Hi Guys! Today I am sharing Reasons to stay at the Kimpton Palomar Hotel in DC. All the things you need for a best vacation is outlined here. I have been wanting to share our family experience about our stay at Kimpton Hotel Palomar (a boutique hotel) in Washington, DC. I wanna show you how it was to have a staycation around the Nation’s Capital.

Honestly, It is our first time to stay in a Hotel in the District as I live in Maryland which is about 30 minutes away. I am glad to have stayed in DC this time as we were able to visit some of the other beautiful places around it. Most of the people who visits Washington, DC mostly wanna go to every museum and monuments around and specially the White House.

There are other places around that you should also include in your itineraries. I have outlined some of the reasons why you should stay at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar.

Reasons to stay at the Kimpton Palomar Hotel in DC 1. ACCOMODATION. They have the stylish and spacious rooms for you with super comfy beds! I fell in love with their modern style furniture and beautifully designed bathrooms. When we got tired of going around the area at least we enjoyed staying in the room for all those reasons while watching some good shows.

2. WINE HOUR. They have this complimentary wine hour where you get to taste different kinds of wine and make it your happy hour of the day. Good for people who are wine lovers like me and my husband. Don’t worry they also have something for the kids. They have popcorn and lemon waters to share so everybody and for those who does not drink wine. We were able to enjoy those moments staying in the hotel lobby chit chatting. You get to see and chit chat with other guests too if you are some kind of social butterfly.

3. POOL TIME. One of the reasons why we love doing staycations is the swimming pool. Isn’t it fun if you can get to swim while you are staying away from home. It already feels like you are in a resort right? The whole family get to enjoy this pool time specially the kids that loves water. They have this pool float her that we get to use for ourselves. It was a little chilly this day but we were able to manage.

4. FOOD. They have Urbana Italian Dining where you can get to eat delicious Italian food and you will surely enjoy the ambiance. We ate there for breakfast and it was the best meal if the day! They have a lot of breakfast food to offer.

5. COMPLIMENTARY BIKES. Who doesn’t want to explore the surrounding areas if you are staying in this Hotel right? The best part is you get to do cardio. DC is such a nice city to get around on a bike, it is too much of a hassle to use your car and find a parking spot, plus it is expensive too. It was just unfortunate that it was rainy during our stay so we were not really able to go farther than around the City. We would have been able to reach all the Museums…

6. COMPLIMENTARY UMBRELLA AND YOGA MAT. It actually came handy during our stay because it was really a rainy weekend. If you prefer to stay in the room to workout because they have a towel and yoga mat in the closet. Even though the gym is always open 24 hours. It rained so hard after we took this last photo.

Happy Friday! Can we have endless Summer? Another cocktail dress for you guys that has Fall colors in my summer dress. It is definitely looking good for a warm weathers too. Summer nights while you are sipping some cold drinks chilling with your family and friend. It will also goes well with some pointed toe flat shoes if you prefer not to wear heels. The dress is so flattering but I recommend you wearing this not on a very hot and humid day as the material is kinda thick lace. I would suggest you wear this at nigh parties and it will look good with some lighting on it.

Are you ready for some cool days coming ahead. I know I am not ready to bid Summer goodbye. To me the party is just getting started! Oh How I love wearing just one piece and be able to come out without thinking twice. Don’t get me wrong, I love dressing up for cold days but would prefer warmth over cold. Hello from the Nation’s Capital, Washington, DC! We are currently on staycation mode here and playing tourist. So Today, I wanted to share this 1 Romper in 2 Different Styles as to where to wear and how it impacts the changes with the accessories. Style number 1 is so pretty and simple and is perfect when strolling around anywhere. Wearing flats while walking is the comfiest outfit. Style number 2 is perfect on cocktail parties if you are not a dress person and wanted something easy and chic to pull off. Also if you noticed that the sleeves can be worn 2 ways.

I really love summer because there are a lot of easy but stylish and chic outfits to wear for any occasions. We do not need to think to much as to what to wear. For all the busy ladies out there, most of the looks that I create are very easy to make. One and done is my motto for all of them.

Happy Friday! Taking a break from posting about my Cruise trip as I am still working on a post on reasons why you should take a cruise. Today, Friday, I will be talking about Casual Happy Hour Look. It is this outfit that is so chic and easy to wear on a pre weekend celebration! I love how this dress is so flattering and it can be worn both ways. I apologize I totally forgot to button the upper part and it becomes like a round ruffle neckline. As it was really how when we were doing the photo shoot so we were honestly rushing to get the photos done. But the material of this dress is so soft and airy it will make you last long on warm summer nights specially happy hour cocktails!

I might say, this can also be a date night outfit. I paired it with neutral accessories so that the dress will stand out. You can also wear this with wedged sandals, cute mules and if you feel like dressing down cute flat sandals or slides will work as well. Thank you for stopping by and have a nice weekend!

Happy Hump day! as promised, here is another port that we visited. It is another Beach Day at Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. It was the last island that we visited and fell in love with it.It passed the criteria for the beaches that I have been looking for. It has too have pretty white sand turquoise water. We ended up renting a golf cart so we can explore the island by ourselves in our own time as our time in the island is limited to 5 and half hours. You can actually go around the island for 2 hours but did not do it as we just went around downtown and did not find something that interests us so we head back to look for another beach and was lucky enough to be in one where it was just our family. As you can see here, that was the advantage of driving around with the golf cart.

As you can see here, I have this cute two piece bikini that is high waist and so flattering and so affordable. Since the sun is too high that is why you always see me with my hat and sunnies. The crop top and the shorts was my cover up when we were moving around the port of course.

As for the horses, you can do horse back riding for an hour for $65 at the beach right next to were our ship docked. The water there was not good so we were lucky enough to have roamed around and found the beautiful isolated governors beach for ourselves. The beach were the ship docked has a nice pool and they have fake surfing areas. A lot of things to do like shopping, staying at the bar, island hopping, snorkeling and other water activities like jet ski and banana boating.

Happy Monday! Sorry for being MIA on the blog for a week. We took a 7 day cruise and the internet is so bad. I am back now and will be able to show you all of the pictures from out recent trip. Let me start of with All my Looks from the Beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico.

It was the second port we visited from all the 4 ports to see from our itinerary but this port has a different vibe from the others. You will see the rich culture of this country to think they are still recovering from the devastation of hurricane irma. The gorgeous view of the city from the Castillo San Cristobal where my look 1 was taken. The beautiful fortress you will learn a lot from the history. This is similar from the Fort Santiago we have in Intramuros Manila, my hometown in the Philippines. Also, good to know they were discovered by the Spanish in 1521 same as when the Philippines was discovered. Puerto Rico is were you can taste the best Pina Colada were it is originally from, another must try is their very tasty mofonggo.

Now let me talk about the outfits, on the first dress. It was really flowy and it was perfect being blown away by the warm breeze and perfect for summer trips like this. The second dress is also perfect as it blended in with the color architecture of this city and the dress is so light.

I highly recommend you visit this beautiful city either by cruise or flying to it. But honestly, he kids did not enjoy this port because all they wanted to do is swim, swim and more swim. What do you think about the dresses? Let me know from your comments below.

This dress is so flowy and the material is so light, it really makes you feel cool. Also the length of the dress is so perfect not to short and not too long.

Happy Monday and warm days are really here and I can really feel it. I tried a different look and really loved it. As you can see I am wearing shorts and heels. Not my typical look but I am loving it! So therefore, This should be your Summer Uniform. As simple as a cute top and shorts with either high heels or any type of shoes of your liking. I opted the high heels because that is what I really like and it really matches my top. This look is perfect for happy hour and other cocktail parties. Another thing that I have loved about this look is the pretty asymmetrical style of this top as it added a classy feel.

Happy Friday! Not your typical Summer Blouse with the red and green color combo that you will usually see during the cold months is perfect for warm days as well. With the current fashion statements, we now think outside the box and not stick to the old styling. We mix and match a lot of things like this now and wear it all year round. This color you may see mostly during the Holidays but it also looks good during this time of the year, don’t you think?

I just love the beautiful frill top and florals will always be my favorite style all year round. The green top also gave me the opportunity to wear my green wedge. I love matching my top and shoes or any of my accessories. Also, how gorgeous is this Furla Mini bag? The color and style can be paired with anything and the design is perfect for this season and I am obsessed!
