Romantic Ideas for Valentine’s Day

Happy Friday Lovelies! We only have another week to prepare for Valentine’s Day. I am sharing some tips on how to celebrate it in different ways that your love one will appreciate. Most of the romantic ideas here are based on my personal experiences and I know will help you on other ways to celebrate with your love one.

all of you might be thinking why I posted outfit post on this topic. I was thinking that this is just a simple casual look and plus it has red stripe which kinda reminded me of Heart’s day. I wore this outfit when we attended our friend’s daughter’s birthday party.

1.) Go to a place that is very memorable to you. For my husband and I it was the Manila Zoo because that is were we first met. Because there, you’ll be able to reminisce and will definitely have a good time talking about things that you both enjoy together.

2.) Take them to a caricature place where the artist can draw both of you a have it framed. Or if you are like me who can draw, make a portrait of your love one and it is really a keepsake that they will always see and remember.

3.) Set up a bonfire and make a hot drink or indoor with drink some wine for both of you while listening to your favorite music. My husband and I sometimes not only on Valentine’s will have a moment like this that we will just do a sweet dance with a background music. It is just so relaxing and romantic.

4.) Make a video compilation or a flipagram of both of you with all your fun and memorable pics and show it to them on Valentine’s day. If you have a smart tv it will be even better to show it to them over there on the big screen.

5.) Prepare breakfast with most of the food are like heart shapes. It will definitely put instant smile on your love ones faces.

I only put ideas here that are not expensive because the best things in life are mostly free and doesn’t have to be pricey.

Reasons Why You Need to Visit Philippines

Happy Monday my loves! Today I will be sharing some places to go when in the Philippines and the reason why you should visit. First of, for those who have not heard of that country. It is located in the southeast Asia close to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and also a neighbor of China, Japan, Korea and many more.

I had to post these outfit because these Tom’s are my companion most of the time. Very comfy shoes to walk around town. I guess if you are flat footed it my not be the same comfort for you. Philippines is close to the equator that is the reason why it has 7,107 beautiful islands. We have a lot of beautiful beaches with white sand and crystal clear water. Good morning lovelies! Since Valentine’s day is in two weeks. I am glad to share to you this outfit I wore when my husband and I had a mini vacation by ourselves at the Marriott Hotel Manila, Philippines. We just celebrated our being together since we started dating back in 2000. We took the opportunity to do this since we were back home and our parents were just so happy to take care of their grandchildren (our kids) with open arms since they missed them so much.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay there. We reminisced so much about all the things we used to do when we were still in the Philippines. We watched Star Wars the movie at Mall of Asia, went to the Hotel’s Happy Hour and at the Hotel lounge we got to listen and got to wear this beautiful Dress from Oasap. You wouldn’t believe it was under $20 because the material looks and feel great. It was very appropriate for that place since it was a 5 star Hotel. I must say I was simply well dressed.

Date Nights can be anything. It is not just dining out at a fancy restaurant kind of thing. It is the presence of love with the company of each other. Weather be it going to the movies at the park, sitting by the lake watching the sunset, getting some ice cream and just eating it inside the car, stargazing from the roof top. Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a good day. Just wanna share to all of you our happy moments with the snow after the snow storm Jonas. I am also hoping that if you were snowed in like us, your streets have been plowed already.

That Sunday after the storm was very beautiful because it was sunny. Everything looks good except for the fact that my husband had to start shoveling for me to be able to go to work on Monday (I know right, it is part of the job as a health care professional).

As my husband was shoveling I took the kids to play for a little bit just to do some snow ball fight. They really enjoyed it and my son Aidan was even trying to eat the snow. We really had fun but had to take them in after at least 15 mins of being outside as I don’t want them to catch a cold.

So for those of you who has not experienced snow yet. You really have to be well dressed like wearing thermal under your clothes to keep you warm. When it was my first time to experience snow. My husband and I was outside for like an hour playing with it and was not wearing any thermal. When I got inside, i coukdn’t feel my legs for a while and it was really red. I got so scared that I had to be near the fire place. It could have been frost bite. So now we always make sure we wear appropriate clothes in the snow as detailed below the pictures.

Happy Monday loves! Today, I am sharing another look from my recent trip to the Philippines. This top is actually a dress according to the sales rep (but for petites ” I think”) and since it is too short for me I just wore it as a top so I called it dress top.

I was shopping there and found this beauty on the mannequin. The mannequin was also wearing it like a top. So I ask the sales rep if I could try it and I really liked it so much. This can be my early spring/summer look for this year. And with this style, you can easily add blazer and it will be an instant work outfit or a trench coat I you just want to be casually chic.

The colors I am currently obsessed right now are neutral colors and the typical back and white combo. I am leaning towards more outfit mix and matching this year. I hope this look inspired you.

Hello beauties! I have missed you all. It’s been awhile I know, This is actually my first official post for 2016. For those of you who have been following me on instagram knows that I have been on vacation to the Philippines for 3 weeks. Yes! the whole fambam had a winter escape and we all enjoyed it so much. Not only because of the beautiful weather there but because we were there to celebrate the Holidays with our beloved families. Not to mention how hard It was to find a good internet signal and plus most of the time we were with the fambam that is why I have been M.I.A.

Today, I am sharing this look that I wore on my husband’s grandfather’s 80th birthday Celebration. If you notice here, I chopped my hair. Yes indeed! It is the new year and I want to have a new look. My shortest hair ever, and I am loving it. Thanks to Nico the stylist who encouraged me to try this look. What do you think? The dress I am wearing here is from a local store in the Philippines (Maldita). One of the brands I loved when I was still back home.

Here is another question? Did you notice my eyelashes? Yes, I finally braved myself and tried it. I actually like it so much but not the part where I cannot just rub my eyes the way I used to. It was also hard to swim with it. But hey! It makes me feel good.

On my upcoming post… I will talk about more of my trip and all the things I have done which I think is worth sharing. I invite you to visit Philippines when you get a chance to go to Asia. It is a neighboring country to Thailand, Indonesia, China, Japan, Korea and a whole lot more.

Hello lovelies! Sending warm greetings from the Philippines! Yes, I am on vacation and that is why I am MIA blogging. Last time I visited my family here was 3 years ago. I so missed them and the tropical warmth of our country specially around this time of the year when it is cold in the USA.

Today, I am wearing this dress from oasap to wear for NYE. I know…. another red. I guess it has been my favorite color of the year. Why Red? It is a very lucky color to wear on NYE coming from my chinese roots. It has been our tradition here in the Philippines to wear red on NYE because we have a lot of Filipino-Chinese, it has been said that it brings good luck and prosperity for the New Year.

And can you see how gorgeous this dress are? And it is only under $20 but very good quality for its price tag. I really love this one! I just had to make adjustments with size because it is big. I usually order Large when it comea from China but this one is truly Large in fit. I guess I should have gotten a size small.

Hello beautiful! Just wanna share this very special pashmina scarf my friend gave me from India. It is very soft material, so good when it touch your skin. You can do different styling on this one. I added it to my regular sweater weather style to add some chicness to this look.

You can wear this to any fall staples you have. It comes in many different colors too. This is a scheduled post as at this time we are actually heading our way to the Philippines my Home Country and you can follow along our journey as family and to get to know where my husband and I grew up. This will be Aidan’s first time to be there. I was 5 weeks pregnant with him when we went there last time.

So excited because we get a winter break (literally!) the weather there is between 75-90 degrees.

I just wanna share you our Family Holiday Photos, as you can see here. Finally we are complete, we had to use the camera’s self timer. Our first Holiday photo shoot was just me and the kids HERE because my husband is our official photographer.

Talking about Holiday traditions, For us, We always visit our relatives so we are always out of town on that day. Dec 24th we always attend the mass and it ends at exactly 12mn Christmas Day. Then we greet each other and go home sleep. Then we usually have family luncheon and gift giving.
