Summer means a lot of outdoor fun and activities for everybody and one of them are picnics. A visit to the park with family and friends for a get together. This romper would be a nice outfit for picnics. It is easy to wear, one and done and can be paired with any type of summer shoes like slides, sandals and the likes.

I wore this simple but chic romper and paired it with my favorite cute slides and it was easy to move around the park. It is another comfort and style look to achieve this season. Rompers are the best bet if you don’t feel like wearing a dress and conscious that when its breezy you might have a Marilyn Monroe effect. With this outfit you can play with the kids specially if you have freesbies and other outdoor games.

Top of the morning to all of you from Maryland!! How was your weekend? Mine was busy as usual, we attended a birthday party and a going away party. Speaking of parties… we are just a week away from 4th of July. I know everybody has a lot of things in store on what to do on that day. This is an outfit inspiration with patriotic color scheme for that day which doesn’t scream like it is the 4th of July. I am wearing this easy dress from Karina (my favorite!!) just paired it with these shoes and straw bag. Very summery feel for this outfit combo. Plus, It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon so we took a stroll here the the marina. It was a little breezy too and this dress was really going with the flow with its softness. The micro polka dots also got me to love this dress so much, brings me some vintage feel.

Anyway, this look is best for cookout parties, family reunions and just hanging out with friends during day time kinda gatherings. This look is perfect for the weather and the holiday that is coming up.

TGIF!! What are your plans this weekend? I know I will be busy as I will be working then will be going to my friends birthday party on tomorrow and another going away party for my other friends mom. Now back to my mustard yellow dress which I was talking about on this post here. I wanted a dress version of the mustard yellow as it really is the color I have been eyeing lately and is on trend now. I just paired it with my brown sandals and bag which completed the color more. As you have noticed earthy colors are in just as what I wore on Monday from this post here.

Yay! It is officially summer!!! Summer solstice it is and today I am sharing this look I wore to church on Father’s day. This dress is so beautiful and so comfortable. The material is so soft and I love the style and cut. It felt like effortless elegance to me. This dress is similar to Julia Hengel blog post here and the here dress here which is pricey compared to what I wore. They are both beautiful and very girly girly. This can be worn to a simple casual backyard parties too. I paired it with the straw bag and the comfy sandals you last seen me worn in Greece.

Happy Friday y’all! Just sharing my Sunday ootd when we had the heatwave here in the DMV area. Since the weather was really hot that day. I just wore this very simple sleeveless shirt dress to beat the heat and my very summery Obag. Which will be a perfect beach companion as it is made of rubber. It is also build your own bag as you can customize it. Paired the whole outfit with the wedge sandals and this turned out to be very chic summery feel.

It is gonna be the weekend again and I already have some outfits lined up specially that Father’s day is another special event to celebrate. I have those lovely summer dresses to wear and look cute.

Lace Mesh Dress to Impress

How is everybody doing on this hump day? I finally was able to upload these photos from the look I had when I attended my friend’s daughter’s 18th birthday. It was a special event for us Filipinos (just like sweet 16). I was also one of the performers in this birthday together with my husband as the lead guitarist of our band. I chose to wear this dress as I have love the mesh design and the details which is perfect for the event. The birthday theme was also a fairy tale land so wearing this was really appropriate.

I paired it with the block heeled sandals which was perfect because I lasted long without changing into flat shoes. You all know what I mean…. I was thinking of pairing it with a red shoe but I just want to add contrast to the red detail of the dress so I did not pursue. This dress is another fab find under $100 which I talked about on my previous post here.

Happy Monday! I can’t believe it is the Monday grind again. How did you spend your weekend? I had a very busy one. If you follow me on instagram and watched my instastories you knew we went to two events. I had to sing in the band for both, the day event was a teacher’s reunion party so it was a casual one and the night event was 18th birthday of my friends daughter (just like sweet 16 here in the US).

That being said, I will talk about Dresses for special occasion and if you have a lot lined up for this season. I have come up with dresses under $100 to stretch the everyday girls budget. Be it summer wedding, cocktail party, hangout with friends party…

These dresses should be able to give you some inspiration to get excited to attend those special occasions. It can be paired with metallic accessories like gold, another trend to add on your summer trend alert list. It will be a perfect combination for most of the fabulous dresses on this list.

Summer is just around the corner and I know most of you already have plans on going on to a beach, after work pool day and other fun in the sun activities. And here are some of the beautiful and trendy six must have summer swimsuits you might wanna pack with you on your summer trips. My favorite among the the six is number 5. I really would love to wear them. We are all embracing the Ruffle trend for a while now and I am loving it. The color white too is perfect specially when you achieved that tan!!!

I would also get me a cute sandals, straw hat, pretty beach bag and cool sunnies to pair with them. You might be heading somewhere already this weekend. my family have been planning to go to Sixflags waterpark next week because the weather will be in the 90’s. Just perfect for pool dipping!!
