Hello everyone! I decided to give a bumpdate for all those new followers and for those who have been following all along. I am currently resting in bed as I was not able to report to work today. Decided to relax because I have been having contractions lately just like yesterday. After church when we were on our way for brunch at the restaurant. I started feeling hard contractions and they were 5 mins apart and it really is pulling on my back and it hurts. It only lasted for close to an hour as it stopped as soon as we got home and I was able to lay in bed. I must be tired I guess because I did some house cleaning earlier in the morning.

Mt thought was maybe baby Andi is getting so excited because she already had 3 baby showers and pretty much all she needs are here. But that is the last thing I want. I want her to be born healthy and reach her full term at birth just like my other two babies. That is why I decided to take another day off because being a Physical therapist as my day job can be exhausting.

I am 5 weeks close to my due date or let us say 3 weeks if she decides to come out on 38 weeks which is also considered full term. We all cannot wait to see her and give her all the love that she deserves. I do have a lot of pregnancy problems.. like my varicose veins coming out (the reason behind me wearing a lot of maxi dresses), back aches, sleepless nights. I can still endure all of them, I just want her to be safe and healthy when she comes out. I just want to air this to all pregnant mommas. We all know that the struggle is real and it is truly a hard work on our part but it is all worth it and very rewarding, I am also happy to have a very supportive husband, kids, family and d=friends around me. I wouldn’t be able to do this on my own. I salute all the single moms out there!

All we can do now is stay calm and keep praying right? Only God knows what is in store for us. Also to read about my two other bumpdates here and here.

I am writing this not to scare anybody who is trying to get pregnant but spread awareness on pregnancy and what it is all about. If pregnancy is that bad. How in the world we are over populated right? lol! kidding aside, being pregnant and becoming a mother is the most wonderful job we can have in the world. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This baby shower was not a surprise so the set up was at our house and my girlfriend Grace organized it for us. We both coordinated on what we wanted to do and it came out good.

We have been looking at a lot of pinterest baby shower ideas and we even looked at youtube on how to do this balloon garland. My kids also helped us out with the balloons set up. This was the highlight of all the decor.

As you can see here, we all had fun. We talked and laughed about a lot of mommy life. We even had an impromptu tea time after I cut the cake. My friend Grace bought the vake from Stellas Bakeshop in Rockville, MD. I have been loving this their cakes. So if you happen to live around there, you might want to visit, highly recommended.

Grace had games lined up but because we really had fun catching up with each other. We forgot about it, I even forgot to give them the party favors.

As for the gifts, I got a lot of items I put up on the Walmart Baby Registry I set up last week.

I just wanna share with all of you our wonderful experience with the Woodloch Resort. I must say it is one of the Best Family destination in the East Coast. I usually do not feel that hospitality here in the US in general but this resort is exceptional. They really made us feel at home and we all enjoyed everything here.

This dress is another amazon find and is super comfy. Also our hats are linked here and here.

This is an all inclusive resort so when you book everything is included. Just like when you are in a crew ship. All activities and amenities are free and we were given 3 meal plan for this trip. This was a gifted complimentary stay but all opinions are my own. I was never asked to make a blog post about this but I just really had to share our fun experience. It is really one for the books!

In case you have not noticed been wearing this Shoppinkblush dress so many times. Adi pool slides here are so cute I wanted to get one for myself.

This is really fun friendly resort! Everyday they will give you a sheet on all the activities they are having that day and they have it all for people of all ages. What we tried were, go karts, skating, magic shows, indoor pools, bump car, petting zoo, pony rides, arts and crafts, bump boats,

I can’t wait when baby Andi is born and a little older. We would like to come back here and 3 days and 2 nights is definitely not enough. I hope I was able to give some family fun ideas for you. They are open all year round. You may start this Summer if you live close by. They are located in Pennsylvania and is right next to Long Island, NY. It was 5 hours drive for us from Southern Maryland.

This is the last leg of my pregnancy before we become a party of five and giving you update about this pregnancy. So if you have been following me on instagram. You probably read how my doctor’s appointment went yesterday.

Update: So I went to the doctor 3 weeks and ago and she said the measurement of my belly was small of the age of gestation. She told me that she will order an ultrasound when the measurement of my belly is still small just to make sure baby measures well. And so it was yesterday, I am just worried that baby haven’t positioned herself yet. The doctor also mentioned that it was probably how baby Andi was positioned. She might still be in breech position, hopefully not. I don’t want to get have a c-section delivery.

On a good note, At least I will get to see her again inside me to make sure everything is okay. Also, I passed all the blood work that was taken last week and I do not have a gestational diabetes. They also gave me a vaccine called DTap Vaccine. It is a new thing as I did not get that from my 2 previous pregnancies. Which is something good that I will know will cover baby Andi from whooping cough. They encourage everybody who will be around the baby to get the vaccine so it means the whole family.

Another positive note, even though my tummy is getting bigger and heavier and it really is a hard time to position myself sleeping at night and getting up to go use the bathroom. I know I am only 3 and half months to go and we’ll get to see our third bundle of joy.

As for this dress, I have been loving a lot of Yumi Kim’s dresses. They are so chic and comfy specially for maternity. I so love all her collections as you can see me wearing a lot of her creations lately. It makes me feel good as we all know that being pregnant can be difficult sometimes as there are a lot of changes happening in a woman’s body.

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! Just sharing some maternity update on you guys that I think you might find helpful if you are experiencing the same thing.

Last week I went to my doctor’s appointment and she did the usual, checked the heartbeat and the movement of baby Andi. They were all good except for the measurement of my belly which she thought was small for its age of gestation. She literally triple checked it and said that if the measurement on my next visit was still small she has to do another ultrasound and see what is going on. That really scared me and I did share the news to my co worker. She told me it was the same thing for here because her baby was breech.

That it ringed a bell, because when we did the anatomy scan ultrasound, baby Andi was breech. So it seems like she hasn’t turned yet. My daughter Adi(my first born was the same but she turned so both my first 2 babies were both vaginal deliveries. And as I was reading about breech delivery, it has to be c-section if the baby is in breech position.

So then I googled it more and found some exercises to do to make the baby turn and hopefully it works, There are some bridging exercise and cat and camel positions that I can do at least 15 mins a day.

So i will let you all know when I get to see the doctor by the end of this month. Also I am due for the glucose screening next week and hopefully I did not acquire a gestational diabetes. I really have to be very fit so It will be as easy as when I gave birth with Aidan. I was really exercising then and walking a lot. It really made a difference.

Here comes Mother’s Day this weekend and a lot of people have been saying it is another expensive Holiday because you have to give gift. But to me, if a person is that special to you, you really do not care about it that much. There is also a time when you are tight in budget so here are some special way to celebrate Mother’s Day for mom.

1. Cook your mom’s favorite dish and eat with her. Now a days, a lot of people rarely hang out with their mother’s that much special when you start working. This is a gift of giving time and effort.
2. If your mom loves to workout. Go with her and join her doing her workout routine. Working out is so fun specially when you are with someone special.
3. If you know how to do arts and crafts. Most of the treasures in life cannot be bought like making her a bracelet. Check out what my Adi made for me for Mother’s day on my IG story.
4. Frame your most treasured photos together and give it to here. She will definitely be touched by it.
5. Give her a hand massage as most moms are always tired doing a lot of different things in and out of the house.
6. If you know how to draw, make a sketch of your mom and frame it.

I used to do a lot of this specially when I was younger. When I did not have money of my own. But I can really see how much they appreciate those gifts because it came from the heart and they know how much time and effort you invested creating those special gifts.

As a mom now, What melts my heart are those small things my children do for me like. When they know I am tired and they give me a minute of foot massage. Giving me flowers that they picked from the Garden. Preparing a glass of water at bedside because they Know I need it.

Simple gestures that as a mom, You will always treasure it forever in your heart. so don’t feel bad if you cannot afford to buy mom gifts. More so when you are capable of buying expensive gifts but is willing to give more of your time and effort to make your mom feel special on this Mother’s Day.
