Sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Picks from shoes to jacket that will narrow your search for your Fall wardrobe. We are already in the month of August and school starts soon. Fall will be next month and now is the time to shop for it while all the prices are in favor pot the shoppers, right? So here are all the shoe picks for y’all starting with a cute mule, added those 2 combat boots and of course you wouldn’t want to not have a knee high boots to complete you Fall staple. The one I have on my cart right now is the black combat boots and the Spanx Faux leather leggings but unfortunately the sonar sold out so quick.
Now lets go to the Jackets! I am still more into the neutral light jackets or what others called shacked trend as they compliment every simple outfit and add the style. To complete the Fall jacket staple you have to have a trench coat and a faux leather jacket as well. If you have been following me, you know I have those items in the closet and they are classic pieces that will surely can be worn throughout the years in case you just wanna throw on some perfect nice Fall outfit.
These items I picked out here for y’all are practical and stylish pieces, not too trendy. You can wear them as a casual outfit for work, play or whatever you think you can do this Fall outdoors. I don’t normally do business casual as I am mostly in scrub suits, but if I do, this is my kind of Business Casual Outfit. Found this cute silk camisole and just paired it with this comfy denim jeans from Abercrombie and added this super chic laced up sandals. Can also be worn after work for a happy hour.
Here is another one that is more conservative that the first one as I added the scalloped blazer that is super chic from Express! This I will wear for those important meetings that needed to be accomplished.

If you are into Strong classic wear to work look then this is for you. This outfit shows that you are a go getter and you also show some of your feminine side by those shoes. These pieces you can wear all year round as I mention they are classic and timeless styles.
On this look you are more on the trendy styles. The jumpsuit gives all that comfort and chicness you need to work throughout the day in the office and that blazer gives that boss babe finish! I added 2 styles of shoes here depending on your personality if you are more on the classic style or the trendy gal since this braided sandals are so in right now.
And lastly if you are a dress lady or someone who likes wearing skirts… this one is for you! I have added all the classy classic and neutral pieces for you that you can wear through the years! I can say these are basic work wear staple that any should have in their closet.

A Family Day trip at St. Michael’s Island was needed, Since the pandemic started we have been visiting nearby small towns just to see what they have to offer. We have been living in Maryland for 13 years now and we are still yet to explore all its beauty so let me introduce to you this another must see place in Maryland.
We started checking out their Maritime Museum were they showcased all the boats in the marina, how they make them, boats for crabbing, also the history of the town..

You can also explore the town biking and they have these bike rentals for you. This just reminded me of our recent trip to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. You can find these bikes at the Maritime Museum. It is a big area with clustered museums inside from how to build a boat and all other important history of the time. Surrounding it is the Marina and all those beautiful Yacht and Boat and they also offer boat trips that are around 45 mins long. We were suppose to do it but it was so hot that day that we will not survive it with the kids starting to feel tired.

Check them out if you wanna stay in the island. We stayed outside the island near Annapolis as we also wanted to explore Annapolis after.
3. EAT CRABS! We ate at the claw, it is by the Marina and you can dine indoors and outdoors. You will love the view as it is next to the water and of course your Maryland experience is not complete without eating crabs! We ate the the CRAB CLAW, try reserving if you want to come. They were short staffed that day as most places nowadays due to pandemic just to be sure you get accommodated.
There were a lot of restaurants around so if you do not eat crabs nothing to worry about.

It has been 2 weeks since we left Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. It was really such a relaxing and fun experience for the whole family staying there. The main reason why we ended up visiting the island in the first place because I got this deal on the internet for $99 for 4D/3N, the catch we have to attend a 90 min preview to a timeshare they will sell us, so why will I not get it right? SC is an 8 hour drive from Maryland so its wasn’t that bad and there are a lot more reasons….. So why take a family Vacation at Hilton Head Island?
When you got around the whole island. The most you will see are the happy faces of families going to the beach together, biking , eating out, going to the park, kayaking, paddle boarding and so on… I see a lot not just their immediate family but with their grandmas and grandpa’s too!
2. Hotels
As we explore the island, we noticed that it is small and the hotel are mostly walking, biking distance to the beach or the bay side to enjoy the waters. The hotel we stayed at isn’t bad but not the best either I am gonna be honest, It was 5 mins drive to the beach. The Hotel we had the preview for the Timeshare was the bomb! They have 2 properties in the island one next to the bay and one next to the beach so you have best of both worlds there.

3. Restaurants
A lot of restaurants around that are driving, biking and walking distance to each other. The 2 that we went to that we recommend are the Big Bamboo that is walking distance from the Coligny Beach and The Black Marlin Bayside Grill which is next to the bay. Both have good food and have live musics!
4. Bike Rentals
If you and your family love to bike around together like we do then this is another highlight of the trip. The island has a good bike trail that can give you a tour of the island. We only rented the bike for 4 hours just to go around and they have the carriage for And to sit. Some of our hotel neighbors rented a bike the whole stay as their means to go around.
5. The Beach
The beach is 12 mile long and has a long and beautiful shoreline. You can do a lot of things on the beach aside from swimming, playing in the sand, paddle boarding… We saw kite surfing for the first time! You can also bike on the beach, we saw some Yoga class happening too and some swim team practicing. The water was refreshing and the waves are just perfect! We mainly went to Coligny beach were they also have a small park and has beautiful free public parking which we haven’t seen being packed, We were always able to find parking!

Let’s go over my outfit here. This was my first time getting an outfit from Petal and pup and glad I did because they have the cutest dresses. Good quality, love the color and finally they launch here in the US so the shipping will be faster this time unlike when I ordered the dress and it came from Australia. As you can see on the details love the floral pattern and the color combination looks refreshing and very Summery and also can get away wearing in the fall and Spring with booties on. I got a lot of compliments from this wearing this dress. Good news, it is back in stock here!

And now let me go over the place which is The Pembroke located at 1500 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC 22036, unfortunately they only open Saturdays and Sundays during this pandemic. They serve good food and the ambiance is perfect a lot of natural lighting. They also have an outdoor spot but I was not able to take a photo of it though, such an instagrammable place. I ordered a mimosa which is a no brainer for a brunch drinks but they served the peach Bellini and most of the blogger friends highly recommend, I will surely get it next time! I ordered hash brown since I was starving already and it was delicious and they gave us French toast and it was the bomb!!! I am giving them a 5 star for the food and drinks.

When the Summer heat is here and you are on vacation, you just wanna be comfy and at the same time cool. So when life gives you lemons… wear it! This is how I styled my mom shorts adding these cute lemon print bra top! Just by looking at those prints.. it already looks refreshing to the eyes, plus with the white denim shorts, they are just the perfect Summer color combo. This look can be worn when you are on vacation be it in a beach or at the hotel resort lounging by the pool sipping your favorite cold drinks!
High waisted shorts have always been my go to lately, it hides the midsection and it makes my torso look longer making slimmer and taller. Another option is not just white but also a light blue shorts. It is a classic color that can be worn with anything!
How about some Bermuda shorts, for longer length for the thighs. I just adore all the mom jean shorts we have in the market right now. They are all so chic and comfy at the same time. I am so happy that the high rise trend is here top stay for good! And just by adding a simple graphic tee with it you already have an effortless look.
I love that we have so many options now for different body types. So many options to choose from these days. We are now not limited to what we can wear. We have a lot of pieces to choose from.
The bra top and mom shorts here, both I am wearing size small and they are both true to size. Topping it with my current obsession which is the straw bag! and these cute white scrappy sandals. This I must say will be the cutest and comfiest style you can be.
If you are looking into the details here, this outfit still gives you all the chicness you need this season when sometimes there is an extreme heat. Below are the other denim mom shorts I found that are awesome and also for their price points!
The white shorts are just the loveliest style you can pair on any color top you can have. They will be an awesome perfect pair to wear pretty much any wear. You can wear these shorts anywhere even with just a simple T-shirt if you are just running some errands or a tank top. You can tuck them in to these shorts and they will be the comfiest style that you can wear.

Currently on vacation time right now and just wanna share some outfits I wore for this trip. So if you have been following me on instagram, you know we are here in South Carolina a family trip. So I know we will not be just going to the beach but will also stroll around the island here so I made sure to make use of this kimono cardigan.

Worn as a Cardigan over my Summer casual look, this sheer and light weight cardigan is perfect to upgrade a simple look. Loving also the color of it for Summer with its vibrant hues. I am loving a lot of vibrant colors and as I noticed my finger have a neon pink for nail polish. My simple white tank and denim shorts became lively with an added touch of this pretty kimono cardigan.

Now wearing it for what it is really intended to as a beach coverup. I created a reel showcasing how it is walking towards the beach so you can visualize what it looks like wearing over your swimsuit. I was wearing a bright orange bikini and thought that this kimono will compliment it and it did as you can see here. It is the perfect combination and another vibrant style to have on the beach. The color orange which I really do not appreciate that much did not disappoint and the family approves it to. And this kimono wearing over it made it even better!
So this kimono cardigan I must say is a good buy! It is only $22 and material is good, light weight the color compliments mostly anything you pair with it. First time posting a cardigan for Summer as I always share Fall cardigan like this.

Attending a themed event? Here is an inspiration for a family outfit for a Rustic Theme. We recently attended an 18th Birthday party which is the equivalent of sweet 16 for Americans. The theme was Rustic so this is what we came up. Any color that looks vintage is appropriate for this event. We opted on the rose gold, lilac hues for this one.
There are a lot of option to choose from and I have added a lot of affordable pieces here too. Most our outfits are either under $20 or currently 50% off specially Aidan’s outfit we got from the Children’s place.
This first dress is a lovely dress is a chic 4th of July outfit ideas. It has tie straps that can be adjusted to it is manageable and also love the smock detail on top. Truly a lovely outfit, I actually wore it for date night and it is husband approved! The material is so soft and very flowy perfect for all your Summer gatherings. It also has the high low hem that makes it even better to accentuate your legs.
This second dress is a lovely white stripe midi dress. Another one for the win as the stripes are blue and not to much of the patriotic style if you know what I mean.

4th of July is almost a week away and now that we are slowly going back to normal. Things are more exciting this time of the year since we are now starting to see friends and family we haven’t seen in a while. So here I am sharing 4th of July entertaining idea if you are hosting. It is indeed patriotic theme and most of these items I bought from the Dollar store.
Most of the items that I used here I got from the Dollar store. Similar items like 4th of July party supplies and this here for your party needs. I really do not have any plans myself as of now as we will be celebrating with friends a day before. but if we do, here are the things we will definitely use if it will just be us in the backyard. I was actually thinking of going to the pool that day so I will be posting some outfit ideas for you as well for this event.
I just put together some snack tray here mostly healthy stuff and some candies for the kids to enjoy. Barbeque is also another option and some salad bar to add for the adults attending. Drinks will surely be some soda, water and some alcohol to complete. Another idea if it will be a backyard party is to add an outdoor movie night. Just have a prijector and a screen and you are all set. So stay tuned for the 4th of July outfits I will put together.
