I have been into a lot of girly girly outfits lately as you all can see on my recent post. I don’t know why but I am really in love with all the fashion trends that is out in the market these days. The ruffled tops, bell sleeves, lace trims, dresses and tops. I have tried them all already and have been completely embracing it. And I am not planning to stop as I would like to invest more on them this Spring/Summer. I just can’t wait to flaunt all these trendy pieces without having to wear a coat on top.

We have actually been lucky here in Maryland as we have been getting Spring like temps. That being said, I just observed that our trees in our backyard already are budding. It makes me think of all floral outfits that our out there.

Ruflles are everywhere and in different variations of it. Just like the previous post I had with different styles here. I have been loving this trend so much. It makes a simple blouse make a statement. My closet is already filling up quick with everything Spring. This is I know I will wear so many times and with different jeans and shoes. It is just one of this chic casual moment.

Ruffles doesn’t come in blouse, it also comes in dresses like this post last year where I linked different ruffled dress. This one of those styles that will continue to evolve and will stay for a while just like the cold and off shoulder ones. Glad I was able to sashay this look even though we were having this windy and rainy photo shoot day. This was actually my first time doing photo shoot and it was raining cats and dogs. I found my shelter here at the Library. Will my outfit pass as a librarian? I think I will be the stylish one 🙂

I don’t know about you but I already feel Spring is coming soon. We are having some mild days here in the DMV and I am loving it. This coat which I had for a long time now made it a perfect combination with this white lace top I got from Chicwish. I am just starting to love this new brand as they have the stylish pieces that I fancy these days. If you have noticed in my recent post. I am leaning towards to a lot of girly girly blouses and dresses.

I have been wearing stylish and chic blouses lately and this white top is one of them. It is light perfect when transitioning from Winter to Spring as you just have to take the coat off when the temperature calls for it. So I guess that is just my current mood. I love to dress depending on how I feel so I really do not have a particular style. Same goes to the music I listen too. I can go to RnB, alternative, rap metal to pop. But of course there will always be my go to style. Just a pair of jeans and a cute top.

Stylish Sweaters from Winter to Spring

Have you all noticed that I am loving things girly lately? Let us not make winter dull and boring. Let’s put life into it by wearing some stylish sweaters where you can also add a coat on. Even though you see snow or trees without leaves. This chic styles like the bell sleeves, bows and ruffled sweaters make winter style fun.

There are a lot of styles you can create by pairing then with OTK’s, ankle boots, regular sneakers. These can also be worn with skirts and mostly with jeans. These styles has been in around for a while now and is still making a hit in the fashion scene. So be sure to have at least 1 or 2 of them. These items I tell, will come in handy specially when you are in a rush and just wanna wear something fabulous. Just the sweater alone is already a statement itself.

I was just so feeling chic as my style varies depending on the mood. So I just created this checkered coat and pink top. I should say #currentmood 🙂 But if you have been following me know, you know I can be simple casual girl to a really girly girly. With today’s look, It was not that cold that day so I wore one of my Spring top that I really really love!!! It is super cute and comfy as it is pink and it has this pretty bow from chicwish. They do have a lot of things I would need to prep my wardrobe for all seasons.

As for this checkered coat, It is just enough for the 50’s kind of weather to keep you stylish and warm. Adding the comfy fit and style of my skinny jeans. So winter days can be fun incorporating some of the Spring outfits you already have in your closet. I am just glad that it is not always in the 20’s -30’s here in our area. There can be some good days that feels like Fall or Spring.

What is under your coat? Mine is this soft laced hem sweater in winter gray and added the set of these cute scarf and OTK to make the whole look cozy. I added my favorite color as pops of blue to add life to the monochromatic shade of this style. I am super ready for spring and for the upcoming outfits you will really feel the Spring vibes. This sweater is not just for winter as it can also be worn all year round due to the versatility of the style and material. I also just realized that I have worn so many gray colors this season that to make it different from the others. I just add some other colors or just have a different styles.

Sharing some of the different winter coat for different styles. As you will not wear a leather jacket over if you are wearing a Dress is you are attending a formal occasion. You know what I mean right. Depending on the style you are trying to pull on a certain mode as there are always a jacket for that. Most of the coats here can be worn for most casual looks. The Camel coat is mostly for like a business casual or church dress look. The The Faux fur coat is more of the fashionista in you if you are going to a party or just be hanging out with friends.

Most of the items I have linked here comes in different colors. You have so many styles to choose from as we all have different body types and style. Most of the items are also on sale as we all know. It will be Spring before you know it so most winter items are now on sale so take advantage of it. Isn’t it obvious that I am done with winter. I am actually shopping for my spring wardrobe and here is one of them. I really fell in love with this sweater from Zara, first off is that is has the bell sleeve, blush pink color and the best of them all is that is that it is super soft!!! It actually matches the shoes I recently got from Asos. Sorry but I am not sorry as you will see a lot of re appearance for those shoes as they are stylish and comfy.

I am currently leaning towards lighter colors lately and you will see them in my upcoming blog posts. It just gets me so excited that I have something to look forward too. I love seeing snow only if I don’t have to drive to work 🙂 How about you? Have you started shopping for your Spring/Summer outfits? Showing off the girly girly in me. If you have been following me you know that I love wearing dress. I wore this pretty dress at church and brave the cold to show off the details to all of you. As you can see we just had a snow and it was really freezing. I just felt like Queen Elsa of the movie Frozen. I cannot just let this be under my coat and not share its beauty. I just fell in love with the lace details and it was a perfect match to my block heel shoes and mini blush pink bag.

This dress is so sophisticated that it can also be a bridesmaid dress. It can be worn in a formal party with a strict dress code. I also love this dress from Dainty Jewells. With all these pretty dresses I just can’t wait for Spring and Summer so I just can wear them and not worry about the cold and cover it with a long coat.

Snow Tubing

It was windy that day enjoying snow tubing by herself stating she is already a big girl. What are you all doing this week? I suggest you take a trip to the mountain and do some snow tubing with your family and friends. Why did I say that? It is winter and there is snow. So take advantage of some of the good things you can do during the winter times. If you have been following me on instagram. You already know we went to White Tail Ski Resort in Pennsylvania last week before the New Year. It was so much fun I tell you in case you also missed all my instastories about it. That is why I included some of the videos we took here with our GoPro Hero 4 silver.

The last time we went to this ski resort was in 2009. I don’t know why but recently I was craving for snow. So when we had a get together with our friends during Christmas time. One of them started inviting us to go for snow tubing. And I was like, yes we would love to. So 4 of our family friends went and then we stayed in a hotel nearby and had a blast. The kids really enjoyed the tubing, the swimming in the indoor pool of the hotel. It is about the fun experience and the bonding. I would love to do skiing but I always feel that it is to dangerous specially with little ones. So go ahead and plan your next winter getaway.
