I know I am not short but still I know how to dress a maxi to make us look taller. The trick is with the slit. Having slits on one or both sides will show of your legs creating a silhouette of longer legs. With my body type, I am 5’6″ so I am over average female height but my torso is longer than my lower extremity. So there are some styles that if I don’t do right will make me look shorter. Take note this is non maternity so now worries if you are not pregnant.

This dress is so pretty and comfy perfect for Summer gatherings or even a Summer wedding event. Specially if you are going to the beach. The material is breathable and is really soft to the skin. You can wear this with flat and heeled sandals. You can add a straw hat to add more statement in to it.

Also if you are worried about the slits. They are not that high so it doesn’t look daring if you are concerned about that. It is very decent length and has enough coverage. It was really looking good walking with it because every time I made a step it shows of my legs as if I am juts wearing shorts with kimono over it.

This is one Summer style you should try this season, It will not disappoint! I hope I was able to give some nice insight about wearing a maxi dress with slit that will help you look longer, taller.

Hi everyone! just wanna share to all of you my love for statement earrings as you can see on my recent post that i have been wearing a lot of them. They are one of the Spring/Summer Style staple I am very passionate about.

Let me share you how this all started…. One day I got from work and both Adi and Aidan were very excited to sell their old toys with me. They were on the dining table with price tags on them. It was really funny but i told them I wouldn’t buy them because they were ridiculously overpriced.

They probably got the idea when we rented a space for a yard sale back in October. They really enjoyed selling and putting the items in the plastic bags for the customers.

So I got into an Idea of teaching them how to make money and the value of it. As I myself had done it when I was their age. I always have ways to earn money on the side. I started selling mangoes when I was 7 years old, then I made my own heart shape stuff I sold for Valentines day. Back in High school I made beads bracelets and sold them and when I was already working after college I sold a lot of different items from cellphone cards, wines, shoes etc…

So I educated the kids about how I made money from them and how they can make money too. So I told Adi how about we opened an Etsy store since we are both crafty and used her name Shoppe Adrianne since it is a combination of Adi and Ianne from my Christianne.

That is how we got into this jewelry making, we are still a work in progress and we will try to create more cute stuff for you guys. We are also accepting comments and suggestions regarding our items so we can better serve our customers. I am just so glad that the kids are learning a lot. I want their Summer break become memorable aside from having a new baby sister this August.

During my first two pregnancies, I did not have any Instagram accounts that I follow that are really inspiring for a pregnant woman like me. All I know is that when you are pregnant most likely you feel miserable and looks haggard.

Now with the Instagram and this whole influencer and being one really changed my outlook. To me, I follow accounts that inspire me to get better not to get jealous. Of course most of the accounts are curated by still. That doesn’t discourage me to follow people from there. I take it as a challenge for myself to be the better version of me. Through this accounts of mamas to be. I was able to feel that you can do a lot of things being a mother.

On my second pregnancy, Aubrey Miles one of a Filipina actress inspired me to be better being healthy eating healthy food and exercising. That really helped me through this pregnancy knowing and feeling I am fit than my first 2 pregnancies.

Now these accounts inspire me to look good even though most of the time I don’t feel good because of my tummy getting heavy, morning sickness during my first trimester and my achy varicose veins.

I have been dressing pretty well I must say and it really makes me feel good and that is why I am blogging in the first place anyway. To inspire and make others feel the same in their own way. I know we are all created in different shape and sizes and we should all be loving ourselves and also we can be better version of ourselves.

Pregnancy Summer Style inspiration for women who are struggling with the heat and want to feel chic and comfortable at the same time together with their baby bump. I am on my last leg of pregnancy and believe me when I say that it feels like I am in a desert for this Summer maternity. I have been there as I was pregnant the whole Summer with Aidan my son. This is just a repeat and having the right outfit to wear is the most important, not just for pregnancy styles but wearing the right maternity clothes. 

I can live in maternity dresses the whole Summer long. It can make anybody feel the prettiest and the freshest with all these maternity styles! Being a pregnant woman in this the third trimester, it is also the heaviest feeling as our tummy grow fast.

And this maxi dress I was wearing here has the right style and material. It made me feel like I was wearing the lightest dress ever even though this is long. It was so flowy but unfortunately it is not available but I have linked up styles that are similar to this dress that I know you will all love. I am also thinking of pencil skirt as a pregnancy outfits.

Lately Living in a Maxi Dress preparing for hot Summer days while on my third trimester. Maxi dresses are perfect Summer uniform for everyone. This post is not solely for pregnant women but for all women in general who loves dresses like me. As you will notice I have linked up a lot of other maxi dresses that I know you will also love.

Right now to be honest, I have been into a lot of maxi midi dresses as my varicose veins showed up. As in all of it, it not just looking so bad at the back of my legs but it also hurts. I already talked to my doctor about it and she said she will refer me to a vein doc after I give birth.

I had the same issue when I had Aidan and with proper treatment from the vein clinic it improved. It also runs in my blood, even when I did not have my babies yet. I already get sclerotherapy shots.

So back to this charming dress here. I paired it with this cute macrame bag and kids really loves it. They always say “mommy I really love you bag!” when it first came in the mail. There are a lot of accesories you can pair with this dress and you can wear this dressing up or down depending on the place you’ll go.

What I like most about this outfit is that it is blue my favorite color with florals that made it look so sweet and darling. I just feel so girly girly since I am having a girl. I am a lover of all dresses just like this one I posted last year.
