As promised, here is the Update on My Closet/Office which was on instastory last week and many of you responded yes to cover this on a blog post, so here is the before and after. The pictures above is the after and I will show the link on the post I did last year for the before photos and how it looked like last time.

I did not do any major changes but having this accent chair and added these hat collection on the wall made a huge difference. It was easy to hang on the wall, I used these command strip hooks so I won’t ruin our wall.

I also added the white shoe rack because I accumulated more shoes this time and needed extra shoe rack for them. I am now on the hunt to find a new chair for my desk here. I also added these alumitiles on the wall for my inspiration when I am creating content.

So now let me show you the link to the first post on my closet/office here to see the before and be the judge on how it turned out with the added update. What do you think of my interior designing skills here. Did you like what I added to my closet/office to make it more chic and lovelier to the eye. The new look makes me stay here longer and the accent chair I can use to sit on now that I have baby Andi. We can both hangout here while I am breastfeeding her.

Also stay tuned to the post for tomorrow for breastfeeding. Calling all the mommies and mom-to-be to check out that post.

Thank you so much for stopping and see you tomorrow here.

Christianne

I have been looking forward to this moment sharing to all of you my extended closet/blog office reveal. Why did I call it as such? Because what you can see here are some of my favorite shoes and handbags that I really worked hard for to save so I can buy them, it took years for me to have this much stuff. So much of those explanations…

So this part of the house (spare room) has not been touched for a long time. It was an office of the previous owner and they were book shelves. I took the opportunity to turn it into my closet. This is every girly girls dream I should say. My sister in law was joking about it calling me a celebrity. It just so happen that our house already has these built in cabinets and we just repainted them added a chic bench and voila! It turned out really nice and this is were I get my inspiration and do my blog work. Wouldn’t you be inspired if you will be working creating your fashion blog post in this room?

I am also so lucky to have a very supportive husband and plus my father in law is here to help us remodel and re paint pretty much the whole house. Stay tuned on the next post as I will show you our basement living room and Mini Bar.

Another trend that I have been thinking of trying to wear are the balloon sleeves top and embroidered jeans.
There are so many beautiful Spring trends that really excites me and looking forward to trying on myself and showing off to you guys. If you also noticed that frayed hem jeans is also here. Firstly, don’t miss the stunning Cherry Blossoms in Washington, DC. The beautiful flowers are in full bloom and it’s the perfect time to visit the Botanic Garden. But if you’re lucky enough to have warmer weather, hit the beach and soak up the sun!

For those looking to satisfy their wanderlust, why not visit a new city? There are plenty of spring festivals happening all over the country, so it’s the perfect time to explore somewhere new and exciting.

Feeling cooped up after a long winter? Get some exercise and enjoy the great outdoors by going biking. It’s a great way to get some fresh air and start working on your summer body. Plus, it’s a fantastic cardio workout.

As the weather gets warmer, it’s the ideal time to gather your friends and family and have a backyard BBQ. It’s a great way to catch up and enjoy the beautiful weather.

And finally, don’t forget to refresh your wardrobe. Pack away those winter coats and update your closet with some new spring and summer styles. This is also a great time to donate any clothes that you no longer wear. With these activities in mind, go out and enjoy the season to the fullest!

Chic Spring Blouses from Amazon

SHOP THE POST:

Spring Blouses under $25 on Amazon, Sharing all things lovely with sweet price tag to make sure you have everything in your closet. In case you missed other spring blouses I shared earlier, check them out here.

I was just amazed how I found all this beautiful pieces on Amazon. I just wish I can just add to cart them all. It is so selfish of me if I will not share these good finds to all of you. You can probably snag a lot of pieces from here I bet.

Those statement sleeves are just so perfect, if you ask me which one is my favorite, I would say the hot pink one and the tie dyed one. They are just so chic and perfect for the new pants and shoes I just bought. These are perfect for everyday casual you will just have to switch accessories to wear them different ways.

I personally love blouses like this. My style I must say is a lot more girly girly but typically if I will just go to the grocery stores, I would be in my joggers or leggings mostly and some T-shirt or sweatshirt.

This blouse are just another trend that should be making a hit this coming Spring! The colors and the styles are just so lovely you will not be able to resist on shopping for them.

Let me know what other topics you would want me to cover here on the blog so I can better serve you all. Wishing you all a lovely week ahead and thank you so much for stopping by.

So today I am sharing these 3 must-have women’s winter coats under $100. I scored them during the cyber week and they are still on sale. The teddy coat and the red winter jacket prices went down $2 each from how much I got them from. The quilted jacket price went up but still under $100. I can swear by boohoo products as I love buying outerwear from them. They are true to size, good quality and you will always be on trend, they are also reliable in shipping. Their Items come from the UK so normal shipping is about a week but they also offer expedited shipping which is pretty cool!

SHOP THE POST:

Brown Teddy Coat

Let me start off with this brown teddy coat. It is under $60 and oh it is so warm, true to size and can be work over your casual outfits or even with year dressy outfits for your winter parties. I am 5’6″ for reference and it is just the perfect length and the material is so soft. It was cold when we were shooting this but it gave me the warmth that I needed. Make sure to add one of these to your closet. I have worn other similar boohoo teddy coat here in the past.

One of my favorite things about this coat is how easy it is to style. In this outfit, I styled it with a casual print tee, black leggings, and my adorable chelsea boots. You’ll also see I added some complimentary accessories, my black beanie, black luxury purse, and sunglasses. Go with a similar look, or make one of your own. Either way, you will be very stylish in this coat.

You can never go wrong with this coat and plus the color goes with pretty much everything. This one is for keeps!

SHOP THE POST:

Red Quilted Jacket

In cold weather, you will need at least one good puffer jacket. This one is warm and I’m loving the pops of color in this dreadful Winter season. Winter does not mean wearing all black all the time, so I love to add color when I can. I have gotten a red jacket from boohoo before as well and posted it here. For this look, I added a plain black tee and denim blue jeans with a frayed edge. Again, I added my chelsea boots and sunglasses to complete the look. And I also added these cute pearl earrings.

Let me also tell you about this cool sherpa UGG bag, it can be used as a crossbody bag and a belt bag. I love that it is so versatile because I can really take it anywhere. It’s perfect for those busy days running errands. The neutral color matches everything and it has just enough room to hold my essentials. Phone, keys, passport, earbuds, and more.

SHOP THE POST:

Quilted Brown Coat

I love a good trench coat and when it comes to women’s winter coats, you will want at least one trench coat in your wardrobe this season. They are very trendy right now and the extra length is beneficial for providing a little bit of extra warmth. This one is lightweight for less harsh days and I love the neutral color as it goes with everything. This is technically a padded jacket, even though the padding is not as big and bulky as other coats you usually see in winter.

For this winter outfit, I paired a plain black tee with the neural trench coat and neutral winter boots. They matched perfectly! I also added my black bag, sunglasses, and pearl earrings. And to add a touch of color, I wore red lips and nails. LOVE! This outfit is perfect for brunch with the girls, date night, and even just when you are out and about.

Tips for finding coats under $100:

  1. If you’re in need of a new winter coat, start by shopping sales. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and around holidays are usually the best time to score good deals at department stores and online retailers.
  2. Use the filter button. On most online retail sites, there will be a filter you can choose to search products within a certain price range. Set the filter to under $100 and get shopping.
  3. Don’t sacrifice quality for price. Yes, it always feels good to get a good deal, but only if the product is actually worth it. When it comes to coats, they must keep you warm. This means you can not sacrifice quality for price. If you can not find a quality coat under $100 where you are shopping, consider another retailer. Coats come in all shapes, sizes, and prices and with a little digging you are sure to find the coat that is right for you.
  4.  Sign up for email newsletters for your favorite brands. When you sign-up for newsletters, you are usually notified of a sale before everyone else that is not signed up. When you get an email that a sale is approaching, go ahead and pick out your favorite coats and be ready to get the reduced rate when the sale finally starts. This will help ensure you do not miss out on getting your size and the good deal you deserve.
What winter coats under $100 are you into this season?

Styles change every season, but if one thing is for sure, you will always need a good winter coat during the cold weather. But this doesn’t mean you have to break the bank trying to find the most expensive option out there. I hope this quick roundup of winter jackets under $100 helps you find the right style for you at the right budget.

Do you have a new winter jacket that you scored for under $100? Tell me all about it below! And while you’re here, feel free to tell me all about your winter plans as well! I can not wait to hear from you!

Best Matching Sweat Suit Sets

*This post may contain affiliate links, which means I may receive a small commission at no cost to you, if you make a purchase through any links*

Best Matching Sweat Suit Sets

MATCHING SET/ CLOUD SLIPPERS

Best Matching Sweat Suit Sets

Fall is coming and I’m sharing some of the best matching sweat suit sets to get you started for the cozy vibes. This style has surged in popularity in recent years, especially during the pandemic as everybody was just staying home. Sweat suits are great as stay-home staples and also makes a chic streetwear. It is comfortable to wear whether you are working from home, running errands, etc. What I like about these sets is they take minimal effort to put together, and how they come in different styles to suit every fashion preference and personality.

I have tried different sweatsuit sets in different fabrics, styles and prints….

MATCHING SET/ CLOUD SLIPPERS

The one on top is a little on a thicker material and will be perfect for colder weather; lounging inside the house or using it outdoors to run errands or also as an airport, same use as the one on the picture below. There is a slight difference between the two in terms of the softness of the material. The black set below is super soft like a French Terry type compared to the orange set.

Best Matching Sweat Suit Sets for fall

TRACKSUIT

TRACKSUIT

I also love this second set for its added color blocking design. The black, white, and pink work together perfectly together to create a neutral, yet chic look. But I can tell you they are both the matching set and the tracksuit are comfortable to wear to any occasion.

HALF ZIP TRACK SUIT

This is one for all of you that enjoy exercising outside during the fall and winter seasons. This half-zip tracksuit comes in pink and black. I like both colors, but in general I think the pink is more versatile for other excursions like running errands or shopping.

COTTON FLEECE SWEAT SUIT

Typically used for exercising and working out, especially during colder months, classic cotton fleece sweat suits can easily double as street style. You can mix and match colors, or stick to the monochrome look. Monochrome is trending this year, and it is clear to see why. I linked an adorable sky blue hoodie sweat set from Burlington’s, but you can also find cotton sweat suits with a crewneck instead.

KNIT PULLOVER SHORTS SET

KNIT PULLOVER SET

KNIT PULLOVER SET

And here is another set if you are looking for something that is not a jogger but shorts. I love the ribbed texture of this set, same as the other two, it is also comfortable and holds up pretty well. All of them are good quality material, true to size and all have a lot of color options to choose from. They are cute girlfriend collective pieces, some are organic cotton. So who will not love to own a few pairs of matching sets right?

SHERPA SWEAT SUIT

I love a good sherpa sweat suit. Simple, classic, and most importantly warm. I you enjoy lounging in style, I recommend keeping at least one sherpa sweat suit in your closet at all times. My favorite colors of the sherpa sweat suit I linked above are white, camel, turquoise, and light pink. These colors are so cute and so versatile. I also really love this version of the sherpa sweat suit with shorts.

VELOUR SWEAT SUIT

It is not a true velour sweat suit or track suit unless it comes from Juicy Couture. Juicy sweat suits never go out of style as long as you know when and where to style them. I especially like the Juicy track suits in grey, pink, and army green.

How To Style A Sweatsuit Set

Add Neutral Heels

White, black, tan, camel, and grey are all good colors to pair with sweat suits. Grab a pair of strappy heels, and immediately elevate your outfit.

Go All Out Sporty

Complete the sporty look by adding tennis shoes and a bucket bag. This is perfect for running errands and/or exercising.

Add A Belt Bag

Belt bags are trending this year. Further compliment the already sporty look by adding some classic sneakers and a belt bag.

Rock The Monochrome Look

Monochrome outfits are trending this year, and they do not appear to be going out of style anytime soon. Wear a matching sweatshirt and sweatpants for a classic, classy, and on-trend look.

Mix And Match

Instead of matching, you can also mix and match sweatshirts and sweatpants to diversify your looks. Just remember to choose complimentary colors.

Add A Trench Coat

Trench coats and sweat suits make the perfect street wear style. I love it. You can even add a baseball cap to further develop the style and add to the casual outfit. Pair this off-white trench coat with a colored sweat suit.

Throw On A Wool Coat

You can elevate almost any outfit by simply adding a wool coat. This is an especially good idea if you live in a colder area where fall and winter weather is harsh.

Give Parisian Vibes

In this case, I don’t mean Emily in Paris. I mean Paris Hilton. Add some glam to your sweat suit outfit by adding custom jewellery, matching heels, and an adorable handbag of course.

Go Bold With Colored Heels

You don’t have to completely rock the Paris Hilton look, but you can still go bold with bright colored heels. For the most stylish look, grab heels that match your sweat suit perfectly. One color, head to toe.

Add A Pair Of Boots

While it might not seem stylish now, adding a pair of boots to your sweat suit outfit and really take it to the next level. But not just any boots, only combat boots, chelsea boots, or doc marten style boots.

Loungewear sets are the best investment pieces in your wardrobe if you are looking into having a comfy wardrobe pieces.

They have so many options to choose from like a zip hoodie, relaxed fit, crop top, tie dye and wide leg! Below I will add some sets for women so you’ll have a lot of options to choose from to add to your closet.

I will definitely snag another set for our trip to Los Angeles next month! Also, I might try mixing and matching them to add more styles to it! I am actually eyeing on the wide leg pants set. It looks super chic at night at the hotel, major lounging vibe!

The tie dye style is more of like the Summer around the house feel and like around Spring time kinda style for me. I feel like it gives a lot of those happy Spring to Summer statements with it.

The zip hoodies are a cool option too and will make you add a top inside making it even better. Making the look more versatile!

Christianne

Trend Alert: Coated Denim Jeans

Trend Alert: Coated Denim Jeans

SHOP THE POST:

COATED DENIM JEANS/ TURTLENECK SWEATER/ SUNGLASSES

Trend Alert: Coated Denim Jeans

What Are Coated Jeans?

It is your basic denim jeans that are coated with pigment to give them a wax-like finish. As you can see on the jeans I was wearing here, it looks like a faux leather material. But I must say it is more breathable and is perfect for Fall weather. The wax-like finish gives it shine and looks so elegant and expensive. It will definitely level up your denim jeans game. This outfit I put together here looks more like a Business casual pairing it with this super soft turtleneck sweater and the classic animal print shoes, you can never go wrong with it.

If you want a more casual look for like date nights a romantic blouse will do the work and ankle boots, but for running errands, you can pair it with sneakers and a regular sweater on top or a hoodie if you want. See more tips for how to style coated jeans below!

How To Style Coated Jeans

Add some texture.

Coated pants have a slightly shiny texture that looks amazing when paired other textures. Especially leather, wool, cashmere, and overall anything furry or cozy. This is one of the main reasons why coated pants are so great for the Fall and Winter seasons. When it comes to creating coated jeans outfit ideas, you can never go wrong with more texture.

Go for an oversized sweater.

For a casual, yet still chic and thoughtful look, wear coated jeans with an oversized sweater. Whether your coated jeans are high rise skinny, straight or flare, you can feel confident in this balanced and comfy look. Again, it’s all in the textures. Add a statement necklace and boots to dress this look up or some sneakers to keep it casual.

Tuck in a blouse or collard shirt.

This is an especially good styling tip for high-waisted coated jeans. Grab a nice blouse, turtleneck, bodysuit, or collard shirt and tuck into your pants. Then, add a matching belt and handbag and you’re ready to take on the day. Black coated jeans, especially black coated skinny jeans, look amazing with a sheer white button-down and a black leather jacket.

Tuck in a graphic tee.

If you enjoy a look with more edge from time to time, consider tucking in a graphic tee. Pair with a cute shajacket, a handbag for a pop of color, and your favorite tennis shoes or sneakers for a casual outfit. Perfect for everything from running errands to brunch with the girls.

Dress them up.

With this type of denim you can dress up and dress down, you can also pair it with a blazer, fitted long-sleeve shirts, or a pretty blouse and can be worn with different types of shoes. You can also get these jeans in so many different colors and here are some of my favorites. They are at different price points 2 are under $50 and the other 2 are under $100.

I am loving the red-brown color as you can see that is the color I chose but pretty much all of them look very chic. I believe that this trend is here to stay and is going to be a classic staple for Fall. Be sure to have one in your closet adding another good item to your Fall wardrobe. If you are looking for another Fall trend to follow check this post here.

Or dress them down.

Rather than grabbing a blouse or blazer, go for a dressed down look. Think oversized sweaters, denim shirts, cozy sweater dresses, longer flannel dresses, and more. I am loving the brown coated jeans for Fall, but black skinny coated jeans are at the top of my list as well. Luckily, you can wear black coated jeans with almost everything you can wear brown coated jeans with.

You can never have too many pairs of coated jeans.

Not only are coated jeans comfy and softer than other jeans I’ve tried before, they are also very on trend right now. The best part is, you don’t have to break the bank to pick up a pair (or two!). Shop the outfit above!

Our Stay at Tommie Hollywood (Review)

Tommie Hollywood ReviewTommie Hollywood Room ReviewSharing a review of our stay at Tommie Hollywood to see if this is the right fit for your trip to Los Angles, California. So I booked this hotel because it was within the budget and liked the photo on the internet and specially the location were everything is walking distance to the tourist spots. Checking in was easy easy!

Our Stay at Tommie Hollywood (Review)

THE ROOM:

The room did not disappoint, I was thinking it will be small, but it was a perfect size for a couple. They do not have a closet for clothes but their bed has those drawers to put your clothes and a hook for a few clothes to hang. The bathroom is a decent size and we also love the aesthetic, they have toiletries included the basics. The bed is comfy and we love the view of our room, we were located at the back of the hotel though.

LOCATION:

The hotel is 45 minutes away from LAX, not bad at all and they have a Valet parking on site for our rental car. The location is really great and truly a walking distance to a lot of tourist spots (Hollywood walk of fame) and restaurants. You can actually se the Hollywood sign from the Hotels rooftop bar.

Hollywood walk of fame

AMENITIES:

Tommie Hollywood pool

The rooftop pool is open but it was Fall and it gets cold in the morning and night so not sure if anybody was able to use it for swimming during the warm afternoon but it was gorgeous.

Tommie Hollywood rooftop bar

They have this rooftop bar were as some online reviews saying that it was loud at night that they cannot sleep due to the roof top party. Maybe their room is right below the bar because we did not hear any of the party music in our room. They were having parties back to back when we were there (Halloween Parties!) because it was the Halloween weekend.

Tommie Hollywood restaurant

They have their own restaurant and it looks really good. We just did not want to eat there as we want to explore what is around the area. They serve Mexican food in their restaurant here.

black and white outfit at hotel lobby

I love the lobby, it looks so chic and comfy with the fireplace, lovely interior design! They do have a snack bar at the lobby, we just did not get to use it, supposed to be free snack and coffee in the morning as they did not have enough staff during our stay as noted by the receptionist. They do have a mini convenience store on the side for quick bites and an ATM machine inside.

Another quick note, if you do have a rental car, it is so expensive to do the valet parking aside from the Valet parking feee there is an extra something fee I noticed during my check out when you use that service. Overall experience was good and will highly recommend, the staff were also very friendly and helpful! Check out our 4 Day Southern California Itinerary.
