Chic Winter Style in Oversized Faux Fur Coat

I know most of us stays at home and rarely going out. But if you do, make sure to make it fashion since it is not that often anymore. This Stand Studio oversized Faux fur (teddy) coat is perfectly paired whit this casual outfit I have, you can easily throw this coat over a simple as joggers or loungewear to make to look leveled up.

I have been wearing Teddy coats since I became a blogger and I am loving this trend. To me, it has now become one of the Winter style staple as classic as a regular coat if you are into style and comfort. It easily gives the simplest look the class and the warmth it needs without sacrifising your comfort.

I have added a little bit more teddy coat here for different price points so you have all the option and flexibility depending on your taste and budget.

First Postpartum Style

First Postpartum Style in a non maternity dress and trying out how it looks like with the post baby belly and how I made it work. It has always been a struggle for me to look and feel good after having a baby. I am not gifted with a body who only grows their belly and maintain the size of the other body parts. In this pregnancy, I gained about 37 lbs so I know my body really changed a lot and I gained so many inches on all of my extremities and also still have that post baby belly.

So I got this dress here before I gave birth hoping it will fit good. I tried it on and honestly it really did not zip good at the back. This dress is not stretchy at all so I did not have a room for the excess inches as I ordered my usual medium size.

But I was able to make it work by adding a safety pin at the back. I will still keep this dress as I know in few weeks time my belly will shrink and will be able to wear this good. Another reason why I am keeping this is the color is perfect for a Fall dress. We are closely transitioning to Fall in few weeks time so I made sure I am investing in something I can wear longer.

So for all the mamas out there like me who struggle with post baby belly. You are not alone and it is normal to have them. Let us all give our body time to recover as we carry our precious baby for 9 months and it was not a joke. I also understand we wanted to look and feel good. We can all make it work right? I also do miss my pregnant belly sometimes as I thought about this dress I posted here.

Why I love High Waisted Jeans

Hello Guys! I apologize for being MIA again on the blog here. I will try my best to keep up ones I have the energy. As I have explained before, blog is not my full time job and this pregnancy is really making me feel tired after a 40 hours a week work. It is really hard for me to find time as I also have 2 others kids and also a family I need to be with when I am awake because I am really always sleepy most of the time I am home. I believe it is because I frequent the bathroom at night time.

Now, I will talk about the important points why I love High Waisted Jeans. These are the multiple reasons why I do and why you do too.

I consider myself a pear shape because I do believe my hips are really wide for my top body and my buttocks and thighs are heavier than my top. Therefore, Hugh waisted jeans gives me good covergae around that area of my body and makes me feel longer just like the picture below.

2. They are comfortable because they are seated exactly at your waist line. Make sure you get good brand like this, this , this, this(where I can attest to because I shop there often). I haven’t tried this brand but I read that it is good.

3. It is easy to keep up specially when you sit. I used to love low rise jeans but every time I sit I have to pull them up to make sure I am not giving a free peep show if you know what I mean 🙂 You can see it on this third photo.

Extended Closet/ Blog Office Reveal TGIF and Happy Friday!! I have been looking forward to this moment sharing to all of you my extended closet/blog office reveal. Why did I call it as such? Because what you can see here are some of my favorite shoes and handbags that I really worked hard for to save so I can buy them, it took years for me to have this much stuff. So much of those explanations…

So this part of the house (spare room) has not been touched for a long time. It was an office of the previous owner and they were book shelves. I took the opportunity to turn it into my closet. This is every girly girls dream I should say. My sister in law was joking about it calling me a celebrity. It just so happen that our house already has these built in cabinets and we just repainted them added a chic bench and voila! It turned out really nice and this is were I get my inspiration and do my blog work. Wouldn’t you be inspired if you will be working creating your fashion blog post in this room?

I am also so lucky to have a very supportive husband and plus my father in law is here to help us remodel and re paint pretty much the whole house. Stay tuned on the next post as I will show you our basement living room and Mini Bar.

If I will be in an office setting and casual wear is allowed. You will definitely see me like this. This is how I will dress for Mondays as it is cool and gives good vibes to start the work week right. Why I am saying this, it is because my regular work clothes are just plain scrubs suit. Total opposite of the one you see here. I should say this is my work clothes as a blogger. Now I am talking!

Let me give you some insights about me. Ever since I was small, I have been dreaming myself walking in beautiful clothes for work and wearing high heels. Maybe because I always see my mom all dressed up for work and she looked amazing. But then growing up I then realize that I want to do something different which is to be a doctor. So I took Physical therapy as a pre med course just in case I will not be able to continue medicine as it is very expensive. So I did become a PT which I also love doing as I still help patients and see most of them get better and get back on their feet. I have no regrets as I really enjoy what I am doing and it is a low stress profession.

So back to this look. For most of the casual look if you really wanna look like you are in business you really just need to add a blazer. Yeah? It is an instant upgrade to your outfit and plus you can never go wrong with a Prada handbag and red sole heels. I am not saying that you have to wear expensive items that is why I added those budget friendly version here, I just love wearing those investment pieces. This is just my #girlboss How about you?
