There are so many ways to transition your Summer dresses into Fall dresses. Take it from me, who loves wearing dresses all Summer long. The idea is to make your dresses work for Fall without feeling cold and still looking great.

The concept is to add all the Fall essentials you already own and is readily available in your closet. With this dress I could wear it over the knee boots, ankle boots or just plain flat shoes. Also I can add a denim jacket, leather jacket and a wool hat. You can pretty much do it to all these dresses I have covered here.

Also, pay attention to the once that are on sale like this first and last dress here. That is also the reason why I posted this today on Labor Day! It is all about the sales baby.

Chic Romper for a Picnic Outfit

SHOP THE LOOK:

MINKPINK ROMPER HERE IS THE DRESS VERSION

WHITE SHOES SIMILAR HERE

TARGET STRAW HAT

CROCHET BAG

Chic Romper for a Picnic Outfit, loving this print that it makes me smile even though I know Summer is coming close to an end. I also love that this romper has a room for my midsection as I still have a little bit of postpartum belly. There is a plenty of space for me to move around, if you know me. I love me some rompers and jumpsuits. Even though it takes a little of my time when using the bathroom. But hey, we don’t go to that bathroom very often i=so for me it is not a big deal.

Also, as I have mention above, this romper has a mini dress version and it is actually cheaper than getting the romper. This is a perfect look and you can always transition this style into fall by wearing a Fall hat, a long cardigan and an ankle boots.

Baby Andi will be 3 weeks tomorrow and we are savoring the nice weather and before back to school for the kids while we still can. I kinda miss this Summer because I was very pregnant, not complaining just saying. We kinda plan it like this anyway. I always want to have Spring or Summer babies so they are still good with the school cut off with the age.

How about you guys, what are your last few days of Summer look like. Any last minute Summer getaway before the school starts, check out this post for a beach must have or any Labor Day weekend getaway? I should’ve named this outfit Labor Day weekend Look.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you again on the next Blog post. My Blog post schedule is still erratic, please bear with this new mama again 🙂

Today is supposed to be Andi’s due date instead she decided to come out 2 weeks early and can’t complain. We are so happy to spend 2 extra weeks with her. All the sleepless nights and waking up breastfeeding, pumping milk in addition to formula feeding as I am doing mix were all worth it. I am glad I can produce milk and be able to breastfeed and this time it is a little more than what I produced during Aidan’s time.

Since it is National Breastfeeding Awareness month. I wanted to share all the items I swear by that really helped me with all my breastfeeding needs. In case you missed my post last month on the Walmart baby registry here. The breast pump was truly a life saver, It was easy to use. You can shop everything here at Walmart. I also recommend you getting disposable nursing pads. You don’t want your breast milk to leak so this is a must. Another life saver is this Lansinoh Lanolin cream to soothe the soreness of your nipples.

It is truly a rewarding feeling to be able to breastfeed your own child. It has always been a struggle for me as I do not produce a lot that is why I always ended up mixing it with formula. It would have been better if it is purely breast milk as it is healthier and cheaper right?

I am glad that we have all these items handy and ready to ship with through Walmart. Specially now that I just want to pretty much stay at home and just shop in just one click and just wait for it to be shipped.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you got something useful from this mother of 3.

As promised, here is the Update on My Closet/Office which was on instastory last week and many of you responded yes to cover this on a blog post, so here is the before and after. The pictures above is the after and I will show the link on the post I did last year for the before photos and how it looked like last time.

I did not do any major changes but having this accent chair and added these hat collection on the wall made a huge difference. It was easy to hang on the wall, I used these command strip hooks so I won’t ruin our wall.

I also added the white shoe rack because I accumulated more shoes this time and needed extra shoe rack for them. I am now on the hunt to find a new chair for my desk here. I also added these alumitiles on the wall for my inspiration when I am creating content.

So now let me show you the link to the first post on my closet/office here to see the before and be the judge on how it turned out with the added update. What do you think of my interior designing skills here. Did you like what I added to my closet/office to make it more chic and lovelier to the eye. The new look makes me stay here longer and the accent chair I can use to sit on now that I have baby Andi. We can both hangout here while I am breastfeeding her.

Also stay tuned to the post for tomorrow for breastfeeding. Calling all the mommies and mom-to-be to check out that post.

Thank you so much for stopping and see you tomorrow here.

First Postpartum Style

First Postpartum Style

SHOP THE LOOK:

NORDSTROM RACK MIDI DRESS

GIGI NEW YORK BUCKET BAG c/o

STEVE MADDEN SANDALS (OLD) SIMILAR HERE

First Postpartum Style in a non maternity dress and trying out how it looks like with the post baby belly and how I made it work. It has always been a struggle for me to look and feel good after having a baby. I am not gifted with a body who only grows their belly and maintain the size of the other body parts. In this pregnancy, I gained about 37 lbs so I know my body really changed a lot and I gained so many inches on all of my extremities and also still have that post baby belly.

So I got this dress here before I gave birth hoping it will fit good. I tried it on and honestly it really did not zip good at the back. This dress is not stretchy at all so I did not have a room for the excess inches as I ordered my usual medium size.

But I was able to make it work by adding a safety pin at the back. I will still keep this dress as I know in few weeks time my belly will shrink and will be able to wear this good. Another reason why I am keeping this is the color is perfect for a Fall dress. We are closely transitioning to Fall in few weeks time so I made sure I am investing in something I can wear longer.

So for all the mamas out there like me who struggle with post baby belly. You are not alone and it is normal to have them. Let us all give our body time to recover as we carry our precious baby for 9 months and it was not a joke. I also understand we wanted to look and feel good. We can all make it work right? I also do miss my pregnant belly sometimes as I thought about this dress I posted here.

I hope I was able to give some inspiration to all of you here. Thank you for stopping by. I know I have been MIA for a while doing blog post as being a Full time employee by day and being a mom of 3 and wife takes a lot of my time so trying to insert some time to make this blog post. I still want to keep this other passion of mine.

See you again next time.

Happy Monday! I am finally back and on the positive note I am sharing Monday powerful quotes to start the week. I have been out for a week as I have been busy with family and a lot of things needed to be done for baby And’s arrival in few weeks. I have also been so tired as you all know I work full time as a physical therapist in the morning. So making content is a part time job for me.

So for all of you here is for a good start of this week….

“The secret to happiness is to count your blessings while others are adding up their troubles.” -unknown

“Two things prevent us from happiness; living in the past and observing others.” -curiano.com

“Strength doesn’t come from what you can do, strength comes from overcoming the things you thought you couldn’t.” -unknown

“When life puts you in though situations, don’t say “why me” say “try me”.” – thegoodvibe.co

“The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.” – Tony Robbins

35 Weeks Bumpdate

35 Weeks Bumpdate

SHOP THE LOOK:

SUSANA MONACO NAVY MAXI DRESS SIMILAR HERE

AMAZON OVERSIZED FLORAL EARRINGS

STEVE MADDEN WHITE SANDALS (OLD) SIMILAR HERE

O BAG HANDBAG (bought in Italy 2017) SIMILAR HERE

Hello everyone! I decided to give a bumpdate for all those new followers and for those who have been following all along. I am currently resting in bed as I was not able to report to work today. Decided to relax because I have been having contractions lately just like yesterday. After church when we were on our way for brunch at the restaurant. I started feeling hard contractions and they were 5 mins apart and it really is pulling on my back and it hurts. It only lasted for close to an hour as it stopped as soon as we got home and I was able to lay in bed. I must be tired I guess because I did some house cleaning earlier in the morning.

Mt thought was maybe baby Andi is getting so excited because she already had 3 baby showers and pretty much all she needs are here. But that is the last thing I want. I want her to be born healthy and reach her full term at birth just like my other two babies. That is why I decided to take another day off because being a Physical therapist as my day job can be exhausting.

I am 5 weeks close to my due date or let us say 3 weeks if she decides to come out on 38 weeks which is also considered full term. We all cannot wait to see her and give her all the love that she deserves. I do have a lot of pregnancy problems.. like my varicose veins coming out (the reason behind me wearing a lot of maxi dresses), back aches, sleepless nights. I can still endure all of them, I just want her to be safe and healthy when she comes out. I just want to air this to all pregnant mommas. We all know that the struggle is real and it is truly a hard work on our part but it is all worth it and very rewarding, I am also happy to have a very supportive husband, kids, family and d=friends around me. I wouldn’t be able to do this on my own. I salute all the single moms out there!

All we can do now is stay calm and keep praying right? Only God knows what is in store for us. Also to read about my two other bumpdates here and here.

I am writing this not to scare anybody who is trying to get pregnant but spread awareness on pregnancy and what it is all about. If pregnancy is that bad. How in the world we are over populated right? lol! kidding aside, being pregnant and becoming a mother is the most wonderful job we can have in the world. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Thank you for stopping by!

Simply,

Christianne

WALMART BAR CART

This baby shower was not a surprise so the set up was at our house and my girlfriend Grace organized it for us. We both coordinated on what we wanted to do and it came out good.

We have been looking at a lot of pinterest baby shower ideas and we even looked at youtube on how to do this balloon garland. My kids also helped us out with the balloons set up. This was the highlight of all the decor.

As you can see here, we all had fun. We talked and laughed about a lot of mommy life. We even had an impromptu tea time after I cut the cake. My friend Grace bought the vake from Stellas Bakeshop in Rockville, MD. I have been loving this their cakes. So if you happen to live around there, you might want to visit, highly recommended.

Grace had games lined up but because we really had fun catching up with each other. We forgot about it, I even forgot to give them the party favors.

As for the gifts, I got a lot of items I put up on the Walmart Baby Registry I set up last week.

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you all to have a wonderful week ahead.

My Walmart Baby Registry

My Walmart Baby Registry

SHOP THE ITEMS HERE:

ONE/ TWO/ THREE/ FOUR/ FIVE/ SIX/ SEVEN/ EIGHT/ NINE/ TEN

Sharing all things baby essentials here on the blog today. Whew it has been 6 years already and I feel like I am starting all over again. Most of Aidan’s baby stuff have been given away or donated and plus most of it cannot be used by baby Andi anyway.

Let me tell you about all the stuff I had before with my other two that I truly a must have. Of course we have to have those big items like this crib and the 3 in 1 travel system. So for all the mamas to be specially the new moms, these has to be on your list.

I am so glad to share that Walmart just launched their new personalized baby registry this year. It was very easy to use and I am truly impressed in all the baby essentials they have there. They already have it tailored for you but of course you can remove or delete Items depending on your need. It was really an easy set up!

On my registry here, these mostly the only items I lack as I have received some baby items already. My co workers already threw a baby shower for me and tomorrow I have another one from my friends from Northern Maryland. With my first two children I had 3 baby showers for each of them. I guess because we have a lot of family friends around.

All of the items I have on this list I swear by as they are very good products and they are tried and tested by me. I have used them for Adi and Aidan before like this very useful breast pump. It was really helpful and easy to use.

Also in case you missed any of my bumpdate.. here is the recent one as I am currently on my 33rd week. I am getting there!

Thank you for stopping by and see you again next week.

Simply,

Christianne
