Can you feel that fall is starting to make an early entrance? Every morning when going to work I can already feel its cool breeze. And here I am sharing this Fall Trend: Retro and Feminine Top that will sure give you the fresh style and will give you enough warmth on a cool breezy fall air. I added wearing these very comfy booties from last Fall. It is undeniably exciting to see those colors changing on the trees and the smell of pumpkin spice everywhere.

I was shopping at the mall yesterday and smelled the scent of fall fragrances and it got me shopped for a new pair of booties who are on clearance that you will get to see on the blog soon. And that is also the reason I curated this look to give some outfit inspiration for you to help you get you Fall wardrobe shopping ready.  I will share a splurge and save links on those Fall finds that will surely give you a chic and fab look this coming season.

Making a Difference by Starting #Iappreciateyoumovement This blog post is not just about fashion but about life in general and Making a Difference by Starting #Iappreciateyoumovement is something I have been thinking about for a while now. I have been noticing a lot of negativity around me like people complaining about everything here and there. That kept me thinking why do they do this? It was made crystal clear that most of the people are not being appreciated.

I am currently re-reading the book of Dale Carnegie “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and he clearly stated there this. The deepest urge in human nature is “desire is to be important. This desire makes you want to wear the latest styles, drive the latest cars, and talk about your brilliant children. So he stated on the book to show people they are important is to show sincere appreciation.

Greatest example of it was my brother. He was really excelling in school for consistent year and every year my parents failed to show up on recognition days and I will be the one there with him to accept his award. Of course for his young mind, he was proud of his achievements and wanting my parents to be proud of him too. Then after a few years, he started not excelling in school and now thought about this quote “If you don’t show your appreciation to those who deserve it, They’ll learn to stop doing the things you appreciate.” -from pinterest

And another good example is “A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected.” I was always being noticed by my father when I was younger that I love to draw and he always tells me I really draw good and I can be an artist in the future. That kept me practicing more and even competing in some poster making contests in school. My effort is being recognized and that is a greatest feeling.

So today, I am starting #Iappreciateyoumovement because I want you to “Be Somebody who makes everybody feel like Somebody.” I encouraged you share this post if you really like this and start spreading this positive vibe throughout our community. I suggest get a sticky note pad and give it to somebody that you truly appreciate and start seeing the big difference (in a good way). By showing someone how you appreciate them, you are making that persons day and I bet it will make our day too knowing you made someone feel important equals both of you being happy.

Where To Stay:

We stayed at the Courtyard By Marriott North Oceanfront 

They recently renovated the rooms and they look amazing! You can definitely feel the beach vibe with those wall paper. The beds are comfy and they have complimentary coffee and tea in the room, microwave and ice vending on every floor. The best part that we really enjoyed was the resort type pool area, they even have a Pool Bar. Saw this while moving around and they have different places for dining, activities for the whole family and entertainment like live performing bands.

What to Do:

Watch live bands usually near the statue of Neptune

Watch Street performers

They have I fly indoor sky diving area

Water activities like dolphin watch, ferry boat ride, jet skie, parasailing (you will love it!)

Visit the Zoo

Zipline adventure nearby

Visit museums

Bike rentals

Surrey biking like what we did on previous trip there here

Where to Eat:

We ate at Captain George Seafood restaurant

Grabbed an ice cream and pizzas at North End Pizza

We went this time because it was Aidan’s birthday and even though we only stayed overnight. we actually got to do a whole lot because even if you are checked out. You still can park at the hotel and use the swimming pools. So that is all we did eat, swim, sleep and play… So if you are looking for some fun time at Virginia beach. I highly recommend staying at Courtyard (#not sponsored)

Back to Basics with Denim Overall for a chic casual everyday look that is easy to pull if you are always on the go and wanna look fab. You know I am all into dressing up good and easy that is why I love dresses, jumpsuits and romper. If you are a mom like me, you do not have that much time for preparation for yourself because you have to help your kids get dressed to.

This outfit is also a good transitional style from Summer to Fall. Another good style for back to school style. This style is for all ages. Any age group can pull this off and if you are really in to comfort, you can easily wear sneakers with this look. The length of this overall is long that is why I wore it with the wedge sandals so I do not have to roll it up. But I suggest you do it when  it is long for you and you wanna wear it with flats.

Have you tried the polka dot trend yet? I have been seeing it a lot lately and embracing the Polka dot trend. I have seen a few come start of this year and let me tell you something about this trend. Polka dot outfits is something you will see yearly every New Year’s Eve in the Philippines because of the belief that it is a sign of money. So if you are wearing one, you are summoning it to come to you.

Polka dot is such a classic just like the stripes for me. This particular dress really got me because of the ruffled hem and it being a wrap dress with flared sleeves. For me, this is a good transitional outfit from Summer to Fall. It is light and the color is just so gorgeous for both seasons. As you all know me, I love pairing same colors for my accessories and I came up with white. It is neutral and can be paired literally with anything.

What about the cobble stones here? Do not attempt walking on them when you are wearing heels. It is for trained professionals like me. Lol! You don’t want to sprain your ankle then you are gonna have to see me and I will give you therapy 🙂

Exploring Mount Vernon, VA in a Rebecca Taylor Romper because it was gorgeous weekend and we want to see a scenic view of the Potomac River. It was so beautiful on the other side of the Fort Washington. Driving up towards the Plantation House of George Washington was amazing! It would be perfect if we were in a convertible. OH, I just can imagine as you can see in the photo here. They have this small spot for the people to stop and take a look and picture if you’d like of this stunning view.

This was actually my first time seeing this view of the Potomac river from this side (Virginia). My husband actually suggested that this will be a perfect photo shoot location and he was right. This is were they ride with his friend on a motorcycle. They have restaurants too on this side that has the view. If you are visiting DC this is just 30 minutes away from the city and is actually opposite side of the National Harbor.

So for the romper, if you have watched my instastories last week. This is such a perfect outfit for a warm weather. It is kinda short but still looks classy and the fit is so flattering. The color and those ruffle edges at the hem was so fabulous! I even took a bathroom selfie with the whole outfit and how adorable is the bag? The color is just so gorgeous and who else is not into straw tote this Summer?

Have you ever felt that you are powerful or stronger because of the outfit you are wearing? Well, I did! With the Jumpsuit for keeps, I can say that because it has the great style, fit and good quality material. The price tag for this is justified, you know you can wear this over and over again. It is not just one of those trendy pieces that you wear few times and then it goes to donation boxes or re selling it.

I must say that this particular outfit is for the Boss ladies out there! The fabric is elastic, doesn’t wrinkle and it really has a great fit. The length is just right and the style is classic. Something that you would wear in meetings or you can even wear this too for a night out. Very versatile, so I really think this is such a good investment piece.

Another thing to consider, since this is for keeps to make sure it really last long. Handle it with care and read the washing instructions.  This jumpsuit has to be dry cleaned and that being said you really have to handle this with care. But I promise you, it is really worth the bucks!

6 Reasons Why You should go on a Family Cruise

Hello guys! I finally was able to finish this blog post about our cruise. I am here to share all the reasons why  you should go on a Family Cruise. Honestly, I am scared of riding boats or even cruise ships or thinking I might get sea sick but hey. How will I know if I will never try, right? So back in February my husband and I was thinking of a family travel for this year and we were like. We should try something different (our adventurous side kicking in!) and we thought about the cruise. Talked to a friend and gave me the contact number of their travel agent. Ms. Jing (our agent) was very helpful as we are first timers and gave us all insights on what kind of room to book and where is the best location at the ship and so we booked….

And so the adventure began and ended and here are the reason why we enjoyed it as a family and why your family will have the best time….

  1. FOOD! Nobody wants to be hungry specially when you are travelling with kids who are most of the time asking for food. It is all inclusive so no need to worry about it and just know which restaurants are open at a certain time and go there.
  2. SWIMMING POOLS! There are different areas in the ship that the whole family can enjoy, whirlpools for the adults, water park for the kids and young at hearts.
  3. ENTERTAINMENT. All around the ship there are places of entertainment from Stand up comedy, lives band performance, mini concerts, game shows, kids shows and many more to choose from for all ages.
  4. BEACH EXCURSIONS. When cruising you get a chance to get of different islands depending on what destinations of your cruise will be. Sounds fun already right?
  5. KIDS CAMP. Our kids enjoyed being in the camp, we usually leave them there when my husband and I want to go to the gym. The kids loved being there because they meet new friends and get to play with them and learn new things like arts and crafts and the likes. Also if you would want to spend an adult time for yourself, your adult friends and family.
  6. CASINO. if you like to gamble. We are not into it but I included it here (good to know).
  7. ACTIVITIES. on top of the ship they have different games for everyone like mini golf, table tennis, billiards, basketball and a lot more.

It was overall a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back again. If you have any questions about the cruise let me know maybe I can make another blog post about it.
