Top of the morning to all of you from Maryland!! How was your weekend? Mine was busy as usual, we attended a birthday party and a going away party. Speaking of parties… we are just a week away from 4th of July. I know everybody has a lot of things in store on what to do on that day. This is an outfit inspiration with patriotic color scheme for that day which doesn’t scream like it is the 4th of July. I am wearing this easy dress from Karina (my favorite!!) just paired it with these shoes and straw bag. Very summery feel for this outfit combo. Plus, It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon so we took a stroll here the the marina. It was a little breezy too and this dress was really going with the flow with its softness. The micro polka dots also got me to love this dress so much, brings me some vintage feel.
Anyway, this look is best for cookout parties, family reunions and just hanging out with friends during day time kinda gatherings. This look is perfect for the weather and the holiday that is coming up.
How about you? What are your plans this 4th of July weekend? Are you heading somewhere? As for me, I haven’t booked anything yet but we are definitely heading somewhere and will be long driving. Our favorite thing to do as a family. Let me know your thoughts from your comments below.
Thank you for stopping by and may you have a blessed week ahead.
TGIF!! What are your plans this weekend? I know I will be busy as I will be working then will be going to my friends birthday party on tomorrow and another going away party for my other friends mom. Now back to my mustard yellow dress which I was talking about on this post here. I wanted a dress version of the mustard yellow as it really is the color I have been eyeing lately and is on trend now. I just paired it with my brown sandals and bag which completed the color more. As you have noticed earthy colors are in just as what I wore on Monday from this post here.
I just wanted something different and a little break from the blue and the pinks that I have been wearing the most. What are you thoughts about the earth colors this summer? Are you embracing it too like I do? What are your favorite colors this summer?
Thank you for stopping by and have a nice weekend.
Yay! It is officially summer!!! Summer solstice it is and today I am sharing this look I wore to church on Father’s day. This dress is so beautiful and so comfortable. The material is so soft and I love the style and cut. It felt like effortless elegance to me. This dress is similar to Julia Hengel blog post here and thehere dress here which is pricey compared to what I wore. They are both beautiful and very girly girly. This can be worn to a simple casual backyard parties too. I paired it with the straw bag and the comfy sandals you last seen me worn in Greece.
This style is for you if you love to have enough coverage and yet not suffering because of the heat. Chic and elegant style I must say. Are you heading somewhere this 4th of July weekend? Let me know your thoughts about this look. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for all your amazing comments.
Happy Monday! Sharing some Easy summer style like this cute dress here from boohoo. Have you put out all your summer dresses? Here are some of the summer styles that I love that would like to share with you guys. Easy means one and done right? I paired this cute rust colored dress with white bag and sandals to add contrast to the whole look. Rust is not a typical summer color but hey, fashion these days is more of a self expression. With all the white details, the outfit came to summer life. Aren’t y’all happy we are technically 2 days away from the official summer days!! Are you heading somewhere?
Here are some of the other cute summer dresses I love.
How about you? What are your easy summer styles? I would love to get to know you too.
Thank you for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments.
Happy Friday y’all! Just sharing my Sunday ootd when we had the heatwave here in the DMV area. Since the weather was really hot that day. I just wore this very simple sleeveless shirt dress to beat the heat and my very summery Obag. Which will be a perfect beach companion as it is made of rubber. It is also build your own bag as you can customize it. Paired the whole outfit with the wedge sandals and this turned out to be very chic summery feel.
It is gonna be the weekend again and I already have some outfits lined up specially that Father’s day is another special event to celebrate. I have those lovely summer dresses to wear and look cute.
What are your plans this weekend? Are heading somewhere, beach maybe? Let me know as I wanna know your adventures too.
Thank you all for stopping by and taking time to check out my blog. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Father’s day to all the special dad’s in your life.
How is everybody doing on this hump day? I finally was able to upload these photos from the look I had when I attended my friend’s daughter’s 18th birthday. It was a special event for us Filipinos (just like sweet 16). I was also one of the performers in this birthday together with my husband as the lead guitarist of our band. I chose to wear this dress as I have love the mesh design and the details which is perfect for the event. The birthday theme was also a fairy tale land so wearing this was really appropriate.
I paired it with the block heeled sandals which was perfect because I lasted long without changing into flat shoes. You all know what I mean…. I was thinking of pairing it with a red shoe but I just want to add contrast to the red detail of the dress so I did not pursue. This dress is another fab find under $100 which I talked about on my previous post here.
I hope I was able to give some inspiration to you if you are thinking of what to wear in an event like a special birthday celebration. Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by. Sorry for the late post, I usually post early in the morning but the past few nights I was giving all my time with the family on movie nights, sixflags and a lot of outdoor stuff.
Happy Monday! I can’t believe it is the Monday grind again. How did you spend your weekend? I had a very busy one. If you follow me on instagram and watched my instastories you knew we went to two events. I had to sing in the band for both, the day event was a teacher’s reunion party so it was a casual one and the night event was 18th birthday of my friends daughter (just like sweet 16 here in the US).
That being said, I will talk about Dresses for special occasion and if you have a lot lined up for this season. I have come up with dresses under $100 to stretch the everyday girls budget. Be it summer wedding, cocktail party, hangout with friends party…
These dresses should be able to give you some inspiration to get excited to attend those special occasions. It can be paired with metallic accessories like gold, another trend to add on your summer trend alert list. It will be a perfect combination for most of the fabulous dresses on this list.
Have a beautiful week ahead! Thank you for stopping by.
Summer is just around the corner and I know most of you already have plans on going on to a beach, after work pool day and other fun in the sun activities. And here are some of the beautiful and trendy six must have summer swimsuits you might wanna pack with you on your summer trips. My favorite among the the six is number 5. I really would love to wear them. We are all embracing the Ruffle trend for a while now and I am loving it. The color white too is perfect specially when you achieved that tan!!!
I would also get me a cute sandals, straw hat, pretty beach bag and cool sunnies to pair with them. You might be heading somewhere already this weekend. my family have been planning to go to Sixflags waterpark next week because the weather will be in the 90’s. Just perfect for pool dipping!!
Have a wonderful weekend and follow along my weekend gigs as I will be singing in a band for our friends daughter’s 18th birthday. I will keep you posted on instastories.
We are literally few weeks away until summer. When I think of it, it gives me a vision of chambray. We all see chambray everywhere and so I tried to find another variation of it. And this chicwish top has the floral embroidery that made it distinctively simply and chic to add a twist to the regular chambray style. I want to create a simple look so I just wore it with the white jeans and and slide sandals to make a chic and comfy look for the weekend. I wore this last weekend by the way if you were checking out my instastories.
I also would like to introduce the O bag!! I am so glad to have known this brand. I bough this in Italy and it is not that expensive I must say. It is perfect for summer and the best part is it is that you can customize it!!! You can add what ever lining, handles you like. There are different shapes of the bag too. I found out they have a few stores here in the US. So if in case I got bored with the 2 styles of handles I bought. I can order some more and get more colors.
I hope I was able to give you some inspiration and new items for you to check out.
Happy hump day and Thank you for stopping and hope to see you again on my next post.
This yellow cute off shoulder got me! How about you? Did it get your attention too? I was thinking that yellow summer would be a very loud color but I was wrong. I actually love it so much specially with the style of this top and its cute edges. It can also be paired with shorts and cute flat sandals. I opted to wear it with jeans at this time since it wasn’t that hot for me to wear shorts yet.
There are different variations of yellow that are perfect for this season. Mustard yellow is another one on top of my list. I was looking for a dress in that color scheme. Isn’t it amazing that our style and color choices are not only limited to the common and classic ones anymore. The trends are evolving and now incorporating some colors that you would only see during fall and winter.
I am just so excited for this season of fun under the sun. Lot’s of outdoor activities and water splashing fun.
Have a wonderful week ahead and thank you for stopping by. See you on my next post.
