Happy Monday! Spring must Haves for all of you lovelies today. I have been dreaming of it so muc because we had a Spring time temp over the weekend. I just wanna sing “it felt like spring time on this February Morning” So here are some inspiration for you guys.

You know that this season is full of florals as the flower will start to bloom again and if by any chance you wanna visit our area. It is the perfect time first part of spring to see the cherry blossom festival. Mules since around this time the weather is not that cold to show off your feet, denim jackets to make you comfy for some cool temp and pastel colors to keep your style alive . So make sure to add theses items into your wardrobe. You can never go wrong with this finds I tell you. You better start shopping now as there are a lot of new items to choose from in the store. Happy Friday Loves! Today I am sharing my outtfit last weekend. It is a winter white coat Style. I just wanted to do black and white style starring this White coat. It is just a classic piece that you can actually wear with any thing. This Steve Madden white coat is very comfy as it is wool so it is really warm. Completing this look is the leg high boots to really make you feel warm top to bottom. It is about comfort and style. You cannot be compromising your own comfort just to be stylish.

Staycation Tips and Benefits

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott in Fairfax Virginia. I highly recommend stay at Marriott hotels they are simply the best!

Happy Thursday! I hope all is doing well today. I just want to share how we celebrated our valentines day as a family. We did “staycation” and OMG! it was fun and relaxing. Specially with the brutal cold weather we had here over that Valentine weekend. It was really a good idea to just stay inside. But we wanted to breath a different air so we stayed in a hotel near were we live.

Benefits:

1.) It’s Relaxing! It says it all 🙂 as you can get away from household chores,
2.) Less travel time, less stress
3.) Cheaper than a vacation
4.) you get to explore the things to do in your area like (bike trails, museums etc.)

TIPS to really enjoy your stay:
1. book a hotel that has free breakfast – it saves time and money.
2. If you’re a fitness junkie – book the one that has a fitness center
3. Hotel that has a swimming pool is a good idea, it is like an outing (really a getaway) in our area since it is always cold during the winter. We always book a place with indoor pool so the kids and the whole family can enjoy taking a dip.
4. Take some board games with you. What took the dominoes with us and Adi really enjoyed it.
5. You can get coupon book from the rest areas for hotels around your area and get good discounts.
6. If you are staying at home, try activities within your area.

Happy Monday Loves! How was your Valentine’s Day? I hope everyone had a good weekend. Talking about the gift of time today. It is the most important gift you can ever give your love ones. I know most of us gets busy with different things in life that we tend to forget to spend time with the most special persons in our lives. I know this weekend I spent the time with my precious family and we stayed in a hotel to bond, we really had fun! (stay tuned on that staycation as it is upcoming on the blog).

Having a beautiful time piece like this helps to remind us about the precious time. I know some people says they already have a cellphone and they don’t need a watch. It is still a must to have a watch as it is like one part of your body. It is easy t look at to know the time. Good morning lovelies! Happy Wednesday! I just want to share this oversized coat I received from Newchic. I am so glad to show this off wearing a gray sweater and blush pink shoes and handbag. I must say this is the color that I am obsessed with right now and for this coming Spring season. They are just so cool to the eyes. I believe in the saying simplicity is beauty and I just had to add this statement necklace to add a little spice on this look.

Romantic Ideas for Valentine’s Day

Happy Friday Lovelies! We only have another week to prepare for Valentine’s Day. I am sharing some tips on how to celebrate it in different ways that your love one will appreciate. Most of the romantic ideas here are based on my personal experiences and I know will help you on other ways to celebrate with your love one.

all of you might be thinking why I posted outfit post on this topic. I was thinking that this is just a simple casual look and plus it has red stripe which kinda reminded me of Heart’s day. I wore this outfit when we attended our friend’s daughter’s birthday party.

1.) Go to a place that is very memorable to you. For my husband and I it was the Manila Zoo because that is were we first met. Because there, you’ll be able to reminisce and will definitely have a good time talking about things that you both enjoy together.

2.) Take them to a caricature place where the artist can draw both of you a have it framed. Or if you are like me who can draw, make a portrait of your love one and it is really a keepsake that they will always see and remember.

3.) Set up a bonfire and make a hot drink or indoor with drink some wine for both of you while listening to your favorite music. My husband and I sometimes not only on Valentine’s will have a moment like this that we will just do a sweet dance with a background music. It is just so relaxing and romantic.

4.) Make a video compilation or a flipagram of both of you with all your fun and memorable pics and show it to them on Valentine’s day. If you have a smart tv it will be even better to show it to them over there on the big screen.

5.) Prepare breakfast with most of the food are like heart shapes. It will definitely put instant smile on your love ones faces.

I only put ideas here that are not expensive because the best things in life are mostly free and doesn’t have to be pricey.

How to Care for your Curls

Who does have curly hair like me? If you do or you know someone who is in a search for a better product to care for their curly hair. How to care for your curls? This Kerastase Oleo curl will surely help you enrich your curls. Such a great find!

If you have been following me on my blog or my instagram, You’d know I just cut my hair short, I mean really short. It is called “curly bob” which I honestly like. I haven’t had my hair this short because I always think it will just mess up my curls and it will make my face look big. But at the salon in Manila, Philippines before the new year’s eve. The stylist said try this curly bob to make your boring hair look fabulous. I asked for a picture to kinda give me an idea and I liked it. I was thinking at the back of my head that if this goes wrong. I can always use my irresistible me hair extensions. So after the stylist cut the hair, he then ask his apprentice to blow dry my hair a little bit and let and told her to put this cream on my damped hair. It was just a pea size on her palm.

I asked the lady what it was and she showed me the product. What really caught my attention was the fresh scent it has. It was Kerastase Oleo curl, it really defines curls, it makes your hair soft, it is not sticky or crusty and it really smells good! I highly recommend this product. You can also paired it with their shampoo.

Reasons Why You Need to Visit Philippines

Happy Monday my loves! Today I will be sharing some places to go when in the Philippines and the reason why you should visit. First of, for those who have not heard of that country. It is located in the southeast Asia close to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and also a neighbor of China, Japan, Korea and many more.

I had to post these outfit because these Tom’s are my companion most of the time. Very comfy shoes to walk around town. I guess if you are flat footed it my not be the same comfort for you. Philippines is close to the equator that is the reason why it has 7,107 beautiful islands. We have a lot of beautiful beaches with white sand and crystal clear water. Good morning lovelies! Since Valentine’s day is in two weeks. I am glad to share to you this outfit I wore when my husband and I had a mini vacation by ourselves at the Marriott Hotel Manila, Philippines. We just celebrated our being together since we started dating back in 2000. We took the opportunity to do this since we were back home and our parents were just so happy to take care of their grandchildren (our kids) with open arms since they missed them so much.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay there. We reminisced so much about all the things we used to do when we were still in the Philippines. We watched Star Wars the movie at Mall of Asia, went to the Hotel’s Happy Hour and at the Hotel lounge we got to listen and got to wear this beautiful Dress from Oasap. You wouldn’t believe it was under $20 because the material looks and feel great. It was very appropriate for that place since it was a 5 star Hotel. I must say I was simply well dressed.

Date Nights can be anything. It is not just dining out at a fancy restaurant kind of thing. It is the presence of love with the company of each other. Weather be it going to the movies at the park, sitting by the lake watching the sunset, getting some ice cream and just eating it inside the car, stargazing from the roof top. Just shared to you some date night ideas too. Wishing you all a wonderful Heart’s day! Make sure to spend it with the people you love.
