This style alert: stripes jumpsuit is love at first sight. I already know this will be a fab casual outfit this Spring and Summer season after laying my eyes on it. It has all the key trends I was looking for in an outfit. Ruffles, stripes and off shoulder all together. How can you not love this style right?
This outfit is also as easy as how you wear a dress. Effortlessly chic and easy to pair with any accessories. I would wear this in beach, having cocktails with friends or just strolling somewhere. If you opt for the beach, it can be paired with a straw bag and a sandals. If its just cocktails, it will be perfect with a clutch bag and any open toe sandals (with or without heels). I can already imagine wearing this at the National Harbor where I am having Happy hour with some of my girlfriends at an outdoor bar, overlooking the Potomac River while watching the sunset.

This is a pretty set and you can wear a different top and bottom with them. Never forget to bring lots of sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses for protection from the sun. You do not want to be over baked!

Just like the above photo, this looks very casual but also very appropriate wearing in the ship and out and about when you docked. Now let’s talk about saving space in your luggage, such as rolling clothes and using packing cubes. I always use my packing cubes because it is easy to sort all the clothes and put together pieces. I would also recommend using the vacuum sealed plastics. There is also an available option of using a carry-on bag to avoid checking luggage.
It is nice if you will just park your car at the port but if you are flying. always consider the weight of your luggage. Our first cruise port was in Florida and we had to fly coming from Maryland. It was a lot better the second time, we just drive and park our car at the New Jersey port and we did not have to worry about the weight of the luggages. This is another thought when packing outfits like the delicate items and avoiding wrinkles. You can not bring steamers or iron in the ship, if needed you have to pay extra and the crew will iron them for you.

If you have been following me, you know how I love Black halo as it fits like a glove and very good material, soft and comfy. Just like the one I worn here and here. Also excuse my mirror here, I wasn’t wearing my contact lens and did not realize that it was dirty. Oh well, real life selfie then. LOL!
What I love about this dress is the cut in the front, it just gives it a statement itself. The color is the second because it is my favorite color and it just looks refreshing for this dull Winter and perfect to welcome Spring. This dress is also perfect for pairing with any neutral accessories for bags and shoes. I just opted to wear this Christian Louboutin pumps and paired it with my current obsession this Tory Burch bag. You guys! This bag is so beautiful, it can be styled 2 different ways buy adjusting the handle.
I wish I can wear this at work. All I can tell you all is that I wear Navy blue Polos and khakis at work as a Physical therapist by day.

Why You Should Stay At The Omni Shoreham DC. Birthdays are special to our family and we often do staycations for those types of celebration. So happy to have gotten a good deal booking it using Staypia. So now I am sharing the best DC hotel staycation by far! We’re so happy we chose Omni Shoreham because it is the Best DC Hotel Family Staycation so far!

Let me tell you, the Omni Shoreham is not just another hotel – it’s a true urban oasis that will whisk you away from the chaos of everyday life. From the moment we stepped foot into the grand lobby, we were greeted with impeccable service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And let’s not forget the stunning views of the lush gardens and crystal-clear pool that instantly transport you to a state of pure relaxation. Trust me, this place is a hidden gem that deserves all the love and praise, even if it’s not a sponsored post.
Omni Shoreham’s Lobby
The Hotel lobby is huge and elegant, It really looks expensive since It is a luxury property in one of the sought-after DC neighborhoods. There were a lot of places to sit and relax.
Their Staff
The staff was very nice, the kind of hospitality we were looking for and what is expected to see in a luxurious hotel like this. They offer overnight valet parking and assist you with your luggage. The receptionist was very pleasant and the check-in process was very smooth, also they gave us freebies for the kids! With that, I already knew it will be a fun family experience.
The Rooms
The rooms are spacious perfect for our family of five plus my mom and love the bathroom! I might suggest additional lighting though.
The Location
The location is perfect, very close to everything! Just steps away from so many restaurants around the area, The National Zoo, and the Park which we went after.
Fitness Center
The fitness center was huge! A lot of space to use for your workout needs since hubby and I love a good workout while on staycations.
Pool Area
The pool was the highlight for us because we have 3 kids, the night swimming was refreshing even the daytime too! They have a poolside bar to enjoy some refreshments, we got the margaritas. They have 3 different heights for the pool for everyone to enjoy! The whole family was so happy about this splish and splash moments.
Omni Shoreham’s Garden
They have a beautiful garden at the back and offer fire pits where you can stay and chit-chat. In that are, they also offer secret garden music series I think in the Summer.
So, not only does this fabulous venue offer outdoor garden weddings but let me tell you, it’s an absolute dreamy location for your special day. With its picturesque gardens filled with blooming flowers and enchanting greenery, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. And let’s not forget about the stunning backdrop it provides for your wedding photos – talk about Instagram-worthy moments! Trust me, if you’re searching for the perfect place to say “I do,” this hidden gem is waiting to create memories that will last a lifetime.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Washington, DC. if you are visiting the White House or just DC in general, I will highly recommend staying in this hotel. It is so relaxing and you are close to everything in the city.
If you are concerned about your commute. There is a lot of city bikes for rent and also electric scooter to go around the city to visit all the monuments around. You can also get to know all the different restaurants they have in the district since this is a melting pot. There is always something for everybody whatever you are craving for!
