4th of July Entertaining Idea

4th of July is almost a week away and now that we are slowly going back to normal. Things are more exciting this time of the year since we are now starting to see friends and family we haven’t seen in a while. So here I am sharing 4th of July entertaining idea if you are hosting. It is indeed patriotic theme and most of these items I bought from the Dollar store.

Most of the items that I used here I got from the Dollar store. Similar items like 4th of July party supplies and this here for your party needs. I really do not have any plans myself as of now as we will be celebrating with friends a day before. but if we do, here are the things we will definitely use if it will just be us in the backyard. I was actually thinking of going to the pool that day so I will be posting some outfit ideas for you as well for this event.

I just put together some snack tray here mostly healthy stuff and some candies for the kids to enjoy. Barbeque is also another option and some salad bar to add for the adults attending. Drinks will surely be some soda, water and some alcohol to complete. Another idea if it will be a backyard party is to add an outdoor movie night. Just have a prijector and a screen and you are all set. So stay tuned for the 4th of July outfits I will put together.

My uncle actually got one before from my cousin and he truly appreciated it. It is actually pretty cool when they showed me how to use it. This is perfect for those who loves sparkling water!

Sharing this Kendall and Kylie Maxi dress I got from Amazon. This is the Maxi dress is your dreams. It is under $100 and is perfect dramatic, stylish but comfy maxi dress. This is a bit long, I am 5’6″ and it is like almost touching the floor if I was not wearing a platform sandals. You might wanna wear some heels with this one but is true to size. I love the material perfect for warm weather and also strolling the beach or any outdoor parties you might be attending to, also for Summer family pictorials. I styled it with straw bag and hat and wore some gold necklace. You will be a star of the event with this dress or when you wear it on your family reunion.

Memorial Day Outfit

Happy Memorial Day! I chose today to wear this as the color symbolizes what we are celebrating today. Wore the red lipstick and blue and white dress. This dress is a perfect Summer dress and very flattering. So proud of Jennifer for making this design for Gibsonlook. It is such a fab dress, perfect for strolling under the Summer Sun. And I am loving the smock top, the puff sleeve and most specially the slit to show of your legs fpr days.

It is a floral dress and is so remantic perfwct for those precious moments like in the beach or with yout special person in your life.

I cannot stress how much I love this dress as it really is a good buy for me.

Designer Dress for Less

I am so happy to see this collection come true with one of my favorite designers. I have worn some of her pieces before, they are on the expensive side but it was worth the buy with its classy design and good quality materials. So over the moon that @shopalexis was able to collaborate with Target to make this Designer dress for less! I am so happy that she has my favorite color in this style. The pattern, the material and how flowy it is is the perfect combination plus the rope belt that is so flattering. This can be worn as a Wedding guest dress, any Spring/Summer cocktail events, brunch, date nights and the likes. This dress is also perfect for Memorial Day outfit given its color. Here are the previous Shopalexis dresses I have worn for Memorial Day Outfit inspiration back in May 2018 here. and this dress was similar to the one I am wearing here. Below are other Designer pieces I love from this collaboration.

Most of these pieces are perfect for all the ocassions we all have been longing for since we had the pandemic. I am loving the colorful vibe of all these dresses. It is just giving me all the good vibe and all the fun things we can all do this Spring and Summer now that we are all trying to go back to our normal lives. Praying for this pandemic to be over! This has caused all of us anxiety and all but also thankful for all the lessons we learned from it.

Past Weekend Vacation Styles

Sharing this past weekend vacation styles I wore at the beach. So we went on an overnight beach trip and I wish it was at least a 3D2N stay but hey not complaining to get some vitamin sea with the family. So here are all the looks and details of the outfits I wore to give you all some outfit inspirations on what to pack on a beach trip.

Places to Hike in the DMV

Happy Friday! I have been getting a lot of questions from my followers around the DMV were have we been hiking so here are they. We are not experts, we actually just started loving hiking as a family last year. I just googled trails and if the reviews are good then we go. And along the way invested in some of hiking boots. If we can do the hike you can too!

1. Billy Goat Trail (Potomac, MD)

This is were we went hiking yeaterday for Mother’s day. We went to section A trail and it was a rocky ttail so I recommend you wearing hiking boots to prevent injuries.

2. Weverton Cliff (Knoxville, MDKnoxville, MD)

Thia trail is only almost 2 miles out and back but high, the hike is doable for first time hikers and once you reach to cliff, we you be relaxed with the view of the Potomac River.

3. Annapolis Rock (Myersville, MDMyersville, MD)

This trail we have been wanting to go for Fall as the colors of the trees looks good from this view as you can see here. The trail was not bad and families can go and they have rest room near the cliffs. We saw some rock climbers too.

4. Loudon Heights Trail

This hike was really a hike. Appalachian trail was not a joke this is a 7.5 mile hike out and back. It took us 4 hours to finish and it was us and the kids except Andi, we started out with hubby’s cousin and his wife but they had to go back down because they have prior commitments and we started hiking late. But it was also a breathtaking view at the top.

5. Maryland Heights Trail

This trail is good for families to a good 4 mile hike from Harper’s Ferry and once you get to the top of the cliff you will get to see Harper’s Ferry and the Potomac River. It looks so beautiful and I have seen pictures of it during the Fall and it was perfect.

6. Sugarloaf Mountain Trail

This one has so many grails to choose from depending on your liking from easy, moderate and hard and the view is also gorgeous on top as you can see here.

7. Patapsco Regional Park (Holliefield area)

This was our first mini hike during the pandemic. This one does not have a top view compared to all of them as we went down to the river were you can see the view of this nice bridge and it is near a railroad. We really enjoyed it there amd you can bring your swimsuit to if you just wanna get a tan. A lot of people are doing it. I should have done it because my tan line was a t-shirt. Lol! We really enjoyed the relaxing scene so we stayed for awhile and we we got home my tan lines was a T-shirt.

So if you do not have plans this weekend, you might wanna go for a hike. The weather will be nice for a Hike.

Activewear Sets Under $40

Trying to find new workout wear since the weather is starting to warm up. So went to check Amazon to see all their beautiful activewear set to add to the wardrobe and here is what I got. This two piece activewear set is under $30 and it is true to size. It is very comfy and very soft and I have already used it to workout doing my HIIT and cardio and it is good, I also already have washed it and it is still the same quality after washing. The only thing is that is has this odor when I opened the packaging but hey, We can always wash it and it maybe during its transport. Also uses Samsung watch for my fitness journey here. Also wearing cute workout wear motivates me to workout specially if it looks good on me. I don’t know about you but I just wanna share them all so we all feel the same and be fit and healthy.
