Tie Waist Surplice Mini Dress for Fall and showing off all other ways to style it transitioning from Summer to Fall outfit. It is still warm here in our area so I am still inspired to wear dresses and that can easily transition to cooler temps. Here is this soft and chic style dress that can be worn on any upcoming occasion you may have, be it wedding, cocktail parties and other events you might need to dress up with.

On the next photos I will show you how I styled it different ways just to give you an idea on how you can play with just one dress and use all other pieces you already won in your closet..

Tie Waist Surplice Mini Dress

In here I just paired it with the still on trend white booties. I added a little bit of Fall vibe in this style.

Tie Waist Surplice Mini Dress

on this one, if you are not into white booties, I have paired the dress with this trendy knee high boots. This color combo if perfect for Fall. You can never go wrong with mustard yellow and brown hues. Check this post I had last year with yellow dress.

In case the temp continues to drop, you can just add a trench coat to finish the whole look. I would go with a neutral colored coat to match this dress. I just had so much fun trying out different ways to style this fun dress. It just hide my imperfections on my mid section and the cut and the tie waist actually made this dress so chic. The material is so comfy and the back part I forgot to show is so fabulous. You will definitely love this style.

These styles are easy to create and can be worn as an everyday style.

It is not really cold yet for me to wear these items yet as the weather is still feels very Summer here in our area in Maryland. But I am actually excited for this weekend as the weather is gonna be very Fall like. I can wear all my Fall outfits then while we go apple picking and pumpkin patch.

I am so blessed to be able to still enjoy last days of Summer because I definitely missed it as I was very pregnant. And so glad September was really good weather wise and enjoyed spending my maternity leave with the family. Tomorrow I will be returning to work and will really miss the time I spend home.

SHOP THE LOOK:

AMITY SPECKLED LEOPARD DRESS

FRANCO SARTO KNEE HIGH BOOTS

AMAZON SUNNIES

ZAC POSEN BAG (OLD) SIMILAR HERE

Leopard Print Dress and Knee High Boots is the trend everyone is crazy about and here is my version of it for this Fall season. I have posted different leopard print styles from the past year like leopard jacket, leopard coat and cardigan.

This print is so classic that it never go out of style and just keeps evolving in different ways to wear it from bags, shoes, headbands and a lot more.

As for the knee high boots, it is making its way to the trend as the over the knee trend is being overpowered by it. This boots is just right because it is in between of the ankle boots and over the knees. I have been looking for a good quality one and I even visited my local DSW store just so I can get to feel and try it.

There are still some things that we want to touch and try before we buy just like a good pair of jeans for me. So this knee high Franco Sarto boots is so comfy, the heel height is just right. If you were watching my instastories. I was looking into three different boots and the other two were Steve Madden. Even though this Franco Sarto is more expensive than the other two, I still chose it because I know I will be wearing it more as the color so is so versatile.

How about you guys? Does this print also makes you love it more this season, how about the python prints?

Let me know your thoughts and thank you for stopping by. See you again on the next blog post.

Front Porch Fall Decor

Front Porch Fall Decor
Front Porch Fall Decor

SHOP THE POST:

Happy first day of Fall! I am finally sharing my front porch decor here on the blog. If you have been following me on Instagram you might have seen me post it on my instastory. I just wanna show you our simple home and this time I am being practical. I bought faux pumpkin from Michael’s instead of those real pumpkins which is pretty much the same price. I am actually saving money and you will too if you do the same and will not have to make those pumpkin be rotten.

As for the other stuff, I got me those scare crow this time. But I always of course have the Fall wreath and the fresh mums from Home Depot. I also always change my doormat every Fall. I usually don’t get the expensive ones so I can justify me getting a new one every year.

It is just so nice to have these decors every year. I am not really good keeping the flowers alive. But my mother in law who has a green thumb is here with us to the rescue. She always make sure that everything is well lit and hydrated.

Do you always decorate your front porch every season? Me, I only do it every Fall really and Christmas of course, just like last year on this post. Comes Spring and Summer I just change the wreath to compliment the season. Like I said, I cannot keep flowers alive and I am not happy seeing Faux plants or flowers outside the house either. I pretty much have it everywhere here inside the house.

Next up, I will show you how I upgraded the look of my dining room. I actually wanted to buy a new dining set but I do not have to budget for it yet so I just added something that changed its look and I love it, so I wanted to share.

Thank you so much for stopping by as always and have a wonderful week ahead.

Favorite Fall Booties

Favorite Fall Booties

SHOP THE POST:

ONE/ TWO/ THREE/ FOUR/ FIVE/ SIX/ SEVEN/ EIGHT

Favorite Fall Booties in different styles are here again to add life to your outfit that will give you comfort and warmth. I have put up all these different styles for y’all to keep inspired.

My personal favorite here is number two because of the leather material. It goes well with every outfit and also number six and eight styles. I own booties in snake skin and I guess I am gonna have to get me the leopard print since I am loving that trend. I do have leopard print in flats which I am loving the most.

The open toe booties is perfect too specially when the weather is just chilly and adding a cardigan to finish the look. Suede material is also one of the styles that are really a fall staple and will also go well with almost all the outfit.

If you are looking for something that will make you look tall. Always go for something with heels and is pointed toe. I also believe the square toe is trying to come back this season.

If we can just get all these items in our cart right? But if you are on a budget, I suggest, go for the basic that are timeless and will never go out of style. You can wear it for a long time and you can just add a new style next season. Check my past post here about this timeless booties if you are on the hunt. I have been wearing it each Fall season and it never goes out of style.

How about you? What is your favorite from here? Let me know from your comments below. And as always, thank you for stopping by. See you again on the next blog post and will be talking about a lot of Fall fashion and some home decors….

Today here in Maryland, it is a little chilly. As we are approaching the official start of Fall. I don’t know about you but I can already feel its presence with the changing colors of the leaves and the temp is cooling down. But I am loving it, it is not too cold or too hot. All we need is some chic and cozy sweater just like the ones I have put up on here for your guide to buying your sweater cardigan for this season.

There are a lot of beautiful options for all of us depending on the budget and style we are looking for. So I created this save vs splurge for all of you to choose from.

Through the years I have collected so many sweater cardigans and I have it on different length. I do love me a long cardigan and this year I am rooting on things with Fall colors like, tan, mustard and burgundy. I know I have completed all the basic colors and now I am expanding my options and adding some fun prints and colors that I do recommend you have in your closet.

They can easily add life to your basic shirt and jeans style. Speaking of Fall, what do you love about it or the things you like doing every Fall. Check out all the fun Fall activities we do here.

What I wanna do this Fall is go up north towards New England and see how beautiful it is up there when the leaves start changing colors. I heard they are really beautiful and wanted to see for myself. And checked into their cabins as our Fall getaway with the family.

What I Would Wear at NYFW 2019. Sporting this Leopard print midi dress as we started heading into Fall with the temps starting to drop a bit. I also noticed that the leaves are starting to change colors too.

Going back to this look. I am really working on being able to attend NYFW. Every fashion blogger like me dreams of going to one. I wanna be able to see and feel what it is like attending. I know it is tiring but it is also worth it. Since Leopard print is still on trend. This dress is something I would wear and I was also thinking of adding a Black boots at any height and wearing a wool hat and when the weather gets cold I will add on a leather jacket.

This look can also be worn as an office wear. If your company is not strict and allows you to wear anything. I know some offices still prefer wearing business casual and wearing a leopard print will raise your supervisors eyebrows.

I am hoping next year I can attend the NYFW and I will definitely dress up there. Have you been to one? What do you think about the leopard print style? Is it still a yay or nay for you? Check out this leopard print bomber jacket I wore last year and also the coat here.

Thank you so much and I hope I was able to inspire you with this look and again, thank you so much for stopping by and see you again next week.

Drugstore Beauty Products I Swear By

Drugstore Beauty Products I Swear By

SHOP THE POST:

GARNIER HAIR MASK

DOVE DRY SPRAY

NIVEA COCOA BUTTER BODY CREAM

NEUTROGENA KOHL EYELINER

I know I do not talk about beauty products much. But I just wanna share these drugstore beauty products that I swear by and why. I will outline all the reasons why and what benefits it gives our hair, skin and the whole body.

GARNIER HAIR MASK I use the coconut

First of all, it smells good! You cannot deny that we all look for products that can make our hair smell fresh. It nourish my hair so much that all my curls are being defined and the frizziness is eliminated. I have been getting a lot of compliments on my hair since I started using this and I myself is loving it so much, the texture of my hair is so much better than before.

DOVE DRY SPRAY

Using a spray is so much better than using a stick. I still use a stick though sometimes but the spray last long. Even if I really do sweat a lot, it still gives me that fresh scent. I cannot stress it enough since I tried it and promoted it on my Instagram, I got hooked! I know you will too. Also, no more worries that it might stick to your clothes.

NEUTROGENA KOHL EYELINER

Since I promoted this on Instagram last year. I have been using it, you know why? Because it doesn’t come of unlike the other eyeliner I have used before. I use this as an eyebrow pencil and of course I do not want it to smudge. This one really last long and stays, it is water proof.

NIVEA COCOA BUTTER BODY CREAM

What I love about body cream is its texture and the softness it gives my skin. It dries out easily compared to body lotion. It gives me long lasting moisture on my skin.

We all have beauty products that we really splurge but these ones are really worth the bucks and is inexpensive. How about you, what are the drugstore beauty products you swear by?

Thank you for stopping by and see you again next time.
