideboard as shown here…. I truly love it and it was not hard to assemble. Wayfair was on point shipping this because it came after 2 days of ordering it, that I call fast shipping!

As you can see here, I was able to enjoy my Dalgona coffee that we have been obsessed about at home. Also had to wear this romper since I have no where to wear it but home for the next few weeks. might as well look cute in it.

if you will look into my post here on how I decorated the house for the Holidays here, You will notice I already have a lot of built in storage but that seems to be not enough. I do have a lot of stuff that needed to be stored in the right place.

Next up I was able to score this Rug doctor that I have been eyeing for a long time now. It was originally $300 and got it for $99 such a steal. It really did its job on cleaning our carpet. Oh man that one, when you have 3 kids at home, It always needs cleaning. And these days I have been so paranoid since I am a healthcare worker. I have been disinfecting everything.

Life Lately Update this Spring Time

Omg! It is already April 1st, where did March go? Anyways, just checking in on everyone. How is everyone holding on in the situation? As for me, I am still working as I am considered an essential employee as a physical therapist. I am actually scared that I will encounter patients that have the corona virus. I am actually praying for all of us healthcare worker to have the proper PPE to use for us to be able to provide care and safety for everybody around us.

Another thing, the kids are at home because their school is cancelled until April 24th here in Maryland, my husband’s work has been affected by this so he is at home with the kids doing all the home schooling for them while I am at work. When I get home, I make sure I sanitize everything that I wore and touch and go straight to the shower before I touch my precious family. You know, we don’t know where our enemy is the virus. On a good note, we have more bonding time as a family, we actually have a lot of time spending it in the backyard when the weather permits and bike ride in the neighborhood. Also a lot of movie nights and game nights as well. We are also enjoying doing Tiktok and a lot of jamming time as we as a family love music. We actually started doing Friday night live on my personal Facebook and our family and friends are enjoying it. Since my blog is more of fashion and lifestyle, not sure is you all will appreciate it if we do a live on my Instagram.

So as for this pretty outfit here, yes I was able to break this in here in the neighborhood next to my neighbor’s tree here. Since not too many people outside here, I was able to enjoy this shoot with the hubs carefree as you can see here in the picture. This top is true to size and perfect for a high waist jeans like the one I am wearing right now. These Levi’s jeans are so comfy and so obsessed with the cute hem. And still in love with all things Tory Burch bags….

How about you? I wanna hear how everybody is doing. I really pray that is will end soon, I feel so sad that all of us is being affected by this pandemic directly and indirectly if you know what I mean. Cheers! How I did not miss the Cherry Blossom Festival

It was the Cherry Blossom Festival this month here in DC but due to social distancing, they had to close it down so we do not spread the virus. Lucky me, my neighbors who live few houses down me have their very own cherry blossoms. I did not miss it then, what I miss is wearing this dress to church for Easter. But hey, I am not complaining at all. There are always ways to enjoy and have fun. The new normal now is walking in the neighborhood, hanging out at the backyard and a lot of netflix….

So for this dress, as you can see, loving the style and cut. I am a sucker for anything dress so this is one of my favorite this season. I paired it with this pretty pearl headband which actually comes in pack of 4. Also paired it with my current obsessions… this Tory Burch bag which has a sale going on and this pretty Bottega Venetta dupes from boohoo which is under $30.

How I Stay Positive Through all this Pandemic

I just wanna share all my thoughts about the current situation. I know a lot of us is scared and stressed. I may not look like it in my pictures but trust me I feel what everybody is feeling right now. I am scared because I am one of the front liners, scared that I might be exposed and to take it home with me… So I always pray… but this time I pray more…. I make sure I practice good hygiene all the time as in double of what I am already doing. Taking vitamins and exercising regularly to increase immune system.

Stressed because my husband’s work is one that is affected by the current situation and of course we are thinking about it all the time. Right now, at least I know the Government is doing its best to help people who are affected by this. Thankful that I have a job…

I am the type of person who see the glass half full than half empty. I always look into good things than the bad side of things. This is how I stay positive with all the negativity around the world, I think I got this attitude from my dad. If you know me personally, I bet you are one of them who always ask me why I don’t get angry a lot. Why am I always positive…

Here are the positive things this virus has brought us.. Since a lot of us are quarantined. We all learn….

How to be creative at home and share all our precious time with out loved ones.
Streets have less cars decreasing pollution in the air.
A lot of us scared and now just started taking care of ourselves more than ever.
You have showed us who are those people with loving and caring heart amidst this situation.

Outfit from day to Night. Sharing this chic jumpsuit that you can wear day at work and turn it into a fabulous night time look. As you can see this jumpsuit is already classy by itself, depending on your workplace this can be worn as is but for a stricter work environment. You can add a blazer to this and the bag can also be changed depending on your personality.

This shows again my love for jumpsuits and still trying to incorporate it into Spring outfit. The material of this jumpsuit is so soft and it is true to size, the sad thing about this is that it is not available anymore but I have added similar jumpsuits. The concept here is that it is belted just like the belted blazer I have posted the last time. Also loving this one I posted here.

Also, you will see a lot of mirror selfie post for me as it is a must that we be responsible individuals to flatten the curve. As a healthcare professional, we have to be a good example because we are the ones taking care of patients as well as we have to be strong ourselves not to get sick and not to take home the virus in case we carry them around. Staying home and not catching or spreading the virus is what we wanna do so we can all be happy going about to our normal life soon.

I am also working on creating a post for y’all about the things ideas to do while at home. Specially me, having 3 kids, how do we keep them busy.
