Flowy Black Dress

As I was checking out my closet, because I have so many black dresses. I overlooked this one. This dress was given to me by my sister in law probably a year or 2 years ago, I cannot even remember.

It still looks brand new and it is such a nice flowy dress to wear this summer even if it is black. The fabric is so soft and you can tell from the picture that I enjoyed playing with it. It was bought in one of the fashion boutique in the Philippines. I believe all ladies should get a dress like this, you can turn this to an elegant evening dress just change the shoes to a strappy heels and you can change the clutch too.

Happy Tuesday! Sharing my weekend outfit to all of you. It says in all, simple just like how my blog is named.

I was in the mood of wearing a skinny jeans, this is like the skinny jeans I was wearing the last time but different color. It was so hot so I chose to wear this chiffon shirt. I only has to add a long purple necklace to add some color to it. I added an ankle strapped sandals to also make the outfit chic. And paired my LV speedy was a no brainer.

It is was a lovely Sunday morning, the sun finally came out and stayed for the rest of the day. I have noticed that it has been raining pretty much everyday, Lately. So to complete this beautiful day. I thought on putting on this 3 simple combo outfits in light colors, perfect for the summer heat.

If you are just looking for a simple outfit but want to add some spice in it. You can rock it by wearing pointed heels, but if you are not into heels, put on a pointed toe flat shoes. Those type of shoes makes your legs long longer and sexy. And an outfit is just an outfit, it is how you carry it that will make it extraordinary… Walk with confidence!

Since I started doing this blog, I just unleashed more of my inner fashionista in me. Trying out new styles that I thought will not look good on me. Just like this style that I wore for a happy hour.

It was a nice day so I asked my husband if we can go to a happy hour/date night. I also have been thinking of the National Harbor since that morning. And thought about Redstone American Grill, they have a gorgeous view while your sipping your margarita.

Let me get back to the outfit 🙂 I thought about wearing shorts because of the summer heat and the statement tee. I also got this shoes, that my friends aunt gave me. When I first saw it I already fell in love with it. Even more when I tried it on, so comfortable! It is an Italian shoes, and I must say I have Italian shoes and I love them all! The materials they use are just so perfect for my feet. They are really worth the price!

The funny thing about this shoes is that it is a hand me down. My friends aunt was wearing it, so when I saw it on her. I gave her a compliment, I couldn’t help it the shoes looks good on her. Then she asked me to try it on. I got so shy but I did. She told me she has two of them, the other one is a nude color. She told me if it fits me and I can have it. I was like, no auntie, you don’t have to…. But it did fit me well, she liked it on me. So she left it to my friend before she flew back to Italy.

Sorry, I had to talk about the story behind the shoes.

Last Sunday, my Family and I attended our friends christening for their first born, Lucas. Since it will be a church event before the party. I have decided to wear this nice floral dress. I had it since last year and it looks perfect for this celebration.

Since it has different colored flowers on it. I paired it with my red pumps and handbag. I already wore this outfit once last year and paired it with blue pumps because it also has blue flowers on it.

I really love this look, very appropriate for church because it has sleeves on and length is just above the knee. Perfect for the occasion. So if you are planning to attend a baptism and want to dress up. This look works.

Here is one of my favorite dress for this month of July. When I was browsing the website sheinside. I already fell in love with it. And when I got it in the mail and got to try it on. I loved it even more.

This color is so bold that it gives me a feeling of confidence in myself. Sometimes, an outfit also shows our personality.

This dress can be worn on an evening cocktail party. And you know we have lot of those this summer. I just had to pair it with my ankle strapped heels and viola! this look becomes so chic. It looks fancy but not too expensive. The whole outfit cost was less than $100.

Happy First of July Everyone! Let us start this month right. To begin with, I thought of striped maxi dress that can be worn for the 4th of July, you just have to add a touch red. It maybe your nail polish or accessories. As for me, I put on the red nail polish to complete the look.

It is not a typical 3 colored red, white and blue thing. It has an added orange twist that makes this look refreshing for the summer. I wore this dress when we went to Cancun last September for my birthday. I must say it is also a nice beach companion.
