With the outfit, I received this top (supposed to be a shirt dress from dresslink) It was so short for me so I ended up styling it tied at the end. and thought of pairing it with my denim shoes and white jeans to make this whole combo chic. what do you think? Happy Friday lovelies! Any exciting plans this weekend? I will be attending my friends son’s 1st birthday celebration. I will help out to decorate the venue, that is exciting and fun. Back to the outfit, Today I am sharing this 70’s look revived with this white top that has gorgeous sleeves. I paired it with this Flared jeans (as worn here) and my mustard colored sandals that I have for years. I would also pair it with thissandals or this one to make it really a 70’s style perfect.
This bag and this one too will also be a good fit for the whole outfit style. There are just a lot of styles to choose from to re create this whole look. I hope this outfit was able to help you out get an outfit idea.

Hello and good morning my dear friends! How is your week going so far. Today I will be sharing a part of my home to you which my husband and I re-decorated. When we bought the house of course it has a different look. The previous owner also have their own style which is not same as ours. So when we do have a budget a budget. We change it by means of re-painting or adding some wall stickers.
BEFORE
As you can see on the before pictures. The wall in our entry way area has floral wall paper and we just changed it using this gray wall paper we got from target, we also like this and this. They are very chic, affordable and very easy to use. It is just like a big sticker that you have to peel the white part and just stick it to the wall, that simple. It has to be 2 person to put them , one will be putting on the sticker while the other one peels the white part and hold it until you are at the end.
We took off the floral candle holder wall decor and replaced it with this very lovely wall art also from Target. The decorative objects we got from Home goods. I wanted them to be white as it adds contrast to the accent table. I also love this white elephant and this white plant, we added faux floral to make it look very lovely, I would also like to get this faux flower in a vase. I also added some books to add more accent.
AFTER
We also changed the lighting and we got this semi flush mount light we got from Home depot and also used LED for energy efficiency. What do you think about the new look? Did it look chic and stylish?
I hope I was able to give home inspiration and home re-decorating ideas to you. Our next project is to change the Lighting in our dining room to a modern style like what we added here.

Good morning and Happy Monday lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I enjoyed mine because we had relatives coming over from NY to see the Cherry Blossom festival in DC. There was barely cherry blossoms left due to strong winds and rain we had 2 days prior. Most of them are green leaves already… sigh… How did you spend your weekend?
So going back to my outfit. I actually did not see this Bell Sleeve top when I was shopping, I only saw it right after returning some of the clothes I didn’t from the fitting room. It was love at first sight! I tried it and I liked it so much. Since it is a midriff top I paired it with one of my High waist Jeans. I don’t like showing of a lot of skin when I am not in the beach, you all know what I mean. Very minimalist style I should stay here. I just added my red necklace to add some color to this outfit.
This top will also look good in a denim overall(as worn here) or with this overall or with a high waist denim skirt. There are a lot of beautiful looks you can create with this top. Happy Easter Monday my lovely friends! I hope you all had a good one. I am just SIMPLY THANKFUL. Because I received the result of my mammogram and it was normal. 2 weeks ago I went to my gynecologist for my annual check up. I also asked her about the discharge I noticed coming out of my nipples. I was already about 2 weeks the I have noticed it prior to my annual visit. The doctor was concerned because It is not normal to have it at this point. She did the breast exam and she did not see any lump. She also checked my hormones, so I guess it was just because of that.
I was so scared when they were doing mammography on me. It was my first time and to think that there are a lot of young people having to deal with breast cancer. All of that is running through my mind that moment while waiting. a lot of what if’s. Not just breast cancer alone as I lost both my grandmothers from liver cancer and leukemia.
So I just wanna share this to all of you to increase your awareness and to make sure that you are doing your self breast examination. It is very important for us females to check it every so often. As I always do to, that is how I noticed something different. Early detection is very good and prevention is better than cure. Our body needs our love and care not only by dressing up good like what we all always do. But make sure the live a healthy and fit lifestyle.

If you have been following me on my blog. You will notice how many times I have posted outfits I got from Shein. Those blog post are not collaborations, I really bought them myself as I really love most of the clothes they sell.
Their clothes are very reasonable priced and stylish. Knowing me, I will invest my money more on bags, shoes than outfits as it keeps on changing every time. When I order from them, I usually get standard shipping which is 7-10 business days. I was disappointed on my very first order. I had to cancel it because it was taking forever. The reason was, it was the holiday and the items are coming from China. So I kinda understand it, so better make sure the items you are ordering are in the US for faster shipping and if you really love the items but they are in China. Just pay for fast shipping then.
As for the sizes, they run small. So better order one size up, but what I do is that I usually try to look on outfits who have reviews as they indicate there their weight, height and sometimes they have pictures. I really helps me a lot on deciding if that outfit is a buy.

Happy Monday lovelies! How was your first day of spring? mine, we spent it at church for Palm Sunday celebration. Since it is officially spring, even though we did not have a Spring type of weather yesterday. Seeing those beautiful flowers blooming everywhere still brought joy to me. So I will be sharing with you this perfect Spring Maxi dress I received from Shein. I have been eyeing for this dress for a long time and so when they asked me to choose from their site. Oh the city of Chicago, so beautiful but so little time. As you all know, we went to Chicago 2 weeks ago for my husband’s mini birthday getaway. We love to travel so much so we decided that every year we should go to a place we have never been to before. Chicago came up on our list to see. We have been fascinated by “the bean” or Cloud Gate” at that Millenium park and their beautiful skyscrapers like what we see in the movies.
We were not disappointed with what we saw, but with so little time that we have to explore the whole city. We arrived at our hotel at Elmhurst, Illinois about 19 miles away from the city at 4pm. We still got time to explore the city that night. We just stretched and set our stuff in and we headed right away to the City.

WHERE TO GO:
The Tilt Experience360 Chicago Observation Tower
360 CHICAGO (formerly known as JOHN HANCOCK CENTER)
If you are not afraid of heights you should try the tilt, you will step next to the glass wall/window and it will tilt at a certain angle.
They also have bar/lounge at the same floor (95th) where you can just chill and enjoy the gorgeous view of the city at night while sipping some margarita.
Skydeck Willis Tower
WILLIS TOWER (formerly called SEARS TOWER)
They have this sky deck on 105th floor where you get to view the while city of Chicago and Lake Michigan. The sky deck has transparent floors where you can take your photos while seeing what is underneath you. This is listed as one of the tallest buildings in the world.

MILLENIUM PARK
This felt like a mini Central Park to me. The park is so clean and has pretty cool architecture surrounding it. Just like the famous Cloud Gate or most commonly referred to as “the bean” by the locals and the Crown Fountain.

They have shows, River cruise, Ferris Wheel and you can stroll here just to view the beautiful Lake Michigan and take pictures.

If you have kids with you like us, they will definitely enjoy this as it is like a mini theme park and at the same time like an activity center for the whole family center.
UNITED CENTER
If you’re a fan of Micahel Jordan, then go visit and take a picture with his statue outside the center just like my husband did.
the 2 latter places where in the outskirts of the city of Chicago, see them last once you’ve seen the rest of the city.

There are a lot of hotels within the city. Just make sure it is in the center of all the attractions so you can just do a hop on hop off bus tour or take a cab or use uber. Parking is very expensive, just like in most cities. You can also try the bike and you don’t have kids with you.
We stayed outside the city because we drove and we have the car with us. We just parked it close to the places we wanted to see. To save from paying too much with parking, we just rode a cab to the next destination.
WHERE TO EAT: I only recommend these places where we have eaten.

GINO’S EAST DEEP DISH PIZZA
They are always full because their pizza is really good, so call them ahead of time to make reservations specially on the weekend. We were already in like and was told to wait 30 mins but this angel (this man coming out of the restaurant said his party did not come and gave us this priority seating ticket) got lucky! We didn’t have to wait at all.
GARRETT’S POPCORN – if you are looking for some snacks try this one it is very good.
BIG BOWL – this is an Asian restaurant and has very tasty food.
