Don’t know what to wear when hiking during Fall, sharing this Fall Hiking Outfit Idea so you won’t freeze when hiking.
Fall Hiking Outfit Idea
So yesterday we took a hike on the Catoctin Mountain in Thurmont, MD. We were thinking of doing it early but at around 7 it was 33 degrees so it is happening. The high was 58 yesterday so we went there at noon. For a comfy hike, we started off having gloves, beanies, jackets, vest but layering is key as you start moving you will start to feel warm and then you will have to take off some items like the gloves, hat and jacket.
So wearing a good long sleeve shirt or fleece sweater like this is good. At first I was feeling chilly with my regular leggings but if you get cold all the time try getting these fleece lined leggings. But luckily I started feeling warm and it was a sunny day as well so I was only feeling cold for few minutes. Another ticked that worked for me is the foldable backpack I am wearing in the picture below. Here are some places to hike in the DMV if interested.
