Wearing sequins is an instant glam for me. and it has been a staple in party dressing whether on gowns, accessories, etc. But you can also wear sequins with jeans, they are a great way to wear sequins casually. It also works as excellent statement piece! This way you can make a statement without the hassle of getting too dressed up.
So here are some ideas on how you can fashionably wear sequin tops with jeans for different occasions. You can always mix and match everything in an outfit. Making it look like a brand-new one every single time.
How To Wear A Sequin Top With Jeans

Sequin Top Outfits are here for you starting with this one-shoulder sequin top. I always try to balance each outfit and always putting some colors in contrast with the black ones like the silver and the medium wash jeans. This is an eye-catching style especially for New Year’s Eve.
The off-the-shoulder top is very flattering and makes for a very visually interesting outfit. Sure to make a stylish impression at any casual party. To balance the sequins and denim, I added matching booties and a handbag with different textures. I love the wash of these jeans because they are still that classic blue, but have a chic richness that makes them look more expensive and high-quality.

For this look I started with classic black skinny jeans. The black complements the color of the top and heels really well. I decided to keep this look lighter with a neutral top, silver heels, and a white handbag. I love the fuzzy feel of the white handbag and it works wonders to balance the other textures in the outfit. This outfit would also look very cute with straight leg jeans or wide leg pants. And if its colder outside, you can also use a long sleeve sequin top instead.

These are just a few of the many sequin outfit ideas you can get inspiration from. There are a lot of other outfits you can wear sequin with like sequin pants with a sleeveless top, sequin skirt with a crop top or black leather top, sequin dress for a cocktail party with high heels, it can be loose fit too. Silver sequin is my favorite of them all.
How To Accessorize A Sequin Top
No matter what type of sequin top you choose, you will need most likely need some accessories. Especially if you’re headed out for a holiday party, a GNO, or a date night. By choosing the right accessories, you can make sure your look is balanced and chic. The right accessories can also help you tie your look together.
Choose jeans that do not have rips.
As you can see in my two outfit’s above, I have only chosen jeans that do not have rips. Personally, I think sequin tops and ripped jeans create an unbalanced look. It’s too chic on top and too casual on the bottom. Instead, choose a pair of jeans or pants that are solid and high-quality. This will ensure the outfit is chic from top to bottom.
Choose solid metal jewelry.
When you wear a sequin top, you can bet it will be the statement piece of the outfit. So, to make sure your outfit stays balanced, add simple, solid metal jewelry. As opposed to bright, large, colorful jewelry that could make your outfit too over the top. You can also choose jewelry that is the same color as your sequin top – like the silver earrings featured above.
Don’t overdo it.
The sequin top is already the star of the show. To make sure your look is still casual, don’t over do it. Simple jewelry, a matching handbag, chic heels, and maybe a solid trench coat, are all you need make an impression at your next holiday party. If you do want to dress up your outfit more, consider wearing faux leather leggings instead of jeans.
Be sure to vary textures and textiles.
Instead of going all sequins, choose other textures and textiles to add to your outfit to make it more dynamic.
