MY DRESS/ DESK/ CHAIR

My Home Office Refresh

I have been spending a lot of time creating content in my office. So I gave my home office a refresh by updating my desk and chair. I have been literally sitting down and writing a bunch of content ideas for the blog. Having my previous desk was not motivating me as it is like an old computer table. Check my previous desk on this post. Since we have been updated our living room and dining room. I decided it is also about time to switch up my desk and chair and make it look more of like a Simplychristianne type of furniture.

The desk and the chair was easy to assemble, it took my husband about an hour to finish the desk and about less than an hour for the chair doing it with the kids. lol! I got both the desk and chair from Amazon and they came pretty fast since they were prime. And also they are tax-deductible since you are using them for your business.

I decided to get the white desk with gold metals since it works well with the whole look of my office with white shelves.

I also have a pink bench next to my Bag shelf so I made my desk chair pink as well. Now the whole office is coordinated I might just ave to change the artificial plant here into an olive tree. I have been eyeing on them so much on Amazon.

Now looking at my office gives me all the creative juice to create a lot of good content as I now love what is around me. It gives me a good vibe and it just flows if you notice all my reels on my instagram lately. I have been doing them here in the office because it is too cold outside.

Fun Workout to Try in 2022

WORKOUT DICE 

Try this fun workout to do in 2022. It is called the Dice workout game where you roll the dice and it will tell you what exercises to do. This is a part of my New Year, New you series if you have noticed.  What I love about this workout is that rolling the dice and not knowing what your next moves will be make it so exciting. We were just passing by the dollar spot on Target and saw this. I found a good bunch on Amazon which also shows in a picture how to do the exercises. So if those words are like alien to you like burpees, having those pictures help.

On another note, the activewear I used to film it for reels I posted on my Instagram is this set.

Been wanting to give our House a new look and it is much needed. So here is my Living Room and Dining Room Reveal. We just wanted to update the whole living room and dining room as it has been long overdue. First of all, they were worn out for all those 9 years it served our family. And also we are braver now to get lighter color as we wanted our house to look brighter meaning it will also look spacious.

So what do you think about this transformation? We went for a modern look this time and bought insurance for the couches in case something happens and also added sofa and loveseat cover.

Let me show you the before photos of our living room.

With all the furniture we have here since we moved into our house 9 years ago. This has been our main living room look. I honestly made it look darker as I was thinking since we will be having small kids. If I get light color couch that it will always be a mess. So we opted on the espresso color furniture mostly and also we what we love about this couch and love seat was that we can elevate our legs when we watch movies. It also helped me throughout all my pregnancies.

Here is the new Dining room look…

We still got the 7 piece dining room set but this one is longer than the old one. I am loving the longer version as it doesn’t look crowded when everyone is at the table. Also loving the new color as it looks brighter and it looks good together with our side table.  Below is the old table.. I don’t miss it honestly!

Sharing this quick Halloween cocktail drink I found on Pinterest to try for your Halloween party and it is called Devil’s Margarita.

Ingredients:

1 oz Simple  syrup

1 oz Lime juice

1.5 oz Tequila ( I used the one we bought from Mexico)

.5 oz of your favorite red wine

Pour in some ice cubes in the shaker then tequila, lime juice and simple syrup  and then shake, now pour it to your margarita glass and pour in the red wine slowly.

and viola! There goes your cocktail drink!

This is very delicious and I know your guest will love it.

Now let me talk about the Halloween decoration on my bar cart. They are all from the Dollar store but I also linked up some similar items here for you.

I don’t usually do Halloween decor but when I saw those cute Halloween items and they were only a dollar I told myself why not. They don’t even look like a dollar to me. So I have created this post for you in case you are also like me who doesn’t really do Halloween decor but this post might also convince you.
