Good morning from Maryland! Today I am sharing to you what I will wear tonight for our date night. I am just so excited because we have not been able to go anymore since my dad went back home in April. So I was already looking at some simply casual look that I can wear to a urban garden style place we are going to tonight. Hint… Hint it is in Georgetown, DC. Just gonna chill while sipping some cocktails. It just gets me excited as if it was our first date again.
So in this look I just pulled on this cute ruffle top making me look younger again and just a pair of my favorite brand skinny jeans and white pumps. You all know me that I love blue and been loving the ruffle and gingham style lately. This is a easy style to just get of our closet when you are in a rush. I hope I was able to give some outfit inspiration and made you smile today.

I must say that my closet is full different styled ruffled tops, stripes, off the shoulders, bell sleeves. But these must love ruffled top is the best. The texture is so soft and comfortable and makes me wanna twirl. It is also true to size and can also be work tucked in and out when you pair it with jeans. I tucked it in since I am wearing this High waist jeggings from American Eagle. This is something to wear to a stroll in a nice mall, hanging out with friends. If you are not into heels this can be paired with some cute sandals like this. As you all may notice I love wearing heels because I have longer torso and shorter legs even though I am 5’6″ tall. Pointed shoes always makes your legs look longer.
As for not posting on my usual time. I still made it Wednesday but later because it is daughters spring break and I have been more onto giving family time with the kids. We went to six flags yesterday and posted it on instastories if you follow me on instagram.

Spring came early here in Maryland, as you can see I have been wearing all the spring clothes I have in my closet. It is such a wonderful site to see some of the trees and flowers come back to life. I know it is not normal around this time of the year but hey! Not complaining, loving the sight of it.
So I have worn this Dress and it was just perfect! The material is of good quality for the price of $24 (great score!!!), the color is amazing and the style of the dress is just perfect for Spring!! How was everybody’s Valentine’s day? Did you do something special or you went low key and stayed at home? We all just stayed at home as yesterday was one of our busiest day as my hubby does coaching for a HS basketball team and I had to take Adi to her gymnastics class after school. That being said, Talking about the comfy outfit I wear when I want to get things done. We all want to look good and chic always but that doesn’t mean that can only be achieved by wearing cute blouses and dress. As a mom like me, I run a lot of errands at home like taking my kids to some class, going to the groceries, banks and stuff like that. When I am on the go like that, I wanna be comfy. The easiest way to do it is just by pulling these simply look out of my closet and viola, I am ready for a spin.
I know most of you have these basic outfit in your closet. This style just get things done with no sweet, aching feet wearing heels. I also wear hoodies sweater as they make me move around so fast, you know what I mean. How about you? Valentines is just around the corner and that is the sweetest time of the year. Where you can see a lot of flowers, hearts, chocolates, cards and the likes. Today I am just sharing this simple, all time classic little black dress that is made perfect for a V day look as I have added pretty pieces with it. I have chosen to incorporate blush pinks in this look to make it subtle and be Valentine’s day inspire look. The black and these light pink combo balances out the whole ensemble.
So if you receive a bouquet of red roses, Viola! Instant Romantic date night look was just made. I cannot emphasize enough that reds and pinks has its romantic touch. This is just a classy casual look easy to create and most likely you probably have these items in your closet.

Ruflles are everywhere and in different variations of it. Just like the previous post I had with different styles here. I have been loving this trend so much. It makes a simple blouse make a statement. My closet is already filling up quick with everything Spring. This is I know I will wear so many times and with different jeans and shoes. It is just one of this chic casual moment.
Ruffles doesn’t come in blouse, it also comes in dresses like this post last year where I linked different ruffled dress. This one of those styles that will continue to evolve and will stay for a while just like the cold and off shoulder ones. Glad I was able to sashay this look even though we were having this windy and rainy photo shoot day. This was actually my first time doing photo shoot and it was raining cats and dogs. I found my shelter here at the Library. Will my outfit pass as a librarian? I think I will be the stylish one 🙂

I was just so feeling chic as my style varies depending on the mood. So I just created this checkered coat and pink top. I should say #currentmood 🙂 But if you have been following me know, you know I can be simple casual girl to a really girly girly. With today’s look, It was not that cold that day so I wore one of my Spring top that I really really love!!! It is super cute and comfy as it is pink and it has this pretty bow from chicwish. They do have a lot of things I would need to prep my wardrobe for all seasons.
As for this checkered coat, It is just enough for the 50’s kind of weather to keep you stylish and warm. Adding the comfy fit and style of my skinny jeans. So winter days can be fun incorporating some of the Spring outfits you already have in your closet. I am just glad that it is not always in the 20’s -30’s here in our area. There can be some good days that feels like Fall or Spring.

What is under your coat? Mine is this soft laced hem sweater in winter gray and added the set of these cute scarf and OTK to make the whole look cozy. I added my favorite color as pops of blue to add life to the monochromatic shade of this style. I am super ready for spring and for the upcoming outfits you will really feel the Spring vibes. This sweater is not just for winter as it can also be worn all year round due to the versatility of the style and material. I also just realized that I have worn so many gray colors this season that to make it different from the others. I just add some other colors or just have a different styles.

Sharing some of the different winter coat for different styles. As you will not wear a leather jacket over if you are wearing a Dress is you are attending a formal occasion. You know what I mean right. Depending on the style you are trying to pull on a certain mode as there are always a jacket for that. Most of the coats here can be worn for most casual looks. The Camel coat is mostly for like a business casual or church dress look. The The Faux fur coat is more of the fashionista in you if you are going to a party or just be hanging out with friends.
Most of the items I have linked here comes in different colors. You have so many styles to choose from as we all have different body types and style. Most of the items are also on sale as we all know. It will be Spring before you know it so most winter items are now on sale so take advantage of it. It really is sweater weather and OTk’s season already. This are some of the fall staples you should already have in your closet to keep you cozy this season. I have shopped a lot of sweaters from Tjmaxx and this is just one of them. Just to change the feel of black and grey I have paired this olive green sweater with my black jeans and OTK. Another one of my favorite fall color combo. You can just never go wrong with them together.
If you are on the not so tall side. These OTK’s are for you as it already will make your legs longer because of the color and together with the added wedge heels. The over sized sweater as well will make that impression. Like I have said before that darker colors will keep you warm.
Also, another benefit of wearing OTK’s with the sweater is that it will instantly elevate your simply looks to chic! Do you agree? The simpleness of the sweater plus the classiness of the Boots altogether is already perfect style. So make sure to shop these items and make room for them in your closet.
