Best View of NYC

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I just all of you to know that to see the beauty of the whole Manhattan is to be on the other side. That being said is to be at Jersey City, New Jersey. As you can see from the picture below.

NOV_7962

We already planned to visit NYC for the nth time since we were already close by. If you have been following me on instagram @simplychristianne then you would know that we attended my cousins wedding on Halloween. It was at Somerset, NJ which was an hour and 15 mins to get to the Big Apple, but it was bad timing. They had the New York Marathon so there were a lot of roads closed. That being said, I just thought about getting the best view so I asked our relatives to join us at Exchange Place, still in NJ to get the best shot of Manhattan.

Exchange place is also a nice area, it also feels like NYC but not as crowded. They also tall buildings and you’ll get to see lady Liberty from a far when you’re at the pier side. So if you plan to get the best view of the City when on land then this is the place for you to go. They also have restaurants around the area and they have this path train you can take which connects to the NYC subway.

As for the weather, it was really gorgeous as it was in the 60’s so I just wore jeans,  OTK boots and this cute pink sweater from Target. The whole family actually wore the same except for my so girly girly daughter who requested if she can wear a dress.

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday to all, and I’m excited because this is my Friday—I’ll be off tomorrow to attend my cousin’s wedding this weekend. Today, I’m embracing my favorite animal print of the season: leopard! I’m wearing an old leopard print scarf from H&M and shoes from Bloomingdale’s, paired with a cozy knit sweater from Target. To complement the shades of brown in my outfit, I’ve added a cute floppy hat from Laila Rowe to complete the look. When wearing a floppy hat, it’s important to ensure your face remains visible.

I love putting together outfits in the same color family and then adding one piece in a contrasting shade to balance the look. This outfit is perfect for this season and can be a go-to choice for various occasions.

Leopard print is a timeless and versatile pattern that adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. It’s a great way to make a statement while keeping your look classy and elegant. The scarf and shoes in leopard print are subtle yet stylish additions that elevate the entire ensemble. Pairing them with a neutral knit sweater creates a balanced and chic look.

The floppy hat adds a fun and playful element to the outfit. It not only provides sun protection but also completes the fall vibe of the ensemble. When choosing a floppy hat, ensure it fits well and doesn’t overwhelm your face.

Accessorizing with pieces that match the color palette of your outfit is a great styling tip. The cohesive shades of brown in this ensemble create a harmonious and put-together appearance. Simply,

Wedding Guest Dresses

Today I am sharing some of my picks for dress if you are attending a wedding this season.

Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday! Today, I am excited to share some of my top picks for dresses if you are attending a wedding this season. Finding the perfect wedding guest dress can be a challenge, but I’ve compiled a list of stylish options that won’t break the bank. Each dress is elegant and chic, with links to similar styles available for under $40. Isn’t that a great deal?

The inspiration for this post comes from my own upcoming event—my cousin is getting married this Saturday! I’ve been searching for the perfect dress to wear and thought I would share my findings with all of you. Whether you prefer something classic, trendy, or somewhere in between, there’s a dress here that will make you feel fabulous.

First, consider a timeless A-line dress. This style is universally flattering and perfect for a formal wedding. Look for one in a rich color like navy or burgundy, or go for a floral print if the wedding is more relaxed. For those who love a bit of glamour, a sequined sheath dress can add sparkle to your evening without overshadowing the bride.

If you’re attending a daytime wedding, a midi dress with a flowy silhouette can be both comfortable and stylish. Opt for light, breathable fabrics like chiffon or cotton blends. A wrap dress is another excellent choice, as it accentuates the waist and offers a customizable fit.

Don’t forget about accessories! A statement necklace or a pair of elegant earrings can elevate your look. Pair your dress with comfortable yet stylish heels or flats, depending on the venue and your comfort level.

Sweater Dress – old (similar here and here)

Good morning friends, Greetings from Maryland!

I’m excited to share a special look from yesterday’s shoot that means a lot to me. It was my first time wearing over-the-knee (OTK) boots, a long-time wish come true thanks to my husband, who gifted them to me for my birthday. He gave me a gift card, and these boots were my choice.

I paired the boots with an old sweater dress from Charlotte Russe. The combination made me feel incredibly tall. The dress is a turtleneck with long sleeves, perfect for creating that elongated silhouette.

This outfit is versatile and suitable for various occasions this season. Whether you’re heading out to the mall, going on a date, or attending parties, it’s an elegant choice. The sweater dress is cozy yet stylish, and the OTK boots add a touch of sophistication. They not only keep you warm but also make a fashion statement.

I love how the boots instantly elevate the look, adding a chic and trendy vibe. They’re a great investment piece because they can be styled in so many ways. For a casual outing, you can pair them with jeans or leggings. For a more dressed-up look, they go perfectly with dresses or skirts.

OTK boots are known for their ability to elongate the legs and create a sleek silhouette, especially when paired with a knee-length or shorter dress. The turtleneck detail of the sweater dress adds a touch of elegance, making it suitable for colder weather while still being fashionable.

Sorry for the lighting because the only time I get to do most of my photo shoot is after work and as the season gets close to winter, sunsets become earlier and earlier.

Hello everyone! It is indeed another beautiful day here in our area. When we took this photo it was also a ice weather like this. I just want to share this minimalist look with a touch if chic ness adding this beautiful piece of necklace. You can never go wrong with a statement necklace to make an outfit standout.

Pairing an above the knee length dress with a riding boots is a good combo to keep you warm in a chilly weather. And the 3/4 sleeves is just a right length for weather in the upper 60s.

this are the type of outfit I usually wear around this time of the year. I always think about style and comfort. Because most of the times just to be stylish we tend to sacrifice the comfort.

Happy Thursday!
