Okay, we are few weeks away from Spring and I can definitely feel it here in our area. For the past 3 days we have been getting 60’s -70’s weather, I know it is weird and not normal for Winter specially in February but hey I am loving it. So today, I just wanna share to all of you the must haves shoes for Spring and one perfect pair I really found like a gem are these mules. They are just perfect as they are comfy and under $100. Best deal ever!!! I also love the color nude because it goes well together with every outfit I have. I was able to give it a spin due to the Spring like weather.

I am also obsessed with these beauties as well….

Can’t you tell, I am into mules? They are the perfect transition shoes as they provide enough coverage for some chilly days that might be there and still gives you that chic look you need for the season.

Being a mom with a full time day job and a blog on the side. It is really hard to keep up and work out or even go to a gym. It is almost close to impossible at times. But of course I work in the Medical field so I gotta be fit and to also to be a good example to my kids.

So the question I get a lot is How do I stay fit without a gym membership? Honestly, I have my own gym at home but I never really go there and use the equipment. What I do is….

  1. of course I try to eat healthy food as much as I can (this gotta be number one)
  2. As I have been saying before, I have been using the Nike training app and they have all these program you can follow depending on what your goal is. I actually wanna be toned, specially on my mid section.
  3. You have to have a supportive Husband who will actually give you time at least 30 mins to workout and also motivates you. (if you don’t have that… I suggest workout really early or late when the kids are sleep, I use that time to do my blog…)
  4. I use Youtube and follow Ricardo Rodrigues Zumba exercises, it is sooo extreme. I really sweat a lot afterwards.
  5. I use this Zumba workout set . I just do at least one of each each week.

I usually do it at night, all my workout. At least 30 mins and at least 3-4x a week. I just started back again January as I really wanna be toned by Spring. I am looking forward to our up coming trip for Adi’s 7th birthday.

Most of them you already have at home. It is the disciple and staying focus is the hard part. Let’s all be a better us this year.

If I will be in an office setting and casual wear is allowed. You will definitely see me like this. This is how I will dress for Mondays as it is cool and gives good vibes to start the work week right. Why I am saying this, it is because my regular work clothes are just plain scrubs suit. Total opposite of the one you see here. I should say this is my work clothes as a blogger. Now I am talking!

Let me give you some insights about me. Ever since I was small, I have been dreaming myself walking in beautiful clothes for work and wearing high heels. Maybe because I always see my mom all dressed up for work and she looked amazing. But then growing up I then realize that I want to do something different which is to be a doctor. So I took Physical therapy as a pre med course just in case I will not be able to continue medicine as it is very expensive. So I did become a PT which I also love doing as I still help patients and see most of them get better and get back on their feet. I have no regrets as I really enjoy what I am doing and it is a low stress profession.

So back to this look. For most of the casual look if you really wanna look like you are in business you really just need to add a blazer. Yeah? It is an instant upgrade to your outfit and plus you can never go wrong with a Prada handbag and red sole heels. I am not saying that you have to wear expensive items that is why I added those budget friendly version here, I just love wearing those investment pieces. This is just my #girlboss How about you? Simplicity is beauty right? That is what this outfit is all about and all of us I know have tried it. What made this look special is the added bell sleeve style of this light sweater. It made this whole outfit chic and stylish at the same time. This look can be your go too meeting with friends just hanging out with them like a coffee date. You can also never go wrong with those red soles. If you are a fashionista like me, hey you know what I am talking about. Thankful to receive this special gift from hubby. This is a good investment for all fashion lovers as you can wear this dressed up or down.

Also about this Zac Posen hand bag. I know you have been seeing it a lot but it really is handy for all outfits as it match with everything. Casual looks doesn’t have to be boring right? Valentines is just around the corner and that is the sweetest time of the year. Where you can see a lot of flowers, hearts, chocolates, cards and the likes. Today I am just sharing this simple, all time classic little black dress that is made perfect for a V day look as I have added pretty pieces with it. I have chosen to incorporate blush pinks in this look to make it subtle and be Valentine’s day inspire look. The black and these light pink combo balances out the whole ensemble.

So if you receive a bouquet of red roses, Viola! Instant Romantic date night look was just made. I cannot emphasize enough that reds and pinks has its romantic touch. This is just a classy casual look easy to create and most likely you probably have these items in your closet.

I have been into a lot of girly girly outfits lately as you all can see on my recent post. I don’t know why but I am really in love with all the fashion trends that is out in the market these days. The ruffled tops, bell sleeves, lace trims, dresses and tops. I have tried them all already and have been completely embracing it. And I am not planning to stop as I would like to invest more on them this Spring/Summer. I just can’t wait to flaunt all these trendy pieces without having to wear a coat on top.

We have actually been lucky here in Maryland as we have been getting Spring like temps. That being said, I just observed that our trees in our backyard already are budding. It makes me think of all floral outfits that our out there.

Ruflles are everywhere and in different variations of it. Just like the previous post I had with different styles here. I have been loving this trend so much. It makes a simple blouse make a statement. My closet is already filling up quick with everything Spring. This is I know I will wear so many times and with different jeans and shoes. It is just one of this chic casual moment.

Ruffles doesn’t come in blouse, it also comes in dresses like this post last year where I linked different ruffled dress. This one of those styles that will continue to evolve and will stay for a while just like the cold and off shoulder ones. Glad I was able to sashay this look even though we were having this windy and rainy photo shoot day. This was actually my first time doing photo shoot and it was raining cats and dogs. I found my shelter here at the Library. Will my outfit pass as a librarian? I think I will be the stylish one 🙂

I don’t know about you but I already feel Spring is coming soon. We are having some mild days here in the DMV and I am loving it. This coat which I had for a long time now made it a perfect combination with this white lace top I got from Chicwish. I am just starting to love this new brand as they have the stylish pieces that I fancy these days. If you have noticed in my recent post. I am leaning towards to a lot of girly girly blouses and dresses.

I have been wearing stylish and chic blouses lately and this white top is one of them. It is light perfect when transitioning from Winter to Spring as you just have to take the coat off when the temperature calls for it. So I guess that is just my current mood. I love to dress depending on how I feel so I really do not have a particular style. Same goes to the music I listen too. I can go to RnB, alternative, rap metal to pop. But of course there will always be my go to style. Just a pair of jeans and a cute top.

Have you all noticed that I am loving things girly lately? Let us not make winter dull and boring. Let’s put life into it by wearing some stylish sweaters where you can also add a coat on. Even though you see snow or trees without leaves. This chic styles like the bell sleeves, bows and ruffled sweaters make winter style fun.
There are a lot of styles you can create by pairing then with OTK’s, ankle boots, regular sneakers. These can also be worn with skirts and mostly with jeans. These styles has been in around for a while now and is still making a hit in the fashion scene. So be sure to have at least 1 or 2 of them. These items I tell, will come in handy specially when you are in a rush and just wanna wear something fabulous. Just the sweater alone is already a statement itself.
