Finally I was able to make a blog post. Since we are two weeks away from Valentine’s day I made sure I have this gift guides for all of you. The past week was really tiring and busy week for us, we were in a rush to prepare for Andi’s baptism the past weekend and it was a week preparation. I will make a separate post for that and tell you all why it was like that.

Now back to the gift guide, here I chose a few that will definitely a hit for all the ladies out there in your life. Have you all though why always the ladies gets all the gifts and attention. We also have men in our lives that supports us and gifts us love and attention and for that I will also make a separate post for it. Working on it for my next weeks post so stay tuned.

Family Game Night Ideas with Kids

We as a family love the outdoors, we always go to the park, we bike roller skates and roller blades and things like that. So when Winter time comes and we wanna have fun. Game night is a good idea for us with small kids.

A hit for us is the JENGA classic, this one is a heart stopper and is truly a fun game to play. second is the UNO cards. The others are the SORRY and and CONNECT 4.

It was also a good idea to do it by the fireplace if you have one. I just wanna say if you do not wanna deal with getting real logs, we bought this Electric heater log that looks like a real logs on fire and it also serves as a heater at the same time.

The sherpa blanket we were sitting on was also the comfiest idea ever during this season. It gives us comfort and warmth and can always snuggle with it afterwards. Don’t forget also that movie night is a hit just like what I posted here last Christmas.

I hope I was able to give some game ideas to play specially for moms who have little ones like me. These games will surely be a hit for them.

Tropical Style Inspiration

I am not going somewhere tropical this season, just a wishful thinking! But I know a lot of you are going so I put up this post in case you are looking for some fresh outfits to take with you. I found them from these two stores: ASOS and Red Dress Boutique and they are in good price points. This post just made me feel like I wanna go on vacation… like at least closer… Bahamas maybe? I have never been.

It is actually my goal to be able to travel somewhere warm, during the Winter. I have tried it twice when we went back home in the Philippines. It was so nice to escape Winter for a couple of weeks. I should call myself an island girl but lately though. My body is changing and I am really tolerating the cold. I do not layer that much anymore compared to before.

For those who will be going somewhere cold-er… I will also make a blog post for it to kinda give you some inspirations as well. In case you will be going skiing or doing some sledding… I actually wanna try snowmobile. I think that sounds fun.

This 2020 one of my goal is to be back in shape and stay healthy. I know I am not the only one here. Even before I got pregnant with Andi I was able to establish a healthy lifestyle and I felt more energetic. I want be like that again and I can say that after the Holiday. I am very much sticking to it now, no more back to back parties.

I love getting workout wear from Old Navy and Gap Factory because of the price points and the ones I put here are pretty much on sale. My top 3 are Nike, Adidas and Puma as they are really good quality products. I have just started using lululemon and they are good quality too. I have yet to give Athleta and Outdoor voices a try and once I do I will let y’all know.

Things I am investing for myself this New Year

Things I am investing for myself this New Year. These items are the things that will make me a better version of myself and yours too.

WORKOUT CLOTHES

Just like this one that I posted here. I already started working on myself 6 weeks after having Andi but due to the holiday, I was inconsistent. This is actually my ultimate goal after pregnancy and always every new year. I always say myself health is wealth. And when I am fit, I always feel I have a lot of energy and being a mom of 3. I ahve to have all the energy that I can get.

SHAPEWEAR

Having a good shape wear is needed specially after the Holidays. I know I did accumulate some bulges here and there. I can definitely use it because we are planning on having Andi baptized this month and I know I will be wearing a dress then. I just want to feel good and best.

SELF IMPROVEMENT BOOKS

I also always do this just to boost my self confidence. It is actually a good idea for me to read new books specially something like this to get me organize in some way. To work my goals for this year and be able to achieve it.

I believe on investing on all these items as they will help me get better and up my game. The reason why I am sharing this is because I believe they are effective and will definitely be a good thing to work on.

Long Faux Fur Coat kinda Day. When in the middle of Winter and you want to wear something that gives comfort and style this is it! I love wearing coats in the Winter because it gives me warmth but there is always something special wearing a long faux fur coat.

I feel like I am always walking in a runway that is truly a model material and at the same time being comfortable. When we were doing a photo shoot of this outfit, it was really freezing outside and this coat really gives me the heat that is needed.

I feel like a have a huge blanket and I am home feeling comfy all the way and at the same time looking so classy walking the streets of Old Town Alexandria. I feel like I look expensive, do you agree? This is perfect to a city girl style specially when you live in the big City. I am just imagining things right now like as if I am also in NYC strolling wearing this coat.

Last year I have posted a similar style here. This one is longer but I like the new ones better special the cut of this one. This one looks more edgy and this trend I love that it keeps coming back and I do not want it to go.

Winter Coat that Accentuate the Waist that are truly flattering to wear this Winter Season. This will surely show your feminine shape. Most of the time we wear a lot of layers during this time of the year and we tend to lose our shape because of that. I am glad to share these coats that I am obsessed with because it will not make you look like marshmallow man.

This first coat I am showing here is my Top 1 and bought it right away, the color and the trim on the waist is a perfect pair and fit. This can be dressed up or down!

This is my top 2 on my winter coat list. It really shows my shape and it gives that warmth and style that I need this cold.

Below are the other coats that you might want to consider as they also serve the purpose of giving comfort, warmth and style.

This coats may want you stay longer so you will not have to take them off right away. I know I was able to last long outside wearing these coat. It was so windy when we were doing the photo shoot for this coats. You can also pair them with any shoes you desire to wear and most of all they are not bulky.

What my $100 can buy at H&M

I have been wanting to do a blog post about different stores and see what I can buy with my $100 on them. I will start of with the stores that I already shop. If y’all know me one of my go to store is H&M and last year that have announced that they change their sizing to cater to US sizes. I used to be medium but with the new sizing I am now small. To me it is now similar to Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic.

So now let me talk about this outfit that I came up with. So these items total including the shipping and handling came about to $96 I still have $4 to buy me a scrunchie or something. This style I can wear now and into Spring, to make this appropriate for Winter is just to add one of the jackets or coats you already have in your closet.

This is a very chic look to start of the New Year and you can never go out of style with black and polka dots. I am thinking of wearing this oversized white long puffer coat. I think this will really look good put together.

I am actually looking for one to myself but the one I was eyeing on at Boohoo, they don’t have my size anymore. Check out the long puffer coat I posted here last year. You might want to add this to your wardrobe.

Welcoming New Year 2020

Happy New Year 2020! It was such a fun New Year’s Eve celebration at home. We haven’t welcomed the New Year at our house in the last 5 years. We have 10 family friends and we have a tradition of spending it at one of each houses so we do rotations every year. We also just started a tradition like 3 years ago of having one family sponsor every family a t-shirt for everybody and using the lucky color of the year and also putting our last names on it.

So now that I have shared how we welcome every New Year. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself again in case you are new to my blog. Hi, my name is Christianne and I am a mom of 3. I’m originally from the Philippines and now living here in the US with my husband and our 3 lovely children with our dog mojo.

My goal this year is to be able to provide y’all an ever green content you can surely use in your everyday life be it for fashion (personal style) which I usually share the most, lifestyle, family and travel. I want to be a good resource person for all those topics I mentioned. Also, I am not usually sharing a lot of family pictures but recently since I became pregnant and have Andi now. The whole family became ok posting in pictures with me. I used to like beg them to have a decent photos that is why you rarely see them on my blog.

I also wanna inspire a lot of mamas out there. I always get this question how I can manage having a full time day job, this part time blog and be a mom of three. I think I have posted this topic before but will get into details in the next few episodes of my blog. Also check out my previous post on how I prepared for the NYE party.

Simplychristianne 2019 Year in Review

This is my last blog post for this year. Doing reflections on how this year was for my blog and how I have been to y’all. I know I fell short this year since I became pregnant I know I slacked so much. I lost my consistency in posting on my blog and also the ever green content that I should have been sharing with all of you.

This year started not so good as I was still recovering from the lost of my dad back in November last year. Then a month after that I found out I was pregnant and had morning sickness and that really threw me off on my routine. I really lost myself this year and was just posting a lot of fluff here and there just to have something to post. I am just being with y’all. I did give something good for the pregnant ladies like me back then.

This 2020 I have a lot of goals for myself and my blog. I will do my best for y’all to be the best resource for all the good deals for fashion, lifestyle, motherhood and travel content I may have that I know will be beneficial for everyone.

Here are some of the Highlights I have this year… Not so much though It was pretty much about my pregnancy…. So thankful to have baby Andi. I was really thinking I was done when I had Aidan. I only wanted two if I have a boy and a girl already but hubby convinced me good and so thankful for that.
